I would love to see him at the club, but I don’t think he’d fit Mourinho’s tactical setup.

He'd look incredible as either the second striker or in Lingard's role in our current diamond tbh. He can also play in a 4231 as his main role is off the striker.

We need 3 midfielders in the team. Dybala can fit in anywhere ahead of them, but we need 3 in the middle. A right- sided SS, similar to how Alli/Son play would be ideal I think.

The 4231 formation means that Pogba is expected to play a deeper role. He’s far to good a player going forward to waste him in a deeper position.
The best scenario would to play a 433, with Pogba given the licence to do whatever he wants and Dybala as one of the wide forward roles with the licence to drift about.
It won’t happen though as Mourinho seems to favour the awful 4321 setup.

I agree, even could fit in a modified 4231 potentially with Matic being the CDM, Pogba as the LM/CM ahead of him and Dybala ahead of Pogba. And if that’s the case he’s able to play RW I don’t see how José wouldn’t be able to find a fit for him. Simply put he’d be able to play a Griezmann type role where he can play either the #10/SS spot or RW depending on the formation.
José’s most successful formations were arguably the 4231 and 433 which he was famous for with Real Madrid.

Is that too far fetched off or in the realm of possibility? I mean, we were interested in AG last Summer and he plays SS/RW similarly to how Dybala does, and how Ozil did as a #10/RW for Mourinho back in the day. I’m certain if it weren’t for the Atletico ban, Griezmann would be ours and José would play him as he used to played Ozil, either behind the main striker or on the right depending on formation. And since AG to United has sort of faded away, if Dybala is linked I don’t see why José wouldn’t play him in a similar sort of role. Makes sense too since we desperately need a CM and #10/SS + RW, the latter 2 of which a world class player like Dybala/Griezmann would be able to both fulfill.

Unfortunately, Mourinho's favoured modern formation is the 4-2-3-1. 4-3-3 is definitely something he has moved on from as his default formation. In my opinion he views the 4-2-3-1 as the counter to the possession based systems that have popped up in the last 10 years.
His best teams have been the 4-2-3-1. Mourinho has started with a 4-3-3 and switched to a 4-2-3-1 and won major silverware in 3 successive teams. Inter, Madrid, Chelsea.

It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if you managed to get close to €300m for them by shifting them to the EPL or ParisHazard+Dybala+Kane could come up to around €500m total between the three of them. If we can raise some €300m from the BBC it might be doable
Though you’ll probably sell them 1 by 1 over the coming 2-3 years. Makes more sense and it’ll be less expensive. But you’re in for an expensive rebuild over the next 5 years, unless of course your strategy of signing talented youngsters reap its rewards over the coming years.

Kane is simply unattainable, probably even for the Neymar fee.
I think Chelsea wouldn’t sell for anything short of 200m Euros either. And that’s only if Hazard tried to force a move. I would think he is probably ready for a new challenge.

We can probably get away without a LB, at least for another season after this. Jose has apparently been impressed with Shaw recently and Young can do a job there. Unless we go for a world class player, I'd be happy with that. Makes the amount of acquisitions needed a little less daunting.
Its hard to figure out where he should play in these three-up-front times because he looks like a 4-4-2 player, a SS more than a wide striker that can play as winger, like Salah. I use to read that Juventuz site and they have similar opinion in his thread; they are talking about changing his role all the time.

Allegri just said he can't play CF(starting 20 meters from the goal) because he needs to start 50 meters away from goal and could play as a CM(mezzala -in a 3) in an attacking team(like city or barcelona)
Truth be told, he can start from anywhere, the important thing is he's given freedom to roam, play down the middle and generally find his own position on the pitch. If you ask him to stick to a wing/inside channel, you lose a lot of his potential
