He could have just come out and said I'm staying at Juve or Juve themselves could have said Pogba isn't leaving, done delio this. Also the silence in this saga makes me thing its done, if it wasn't, surely Mou would have started pursuing other targets, given he wants to get things over quickly.
Wouldn't help his case in getting a new bumper contract though.

having seen the real quotes it is obvious he is coming here. We are in with a big chance.

It can easily be interpreted as him looking for a new contract too.

Why would he have to look for a new contract? It was rumored that Juventus wanted to offer him an extention...but why not? He's got 3 years left. This is the obvious time, so I don't think Pogba would have to look for a new contract.

This thread is hilarious, has it all. Only need a signed ball now

If he does not join us, some of you may need to see a medical professional.
I wasn't around at the time of the Wesley Sneijder thread, but I can't believe it was as bad as this.
Sniejder and Vidal were worse because it was unanimously accepted they were both world class talents that would immediately improve our gaping hole in midfield, so the fallout was more epic.

Not everyone seems to be convinced on spending a huge amount of Pogba, so I wager there'd be less muppet suicides than the aforementioned two sagas.

Yes, but his reluctance to move out a rule coupled with the fact they are has been no news about us pursuing other targets makes me think he's OT bound. Also most of the high profile reporters are saying he's coming. I'm positive we'll see him in a United top next season

I swear you've been saying he hasn't been coming from the start, so how are you beyond caring now lol.

Quote me where I've said that? There's plenty of *Martial* names on here, i think you have me confused :) - dammit there's another post wasted :(

Let's not forget the Thiago saga. Muppet suicide rate went up 170%.

Or he is happy in Juventus but wants to earn as much as a grade A commercial entity does in football. The best way to engineer that is threaten to leave a la Rooney.

If I was Pogba right now, i'm be asking why i'm not being respected for my Juventus form rather then what happened at the Euros? He can stay in Serie A but the only good thing Juventus have for them currently is the Champions League. We're in worse shape but we're making positive changes so am optimistic.

I am just offering a different and possibly legitimate interpretations of developments.

Much worse

Revenge is very strong motivator.

All of Zlatan, Pogba and Raiola has a point to prove by being part of Mourinho's project.

Zlatan has never been fully appreciated in England. Pundits, media and many supporters doubt his ability to succeed in the PL. This is his last chance, his last mission. A challange like this is something a true warrior like Ibra never will resist. Succeed with United and his carrier is completed.

Paul Pogba probably don't have any bad feeling against Sir Alex. But the threatment he got from he old man can still hurt for a young ambitious man. Now he have a great opportunity to came back as the golden boy, the savior, in a new project together with a new manager. That could be, off course, together with tons of money, motivator enough to leave Juve. Maybe being recognized as a world class player by United (and Sir Alex) restore a little bit of his his pride.

Sir Alex called Mino Raiola the worst agent he ever have dealed with. Even if you're successful that line hurts. Being labeled with so much bad words by the Godfather of football probably have a huge impact on your ego. After all even Raiola is human being and his job is to look after his clients. Suddenly he's part of two, maybe three, mega transfers where his clients join United. That's means a lot, from his perspective it's a huge revenge.

I have read tho book about Zlatan and both him and Mino are similar personalities. They both had to fight to be something. They both think highly of themselves, have huge egos but deep deep down inside them you can see two insecure characters who tries to survive in a cruel world. Zlatan talks with pride about his father, his background, his shortcomings and his family. Mino Raiola does the same. They are both two simple men (in positive way) who tries to do the best of their talents.

I can be totally wrong but I think pride, revenge and hunger to prove your doubters wrong is a huge factor when you take big decisions. That's my take on these things.

Can Juventus afford anywhere near the rumoured £250,000 after tax that we're offering in wages?

Pogba is really milking the attention but it doesn't seem like he is that keen on United. If it was Madrid in the driving seat he would have been dropping hints in the press already

Worst transfer window ever.

Oh dear god, it was just terrible. Awful summer altogether, Fergie left, we brought in fecking Moyes, were linked with quality players all summer and ended up with Fellaini on deadline day. Grim.

What? He's been at the Euro's the majority of the time. The only comment we've seen from him was last night when the presenters shoved 3 shirts under his nose, which he handled very professionally.

He's hardly milking it. There are clearly negotiations going on and he's simply following transfer target protocol to a tee, just as most other footballers would.

You can't know that for sure, I think he is trying to remain as respectful to Juve as possible. De Gea wanted to go to Madrid but wasn't dropping hints to the press everywhere and kept a dignified silence.

Juve have signed Benatia, Pjanic and apparently want Gabigol and Matic too. Somehow they've suddenly got a big pot of cash from somewhere:boring:

Do we even know the two clubs are negotiating? Where's Woodward? Still in da club? Damn it, Woody!

This got debunked by @JuveGER I think, they're currently spending well within their means.

Not only that, Moyes managed to miss the deadline to sign Fellaini and his release clause went up so we had to pay £5m more....to sign Fellaini.
What the feck was SAF thinking when he picked Moyes I will never know

Anyways back on topic, I think Pogba is already ours and we are just putting the finishing touches on the deal.
