Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

Ridiculous amount really. How much would Roy Keane cost today?
Keane cost us 15% of our annual turnover in 1993, assuming a transfer fee of £100m (it might actually be less) Pogba would be costing 19.6% of our expected turnover this year.

Can't believe we are about to sign a box to box, powerful, creative, goal scoring midfielder.

Forgotten what those are like.

While I have some concerns regarding his fee and his discipline to play in a 2 man midfield, in a 3 man midfield in the premier league he'll be ideal.

Anyone think we need more players after Pogba?
I just don't think rooney-schneiderlin-fellani-carrick in our line-up would make us serious contender for the title, especially considering how all the other teams strengthen their side with new players and new manager.

I think we need at least one more fresh young attacking midfielder with bag of potential, strong defender, and defensive midfielder.

2010 called - there's no value in the market. The deal is off

Except none of them will ever play together this season? We added four strong signings. They aint going to squad players just the ones we signed the past three years. They are starters from day one. I think we are okay. I hope we give the likes of Tuanzebe and TFM as much playing time as possible when one of our defenders get injured.

Has a transfer ever been this documented, by this many people, and not gone through?

This whole medical thing stinks. Our club needs to stop being so cheap and just pay for Pogba's return ticket from US to Manchester. Embarrassing. Woody out.
I doubt it's a cost thing. Pogs is living it up in a Miami mansion, hanging with friends and celebs. He's not going to want to take 2 days, much of which would be on a plane (however luxurious) to do business that can be done in a week or two. We shouldn't think that we are paying him so much that he needs to leave his vacation, that would just start the relationship out on the wrong foot.

Having a random doctor in Miami do it, like AS had claimed was cancelled, makes no sense. But I don't see why we wouldn't send our own docs to Miami. There are several elite level sports training sites in Miami (four pro sports teams and one major conference college), which I'm sure we could use for the medical. Hell, the Glazers own the Buccaneers just a four drive (or 1.5 hours in that Lambo....and even less in a jet). They'll have elite level facilities, too. There are tons of ways to give him his medical without making him spend 12 or so hours round trip on a plane.

Yes, but there's a limit on how much we can spend so I think it'll take another season before Rooney, Carrick, and Schneiderlin are replaced.

I think we'll eventually play a 4-3-3 when Mourinho learns how Pogba plays best and builds the team around him. In a 3 man midfield with Pogba and Ibrahimovic, Martial and Mkhitaryan ahead of him we'll be unstoppable.

Depends - to challenge for the P.L title, we should be good enough. To match RM, Bayern and Barca in terms of player for player - I think we are 2-3 quality players short.

The most important thing is that if we sign Pogba we have at least 4 players who will walk into practically, any other team in the P.L - it's been a while since we had that. (DDG, Zlatan, Martial, Pogba and I would say even Smalling is close) - and in addition we have at least 5 players who can be the backbone of United for 10 years to come (Rashford, TFM, Pereira, Shaw, Bailly) - it's hard not to look at the bright side of life.

If I were to pick 3 positions where we are weakest:
RB - Valencia / Darmian are not bad - but they are certainly not world class. Not a major concern though
DM - we have many who should be able to fill this role - but noone has really impressed so far.
LW - Martial will be a striker, Young isn't getting younger, Rashford is better up front and Lingard is a good player but will never be world-class. A quick, skillful winger in addition to Henrikh is missing.
