Paulo Dybala

I had to read this guys name several times just to make sure it wasn't me being extra dyslexic.

Anyway, for the money that's being bounded about why not just wait to see if he develops than take a huge risk on him coming good.

Has anyone other than Phil Neville seen this guy play and how would you rate him?

Step in the right direction, if we are targeting that style of player.

Looks like somebody who is comfortable "in the channels" which IMO is important for the modern day striker. Rvp and Rooney are more interested in staying in the 6 yard box so we need somebody to work the defensive line more.

He's had a good half besides the goal, he's quick, stronger than he looks and links play well with his skill.

Dybala having Di Maria, Mata, Rooney or Herrera behind him would definitely do some damage to any kind of opponent.

One of the vital signings if the news/rumors are true.

I've not seen him that often, but I knew he was talented. Tonight is the first time I've seen him in a long, long while and I'm very impressed. He's strong, quick, makes smart runs, links up well, drifts in from wide or can run centrally.

It's like everything that Van Gaal is expected from Di Maria upfront.

Sort of player we are crying out for, would be a much better option than falcao in the long run and maybe even in the short term.

He looks small, can he cut it in the premier league? Then again Owen, Aguero, Silva are small and they are/were one of the best in the league.

I'm starting to wonder if there's a case of some smaller players coming here and simply lacking the toughness required to work their way into the PL. I mean today alone Bojan, Perez and Cabella all played well for their teams and the first two have played pretty well for a while now and all 3 are built like 12 year olds, so the excuses for some players are looking a little lame to me right now.

It's been a long time since we have signed a young relaticely unknown player that turns out to be a star. Could this be the guy?

When was the last time we bought a young player who turned out to be a star? Was it De Gea? We really don't do it so much any more.

De Gea is one example. He is imo in the top 5 goalkeppers in the world and quite close to number 1. Ronaldo is the obvious one really.

You would have to say the last one is ronaldo, de gea already had the "hype" around him, ronaldo was relatively unknown when we signed him and I think the only reason he became a target for us is because when players played sporting in a friendly and they were all impressed by ronaldo.

I'd like us to take a punt on this guy just because we need a player just like him.

Anyone see his celebration after his goal yesterday, he signalled a 'call me' sign. Might be mind games to get a bigger price though

Fun thing is, he can play for either Italy, Argentina or Poland... so hopefully we sign him and he turns into new Batistuta / Lewandowsky.

Haven't seen much of him, just a few goals in weekly 'round reviews' but I think Dybala - Wilson could be killing partnership.

We are already struggling to accommodate RVP, Falcao, Rooney and Wilson. Shouldn't we be focusing on a central defender and a right back?

The best days have been and gone for 3 of those 4 and they are too similar so that's why we are struggling to accomodate them, at least 1 of those 3 won't be here next season. We need players in defence clearly but a fast, dynamic forward is also an essential signing and we need to be focusing on every area that needs improving not just the defence.
