Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

If the supposed agent fees are accurate its a pisstake of a transfer (if it wasn't one already). He's not that fecking good and there are other midfielders out there that we can make work in a title winning squad.

I know you're just trying to be clever/witty but Pogba is not worth £100 m end of, and non of the players I listed are either, A real game changer and goal scorer maybe is, but we are not in the market for one of those.
Nah, I'm really not. You've obviously got a life so haven't seen this argument being played out a few times in this thread. Fwiw I agree with you, he's not worth anything like the figures quoted. Then again, it's not my money. Or something.

Did you expect this to be done by Monday lunchtime?
No, but you asked what's changed in regard to his potential move to United. Yesterday it seemed extremely likely it'd happen - whether that's by Monday or in 4 weeks. Today his own agent has come out and said he could stay given the right contract. That's clearly a slight knock-back.

Raiola also said Ibra has offers from a lot of clubs and he might not go to Manchester United when it was looking certain.

He's a WUM honestly. It changes nothing.

Juventus have to fight for Pogba. They can't let him go willingly if they decide to sell.

No it isn't. You just perceive it as one. I don't know if we'll get him, but I know if you are a club and you get given money..you don't announce you've got money. That devalues the money you get because other clubs start asking more. His agent is part of the 'game'. Nothings changed, people just think things have changed because they forget Juventus or any club has to look after their own interests..

I'm convinced its not.

We've done a lot of work with Raiola this summer and I imagine this is some sort of combined fee for signing three of his players or perhaps he part owns Pogba. But 30% agent fees is likely bollocks.

Most reports are saying he's getting a good 20mil tho aren't they?

Bored of this tired cliché about 'controlling games' - not every midfielder is Xavi and not every midfielder has to be.

Pogba at 23's a physical monster that can pass, shoot, tackle and win games on his own and has been doing it at top-level for club & country for 4 seasons. What more do you want?

Agree. I'm not sure either. I think rather than the barometer be looking through the window of the euro's, they should look beyond that. After all, just based on the Euros you'd wonder what this lad Kane was about, and Martial couldn't get on the pitch in front of a bloke who plays in the Mexico league......yet we know cause we see them weekly that they are superb young players.

If its a final installment for signing three of his players then I don't think we can complain, nor can we complain if he part owns Pogba.

I don't remember a mention of agent fee when signing Ibra and Mak so I'm hoping its a combined agent fee or I'm going to be pissed too.

Its funny how the forum has been losing losing its collective titts for the past four years about how we let him go. Now that we are trying re-sign him, half the posters no longer want him. I don't mean for the financial reasons, based purely on ability. He was called the french tom cleverley earlier today.

If you have a clingy ex girlfriend offering you £300k a week to go back to her, do so you damned fool. Especially if she's in the top 10 most attractive girlfriends around. #analogytortured
Not really because it doesn't how much money she offers, you don't really want her back and she seems too desperate.

But what if Rooney's waiting in bed back home?

Good lord, let's hope that was a pisstake.

For a lot of United fans (and opposition fans) on here the Euros will be one of the only times they've watched him over a full 90 minutes.

It's pretty obvious when you hear some of the garbage they come out with - sideways/backwards passer; doesn't do enough in matches; looks disinterested; doesn't have fight.

Anyone who's even half paid attention to his career knows that stuff is a steaming load of shite. But it's very easy to roll out after watching a couple of games for France and suddenly being a Pogba expert.

Yeah. Conversely I remember a World Cup when Nicky Butt looked an absolutely top drawer world class central midfielder. Can't remember which year that was.

"Everything can happen with Pogba..."

Mino is driving the price up, which means he gets an even bigger cut, the fat fecker.

I get why some wouldn't watch Serie A, but you'd think when a manager like Jose sanctions a 100 million pound bid (or whatever the figure is), then people who have seen him for a total of 7 games would not be so strongly opinionated.

Juve can't match the salary we can. I can't see Pogba staying on a third of the wage.
