There's confidence and then their is stupidly. Obviously we can't presume something so difficult, having not even kicked a football yet.

When an owner invests so much money in a business, he will expect results.
No owner invests so heavily and accepts 3rd or 4th place. That was LVGs problem. He spent huge amounts of cash for average results. The owners fired him.

Expecting fantastic results is not stupidity. All business investors make decisions based on ROI (unless its a pet project). The Glazers are expecting results and this will not be a secret - Jose will know this.

Aren't La Stampa & Gaz Del Sport the guys who said Vidal to United was a done deal?

Apart from Di Marizo saying we've met and made an offer which Juve will likely counter, have any other reputable sources said any more?

There was this journo who is reputable when it comes to Juve stuff. I forgot his name. Apparently Hurst from The Times is reputable and he mentioned something on this matter.

Can't sleep... Woody you need to get this done.. I am loosing sleep here. Better get this done.

He will be worth it, if the money does not go to his head. The complete midfield; only lacking the capability to dictate the flow of a game.

This will though raise the question at whether we are a galacticos or that Mourinho buy his way to success. Not that it will matter if we win the title at the end of the season.

We didnt wait for Pogba. We werent in for Pogba at that point. We had LVG in charge still didnt we? The papers say LVG said no to him. Sanches says he rejected us and went to Bayern.

It might be the other way around. LVG wanted Sanches, but after we decided to sack him, Jose wasn't interested and wanted Pogba.

Well these tea leaves might be carrying some salt because they're enough to cause the lads over at juventuz to go into full meltdown. They're not laughing anymore. Some of them are even defending Raiola and turning on Pogba because they too are starting to believe that he wants to go.

A metaphor which turns on the melting point of water being lowered by the presence of impurities! Amazing what you read on the Cafe these days.

It depends on which journalist but yes, La Stampa were spouting BS about Vidal.

The club will expect Top 4 this season, the title will be a bonus. Next season they will expect a title challenge/win for sure but the most imortant thing for the club this season is getting back in the Champs League.
There are like 5 or 6 clubs who will believe they have a realistic chance of the title this season, how many other top leagues can say that. Winning the title would still be hard this season even if SAF was still here.
In fact after Leicester last season, there will be 20 teams thinking they have a chance of the title this season.

I have a feeling that Pogba prefers a move to Real but they won't meet Juve's demands. The one pushing Pogba for a return to us is Raiola and that is mostly due to his own interests. Depending on how this plays out, this could become di Maria 2.0, which is why I'm hesitant regarding a move at all costs for him.

Yes be hesistant. Keep thinking that way. This has also been explained 100 times on how its nothing like Di maria.

Di Maria was being forced out of Madrid , Pogba is forcing his way out of Juve..... do you see a difference ?

I reckon he'll be unveiled friday, in the new shirt just in time for it to go on sale on saturday

My bdragon balls are out a and someone is clinching them tight Pogba is close as my erectimus maximus is getting harder.

We really needed to create a doomsday clock to demonstrate how close we are to signing him.

#The United Merchandising/Marketing Directors dream scenario that. But even if he unveiled on friday, he wont have a number. Having said that, number 6 is available...

Andreas can be that player who does the dictating the caf so loves.

I've been playing it cool over this link, and I'm still not totally convinced. Just can't see Juve bending over without making it very very difficult for us. And I can't see Pogba pushing hard for the move either.

Have to say the Di Marzio stuff has me cautiously optimistic.

If we get him, I'm hoping he plays in an advanced midfield role in a 4-3-3. He's the sort of player who, as he gets older, I could see moving deeper and dictating more like Scholes did. He's got the skill-set for it, imo, but right now I think he's better further up the pitch.

They cant make it hard when are willing to offer 100m for him. Pogba has pushed for a move today. All the Italian media outlets are reporting it along with Dimarzio.

Aren't all the Italian outlets confirming Pogba has requested to leave? Also its in Juve's interest to get the inevitable done early, so they can bring their targets in. Still have Higuain to pursue amongst others.

We all talk about this being to much money etc but if we where to sign this young lad tell me this. Except Dea Gea who else would walk into any club in the world that we have?? I don't think anybody Pogba is that type of player and you have to pay these sorts of fee's Bale,Neymar etc where all along the same lines were doing what big clubs do and that's fine by me!
