Probably because in the summer of Moyes we looked a bit ridiculous and got laughed at.

It's how we've always done it. It was Moyes who had loose lips and thought that linking us with megastars would some how give him kudos.
 
The way this saga went the helicopter may was empty and its only purpose was to lift up the muppets as the've gone pretty quiet in the last few days. :lol:

Is there any particular reason why the Telegraph piece seems to be trying to be funny, whilst enlightening us all with what their 'sources' supposedly know?
 
My money is on any guy getting out of the helicopter being a balidng, overweight 60 year old, trying to add his company to our list of 60+ sponsors. :drool:
 
I don't even feel the need to check this thread anymore, I'm confident it's happening. Too many journalists have "confirmed" it. Yes, if it was 1 or 2, I wouldn't be so confident. But, virtually all of them have put their reputation on the line here and I can't imagine they're all wrong.

That's what's keeping me going anyway.

The deal is done i think. Madrid wouldn't have left it this late with the season only a couple of weeks away. There's not even a sniff of them readying a bid.
 
I was half tempted to call this Pogba day but in reality are we looking at another 48 hours?

Because Ed learned the lesson, the less you open your mouth the better, especially in the transfer market.

I remember during Moyes's summer, everyone and their dog knew everything related to our transfers.

If he flies commercial, there's no way in hell that it's not tweeted a hundred times the second he boards a plane. A good number of people on a plane from NYC to London, Manchester, or anywhere in Europe would recognize him.

But hypothetically if he was flying private and arrived in the early hours, it could easily go unnoticed.

Of course, Juve are headed to London in the next day or two, so even reports of Pogba flying to London wouldn't necessarily confirm anything.

Not to derail this thread, he looked absolutely fantastic in Europe (in particular) the year before we bought him. Clearly an aberration, but the reasons behind the signing were sound. Honestly.
