so basically, a moronic reporter thought he could get some kind of scoop by putting pogba on the spot. Pogba handled it like a pro and basically said nothing, and Juve fans think this is "confirmation" that he's staying :lol::lol::wenger:

Well one thing for sure it will drag along.

Hope we have either something conclusive before the end of the month or at least have a backup plan if this goes tits up.

Understandably so. Any conversation to be had on his future is with Juve, and not at some live interview.

So pretty much nothing has changed from yesterday.

Yes they do. They have a huge debt. Do you know the club can be bought for around 260M? 100M is massive money to them. Don't see them saying no to that. They are a selling club.

I don't think we'll sign him.

However, its not because of that video of his saying Juve his is family and wants to stay is about the most obvious response to a question on his future you can expect. He's not going to come out there and then and say he wants to move. He's under contract with Juve at this time and thats his team. Basic response to a silly question.

his response from what I got from it means negotiations are far from over and he's covering his grounds in case of whatever happens. I am still confident our team will get it done. But it's probably not as done delio as media has suggested.
 
We need a resident caf member to approach him with a United shirt and see if he signs it...

Very diplomatic. Now that we get the full picture, i really don't like these opportunistic journos/media types trying to put them on the spot. Did he really think he was going to get the scoop of the transfer window by laying three shirts in-front of him?

Anyway, juve fans trolling again, unsurprising that they were BS'ing. We are basically where we were yesterday after Raiola's comments.
 
Simple question is...why didn't he just pick up the Juve shirt if he's staying?

I think it's almost obvious we have an "deal in principle" in place with Raiola. However it's all about Juve.

Having found another video, when Pogba is handed the Manchester United shirt, he says it was his “first family” and then when asked if they telephoned would he return, he’s very noncommittal and goes on to say “I don’t know, we’ll see, we’ll see”.

When asked which of the shirts he wanted for next season, Pogba said “I’ll take all three.”

As you say, very vague, very diplomatic.

Its clear we are in for him and it's clear that Juve will either sell him for the right price or give him a big fat new contract so it makes sense for him to keep all options open for a strong negotiation hand.
 
He could have just come out and said I'm staying at Juve or Juve themselves could have said Pogba isn't leaving, done delio this. Also the silence in this saga makes me thing its done, if it wasn't, surely Mou would have started pursuing other targets, given he wants to get things over quickly.

He didn't though. It's like when we all knew Ronny was off with his "Only God knows" rubbish. He knew was off to Real but didn't want to disrespect us.

This is so on. Too many factors point to him moving to us rather than staying at Juventus, put it that way.
 
having seen the real quotes it is obvious he is coming here. We are in with a big chance.

Pogba may well be indifferent to a move. Its more likely he'd move if the offer was accepted, and would happily stay if it wasn't. Its more comparable to Beckham's quotes when he originally left United, saying that he'll only leave if United want him to.

Ronaldo likened his last year at United to a slave. He wanted Real, badly, and it showed.

Don't be. The one or two times he was allowed to go foward, he put two great balls in the box and scored from a corner. He's played the role with discipline but that's like putting a great painting in the toilet.
