Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

Well, Di Marzio is saying they want to keep him.
Hope we end our interest at first signpht of him dilly dallying.

You can't just read and accept the good ones regardless of sources and ignore the bad ones. If we are using only reliable sources nothing has happened. Semi-reasonable sources we are interested but juve and him haven't agreed, Nonsense sources- hes coming home or not

Nope, Di Marzio said he'd agreed personal terms.

Thing is Mourinho and zlatan were pretty obvious for a long time. Anyone could jump in on that bandwagon.

Yeah 100% but you know with each one when there were those delays and we were all losing our shit, he was telling me it was all good. Like I say I've resisted posting anything as it could be him winding me up, he doesn't try hard at being ITK though and post shit everywhere about it, I'm more confident than I was this morning purely on his say so, I don't expect other people to have the same amount of faith though, if he's wrong I promise to punch him hard on the arm and call him a twat when I see him

Sorry Pogba is no way near Bale at the moment. Maybe in the future, but not now. Bale is one of the top 5 players in the world.
Wouldn't agree with that at all. Who is he in front out of Neymar, Messi, Suarez, Ronaldo, Busquets, Modric, Muller, Iniesta, Neuer, Lewandowski, Aguero?

I'm not too bothered about whether this comes off or not. If Juve can resist a £100m+ bid and convince him to stay then fair play to them. If they do, it's for one of a couple of reasons: 1) they really think they're in a position to challenge for the CL and they see him as key; or 2) they think they can get more for him in a couple of years.

I'd say that 1) is the more likely, and I can't begrudge that. At least Juve don't view themselves as a feeder club and have some ambition. I don't think they'll get more than another season or two out of him (as he wants to play for one of the 'big' clubs, and while Juve are historically big they aren't money-spinners like us, Real or Barca). If he does leave in a couple of years I honestly don't see them getting more than we're willing to offer, which is well over the odds anyway.

I think that essentially it's just United in for him and this doesn't suit anyone apart from United so the agent is trying to calm things down

There's no way Juve can match us when offering him a new wage.

Juve also need the money, they are 200m in debt which is rising I think each year. They aren't the same marketing machine as United.

Pogba is their highest earner with 4.5m EUR per year. The next one is at 4m. We can easily triple that.

I don't think Juve will refuse a deal near 100m pounds (even EUR) that's huge money for them - about half their debt.
We definitely can't. Italian puts the salaries after taxes. We can't easily pay Pogba 13.5m after taxes.

Even if we go full muppet and we give to him the Rooney salary (300k pounds or so), it will be 'just' 10m euros net.

The frustrating thing is I can easily seeing him go to Madrid in a season or two for £60million.
He will either sign for Juve, or come here. Neither scenario sends him to Madrid for 60m in a season or two.

Juve aren't fools. They won't let Pogba go into the final two years of his contract.

That's all he's said. Basically each time I've discussed things with him previously he's called it right, told me to keep calm about Mourinho and Zlatan as they were done deals, just said Pog has been agreed, I've never pushed him on things as I tend not to post ITK stuff in case he was winding me up but he's been bang on so far
What are his ITK connections? Is he someone who works for the club or is close to someone who does? You can ignore the question, in case you do not want to divulge more information.

I really don't want to here something about how Pogba is now off on his hols and we'll hear his decision in two weeks when he returns.

Isn't Rooney on 250k after tax? That's 12m pounds net, or north of 14m EUR after taxes. All in all we need to offer him below what Rooney is earning now.

As in I can see him signing for Juve, only to leave for Madrid in a couple of seasons, for much less than £100million.

We can't have this being a drawn out saga, even Mourinho won't have that.

I can see him signing a new contract with a £70m release clause to Madrid
Give us one or two more years and we will let you go at a discount price.
Happened wi many players.

Fair enough. We just have to wait and see.

I don't know, I've never asked as I've never posted anything supposedly ITK before so not felt the need to qualify his credentials. He's a mate so he wouldn't (I don't think) make shit up to try and impress me and he doesn't even know I'm on here or anything so don't think he'd do it to WUM the forum either. He has loosely mentioned relatives working at the club in the past but I've never pushed him on it as half the people I've met in Manchester apparently have a connection to the club

Surprised to see Thiago not in top 3. Did it not linger long enough for the muppets to go ape$hit on his thread?

I think Rooney's wage is before taxes. Never read anything that suggests it is after taxes. If so, then that is above Ronaldo/Messi, right?

Typically in England the salaries are reported before taxes, while in Italy after taxes. Which make Pogba's numbers look low (like Darmian), despite that it is near twice as high.

I think that if we get Pogba, he will get at least 200k/week pounds before taxes.

Pogba is young and his value won't drop. Juve won't sell him cheap. He will go - be now or next season - for 100m+.

Give us one or two more years and we will let you go at a doiscount price.

or swap with De Gea when God retires :)

Speculation, but I doubt it. Juve needs as much money as they can get, if they want to fight with the top dogs. They won't refuse 100m now, to only sell him for 70m next year.

I think that Juve is just acting like this, in order to get his price as high as possible. But in the end they will sell, providing that we will offer 120m euros.

'God is dead, long live the God'.

It won't ever happen. You can choose between Rooney and Fellaini instead. Heck, we might even throw some extra money if you agree to get them.

If they tried to have an auction for Pogba, they just failed. The price wont go any higher than 100m because no one is willing to offer more than that and they would be fools to reject that kind of money.

How do the latest quotes by Raiola change anthing? It stands to reason that Juventus wants to keep him. It was always going to come down to coming up with a figure Juventus would accept and it could be that they won't sell regardless of the price. The only thing that could force Juventus hand is if Pogba puts in a transfer request and even that might not matter to Juventus.

Reports are saying that we will offer 120m euros. That is pretty much more than what people were saying he will go for. All the talk a few months ago were about him going for 80-100m. Heck, didn't Marota said some time ago that 'if Pogba is worth 100m, then how much is Dybala worth'.

Yes thats 100m pounds. That is the limit.

What was the total for Vidal out of curiosity?

United won't tied up 100 million unless they know they have him.

If Juve says "We'll need 2 weeks to put together our new contract with Pogba...offer it to him and see what he says"... Pogba will stay a Juve.

Hell...doesn't preseason football start this Saturday?

Never. Rather you keep your Pogba. Do you think Juve would be willing to break their wage structure to keep him?

juve are very healthy financially. What they want is to win the CL. I think they will be willing to take a £20/£30m hit to do that.
