We announced Romero at midnight
What sort of times in the evening have we announced signings in the past?

Remember RvP was at around 20.00 cet. What sort of times in the evening have we announced signings in the past?
No smoke without fire. Here's your fire.
Chopper stopped by the Megastore at OT to get this scarf and dropped it off at Carrington for this photo to be taken.
By the time Pogba sings/signs, this thread will hit 1000 easily
But rumours have gone cold in the press. If the signing is imminent, there should be more on this topic, no?

Like for the trooping of the colors? In preparation for the coronation of the Pog? LolWhat if the helicopter is just doing a rehearsal run?
Why would they? Just to appease the muppets?
There are 5 hours, 40 minutes left of today. So much for the announcement today -_- I actually bought it when the Telegraph reported it
I doubt he's even in Manchester lads. I mean do you really believe that? He was only in NYC 24 hours ago!
Regardless of whether he's in Manchester or not, that statement makes absolutely no sense at all. Going from NYC to Manchester takes way less than 24 hours, so when he turns up in Manchester, he will have been in NYC 24hrs ago (assuming he's going straight from there to Manchester)I doubt he's even in Manchester lads. Talk about a buzzkill.Di Marzio just put up an article saying that the final details are being ironed out, while paperwork is completed, to be handed over to Juventus board for final signatures.
Then states that Pogba is still in New York, and is expected back at Juventus facilities (at least i think that's what he means) on sunday, but that he might not go there, and go directly to Manchester instead, due to where the negotiations are.
Sounds like - if we're lucky - the announcement will be made tomorrow, otherwise - considering how Juventus conducts business - we'll have to way until monday.

Schneriderlin was the biggest saga last summer and he made it to Carrington with nobody realising. There is absolutely ZERO chance that Pogba could fly to Manchester on a commercial flight and not have twitter blow up with reports of it. It's one thing for him to get minimal attention flying from Vegas to New York, but flying to Manchester, at least half the plane would know who he is and why he's headed there, not to mention all the people that would see him at the airport after departing the plane.
IF he has flown to Manchester, it had to be a private jet. He posted something on Instagram at 3 or 4am NY time, so while he could have had insomnia, there's certainly a decent chance that he was awake for some other reason (such as being on a plane or arriving in a timezone 5 hours ahead of New York). Hypothetically, if he arrived in England before 7 or 8am, he could probably easily go unseen except by very few, especially if he's flying private.
In fact, if he hasn't already flown in, I'd guess that it will be private to avoid all the attention that him boarding a flight to England would generate.
I knew there was a reason I hated this fecker.Di Marzio

We are pre the prime social media times.maybe, but we are past the prime social media times.
Maybe Pogba is big enough to ignore that stuff

@Carl get your arse to that chopper and find out who was in it!
@Carl Get to Da Choppa!!!
Quite envious of that. I have a good workplace and all but to work next to OT is a bit special. But then again, you do that every day and get used to it.
No offence to Carl, but there's not much else going for that location!
Pretty much says that if everything goes according to plan, Pogba flies straight to Manchester from USA and not Turin.Di Marzio

Pogba to Manchester United, the move is upon us. There is little that remains for an official conclusion to the transfer that has been long and involved between Juventus and United. The last details are on their way to being resolved, and it is due to the extremely large sums involved that have put every last detail under scrutiny. Right now in Turin, Pogba's representatives and legal team are working to finalize all of the paperwork, which would then pass over to Juventus and sporting director Marotta for signature. At that moment, Pogba will be released from obligations with Juventus (including that of his arrival at the team's training, where he would be expected back on Sunday), and could join Manchester directly in New York, where he is currently on vacation.
All the press have been saying it's done. There's no more pushing and pulling over fees, so I'd guess there's not much to report. But all outlets talk about it like it's just a formality now.
What on earth more do you want? Everyone is saying it's a done deal, there's literally nothing left but the official announcement.
Thanks for the translation, that's exactly as I understood with my poor Italian. But isn't it Di Marzio instead of Amoyal?
They clearly have no clue. Or if they do, they gladly just put out bullshit temporarily to get their coverage during low-activity times. How many weeks can it take for the details to be "ironed out"? It's amazing. At least Di Marzio has finally been proven wrong with his 48 hours bullshit.
Di Marzio never said will, he said can or could. How many weeks can it take for the details to be "ironed out"? It's amazing. At least Di Marzio has finally been proven wrong with his 48 hours bullshit.
