His previous seasons before Ronaldo arrived were much better.Martial in 2018/19 all comps: 12 goals 2 assists 2086 mins 38 apps
Dybala all comps: 12 goals 4 assists 2409 mins 41 apps

@haram here is what Juventus fans are saying about your man,
Best case scenario now that the big teams are out of the CL is they will likely go on a spending spree.
Let the bidding war begin for Dybala
Or he stays bc Max leaves this summer
Then he continues to under achieve and under perform, under the new coach. Yet he continues to be overrated by folks
Dybala is hardly the flavour of the month right now so I'm not sure there will even be a bidding war in the first place
his brightest moment was 1.5 seasons ago
He hardly even sets up his teammates anymore.
I also think he is mentally weak and limited. Perfect combination for a sale. I hope I'm wrong, but I am not sure what exactly a coach can do to get the old Dybala back? max tried him in different roles, different formations etc...nothing seemed to work.
Not sure superstars sink as far as he has, he has been consistently poor which is worse than inconsistently good and bad IMO.
At this point him leaving is a win-win situation. His skillset will be more useful somewhere else and we could use the money.
Swap him with Pogba
I'd rather have 35yo Alé at this point

So is that the running excuse then?
He's not "my man". He is just better than Martial. If you cannot accept that, then ok. You have quoted me in this thread when I said I was done in the other thread. I can quote people saying that they shouldn't sell him as well, what's your point?
You cant defend Martial and then try and call Dybala out, you just look like a hypocrite.
Again, no one is saying Martial is world class, not even me, but you defend Dybala as if he's a superstar and im saying he's far from it. I quoted you here in the proper thread so us not to derail the Martial thread with talk of this massively overrated player.
Hope we contain our thirst for big names.@haram here is what Juventus fans are saying about your man,

Martial is the one that is massively overrated. We are not going to agree, that's why I said I was done in the other thread.
Does anyone consider Martial world class or a superstar? Nope. Juventus fans are calling Dybala overrated and mentally weak and the internet is awash with discussions over how overrated he is. Buy hey ho
Hope we contain our thirst for big names.
I mean he may do well but why sign a player who A) has positional issues and B) is going through a terrible phase.I don't think that thirst will ever be quenched for certain fans despite previous recent flops like Di Maria, Falcao etc. I'll be upset if United splash stupid money on this guy, especially after all the Solskjaer talk about promoting young players and wanting hard working players (Dybala has a poor workrate). We need quality signings of course, but some players are not built for the PL and live on nothing but hype
The internet is awash with discussions over how overrated Martial is. Dybala is the one who scored over 20 league goals last season and is not benefitting from the arrival of Ronaldo.

Again, no one is calling Martial world class or Ballon d'or material like they are with Dybala. He's never lived up to the hype. His fellow countryman Verratti is another example of a massively overrated player. They are world class on FIFA though
Comparing Dybala and Martial? Why? They don't play same position and doesnt matter if Dybala is better as he wont replace Martial.
Verratti and dybala aren't countrymen. Dybala is Argentinian and verratti is Italian.Again, no one is calling Martial world class or Ballon d'or material like they are with Dybala. This is the type of transfer the Cafe experts will deem "not good enough/not what we need", then Liverpool/Chelsea buy him while being undervalued. He turns out to be the great little player we've all seen and lights up the league, while we continue to play shit like Lingard.
Yeh. He's hard worker while skillful also. What's wrong with some people here.
As long as the price and wage are right, we should be all over him.
Dybala. Is. Better.
Verratti and dybala aren't countrymen. Dybala is Argentinian and verratti is Italian.
Yet his stats are similar to Martials, he's only had 2 good seasons since he joined Juventus
You removed the post but the assists stats comparison does not move me at all. You are free to think what you want about the two players.
There's no point. The fact remains Dybala is more overrated than Martial and he's not lighting up the Italian league. He's 26 now as well and on par with Martial in terms of contribution to his team
Martial has never been anywhere near the heights Dybala has reached. And he looks to be going backwards because he doesn’t give a feck.
Dybala’s poor season on the other hand can at least be explained away.
Ronaldo? The coach not knowing how to use him? What reasons? Martial has outperformed him this season in a mess of a club. I await your explanation.
I mean he may do well but why sign a player who A) has positional issues and B) is going through a terrible phase.
We need to start somewhere, though. And getting Dybala is a very good start. It will make no difference what so ever if we sign him and still have matic lingard mata smalling jones young playing in our team.
Because that is what makes him gettable.
Not that I think he'd be amazing for you, but where united is at you have to start looking at players that are not the complete package and look at the possibilities for how to improve them, rather than look for the finished product everytime (di Maria, Falcao, Schweinsteiger, matic, sanchez).
He's a much more talented player than 99% of players you could get. The question isn't about his poor season, but whether there is something the club can do differently to bring out the best in him.
Ronaldo FC is the clear issue for Dybala, they don't fit and Ronnie prefers the big Croatian to play off. Dybala had 3 good seasons prior to that in terms of output.
Really? I've been lingarded on this then.To be fair Di Maria was at the same age when we signed as Dybala is right now.

He's had 2 good seasons, his first season and last season. He was poor in his second in addition to the current one

It makes sense in a way.Yeah Di Maria was 26 when we signed him. Dybala is 25 and half.
I don't understand you. What having Jones and Young got to do with getting Dybala? It will be a very poor start. Like you are spending your money on a cosmetic surgery fixing your face while you need to have a open heart surgery to secure your health.
He bagged 19 in his 2nd season, only 4 less then his first season, it was still good.
