The excitement has long gone. When this is announced, the feeling will be more of relief.
I can't wait for the football to start and this damned window, shut.
How many weeks holiday did Juve give him?
Morgan and Martial were in the same squad and came back two weeks earlier than Pogba is scheduled.
I think Evra is on holiday with him and those 2 didn't playHow many weeks holiday did Juve give him?

@baanke laalNope. When the whole transfer saga began. As described, I was happy when I heard of it (it being the transfer rumour)
But now... I mean... 100 million for a guy banana-infused-turd hair and a dab diplomacy?
I think that second idea wins! Let's put more money where our mouth isAnd the world's fastest ship trailing the plane because all of that is useless if he has to jump into the Atlantic.
Why don't we have Pogba inside the plane in another plane that will fly out the plane if the bigger plane is going down? We're Man United for feck's sake!
He's trolling the French press, not fans.I'm in absolutely no doubt that he's coming, what's bugging me is he's lording it up on twitter teasing people etc when the season starts very soon and so he's not going to be fit to play until bloody mid September at this rate.
Fair enough he's entitled to a holiday, but for the money involved, both fee and wages, you'd think he'd want to be ready to go from the start of the season.
Great that everything is clear in this threadOh I see...
He is an athlete who played an enormous amount of football last season. The idea that his holiday to recuperate and recover should be cut short so that he can build chemistry with the team is silly and short-sighted.What bothers me is the lack of desire on his (Paul's) part to build team chemistry ASAP.
As we all saw this season, a top 4 spot was ONE game away last season. Fortunately missing the top 4 ended up working in the Reds favor.
This season the Reds can't afford to let a game or two slip away while everyone learns to play together. It's new system, with new players in key spots.
I'm pissed at whomever KNOWS this is going down, but are allowing/causing Paul to not be on the team. Two fricken weeks. The dude should have been on the practice field two weeks ago.

Theres a deal in place that no announcement is to be made until this thread hits 1000 pages. I say you all go on strike because of the powers that be using you lot for their gain.
4 days camping in the new forest and I was expecting get record shirt sales etc with pogba the new face of United?
Any known reason for the holdup as I'm not going through 30 pages if can be avoided.
Maybe they dont want it to overshadow Rooney's testimonial? If not then your guess is as good as anyone else's.4 days camping in the new forest and I was expecting get record shirt sales etc with pogba the new face of United?

Exactly. Its a win-win for me.What reputation.
It's quite a leap to get to a lack of desire from where we are right now. Officially he's still a Juventus player, and until the two clubs have come to an agreement for his transfer, that will remain the case. If, internally, the agreement has been made, it's then up to the club to arrange for the player to travel for his medical and to sign his contract. They may have decided that it's in everyone's best interests to allow him to complete his holiday. It wouldn't exactly be the best start to your new job if your new employer told you to cut your vacation short. What bothers me is the lack of desire on his (Paul's) part to build team chemistry ASAP.
I'm disappointed with you all. I thought we'd be at page 900 by now

This. It's very strange. And I really don't buy all the excuses with Rooney's testimonial, stock market, adidas campaign etc.I'm afraid that I am one of those paranoid people.
So many false dawns.
Every day which goes by, moves the saga in Juve's favour, as we get closer to 31st August.
I've seen many transfers take place, but never seen a transfer where the deal is done, but no announcement. That's the part I find strange.

I agree he should have his holiday. But considering technically our season starts in 6 days, it would have been nice to get him in early so he could play in the Community shield game and also train together and build chemistry with team mates. If it's a done deal let him enjoy his vacation.
Muppets aren't worth to cut short the holiday, a day or two wont make a difference for juve or united.
