Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

We have to remember with the fee's that this information is being fed to them by Juve so they will probably be inflated so the fans are less unhappy.

The same happened with Mkhitaryan, all the German media were saying it was a dortmund record £35m, but the club never announced it as a record and then we saw that the fee was in fact £26m.

It will be a record but it will probably be the original £100m all in.

The question in my mind is that's well and good - Raiola is going his 20% of the sale but, United are going to have to stump for it by basically tacking on 20m to the final fee. But, then there is the agent fees - which is separate from the 20% that Raiola is owed from the sale of Pogba by Juve. Say if it was Mendes brokering the deal, he'd get some fee out of it - that still needs to be paid and that seems to me where this deal is being held up because now Raiola is supposed to get yet another amount but, who is supposed to pay that?
What I can get from that is that we have agreed to make Raiola's fees our problem. So, whatever fees or commission Raiola is getting will be paid by us. Out payment to Juve is €110m. So there shouldn't be a problem.

Obviously ITK, ask me anything. Yes, Santa exists. Yes, we are selling Rojo. Yes, Mourinho will flick Pep's ear in the next derby.

If this doesn't happen can we instead feed the muppets by roasting you on a stake and letting them feast on your flesh ?

I might have misread, but doesn't Di Marzio's article say that the next 48 hours will be important, not that it should be completed in 48 hours?

It's through translating the page, so I might be wrong

For what it's worth the Juventuz lot are resigned to losing him after this news. This is the best source we will get.

Di Marzio says its on while Marca have been denying or playing down Pogba mainly, id be surprised if we don't get him.

Haven't been in this thread for almost 300 pages.

2 Questions:

1. How does Di Marzio get his info? Is he being briefed? A source?

2. How come Olly is not posting gifs in here?

I suspect that we will make an agreement with Raiola which will see us not paying the full 20% for the transfer fee cut but will be topped up with a signing on bonus. Something to that effect.

This is why I think people that say Ed is dithering don't get how much is involved to getting this over the line.

Thats what makes this deal so complicated. Its not just the usual two parties arguing, its three. So even if two parties might agree on one issue the third might now. Then two other parties will agree on another issue and the first party may not.

Right and with the amount of the deal - it just makes it that much tougher in the negotiation. The easiest part I think has been done as was reported a while ago - the personal terms between United and Pogba. The whole Real thing doesn't even come into play - even if they waded in, they are going to have just as a hard time getting the deal done because it's never been about Pogba not wanting to come to us.

He'd better not drink/smoke anything because we got a game on the 7th.
He's not playing without any training. Even if he signs next Friday, there's no way we will play him with just a week of training in his legs.

Change the title of the thread two days until pogboom yesssssss pogba is a red :devil::devil::D:drool:

Maybe the Juventus officials are areading Di Marzio tweets and deliberately dragging the talks just to make him look wrong

SUMMARY of the nothingness of last 24 hours for those out of the loop:

- Di Marzio said Raiola and Marotta met in Milan yesterday to close the deal for Pogba to United. Di Marzio maintains Pogba is close to joining United.
- CDS, GdS and La Stampa have all confirmed the meeting did take place with CDS and GDS saying Ed Woodward was in on video call for the meeting
- La Stampa (journalist Nerozzi who is usually reliable on Juve) said the deal is agree and only payment structures are left to negotiate. €100m for Juve. €15m for Raiola
- AS brought out article saying Raiola cancelled a medical in Miami for Pogba. They mentioned the Doctor who was to conduct this medical by name but some twitter muppets tracked down this doctor on twitter and the doctor was clueless as to what this was about. AS was the only one's running the story and it's therefore certified BS by muppets alike
- Zidane came out with an interview where he says nothing of significance really other than saying Madrid would like Pogba. Sky Sports had a dodgy translation which made it seem as if the move is impending but it has since been established that Sky's interpretation was wide off the mark.
- Several muppets keep jumping in the thread with old dissected news and proceed to cull themselves. Famous last words: "Ah feck he's off to Madrid :( "
Thanks, saved 25 pages of reading. Has anything happened since you posted this or basically same story?

I don't believe that release clause talk to be honest. 80mil right?, someone would trigger that now if true imo.

What is it that you don't believe? He has a 100m€ clause and no one is going to trigger it because Griezmann isn't interested.

Please notice how Di Marzio says that it should be done in 48 hours. Same deal all the time with these journalists. I'm not saying it's not happening, but I doubt it will all be done and dusted on Friday. It's the same story all over again, and it surprises me to see all this premature ejaculation time and time again in this thread. People are going to be empty once/if this finally happens. But until we hear something from one of the clubs, from the BBC or at least something absolutely definitive, without any ifs, from Di Marzio, let's save some of our juices.

Advanced negotiations with Raiola, Pogba waiting for the green light for his medical. No bid from Madrid.

Every source is saying two days till pogba now this has been briefed and it's done change the thread title please!!!
