Agreed! It would be very short-sighted of a player to turn United down for that reason. Still really irks me, that "must be playing CL football" line but that's the way it is now I guess.

I understand why you would say any of those, but why pick a player in a position we're actually well stocked in? Of course both of them would be an upgrade, but is it in the attacking line we really need this upgrade?
Pogba is, at least in my book, arguably the best in the world in his position, and it's excatctly that position I would want us to strengthen. And on top of that he's only 23 years old!
 
they are quite deluded to think the Premier League is the best league still, or that it is even better than Serie A. it was the best at some point, between 05 and 10, but clearly not anymore. this Juventus would walk over any team from that league if they met, and thats not because they would be tired of playing Stoke City the weekend before. teams have no structure, they play some crazily stupid brand of football, their tactical level is that of a Serie C club. they keep attracting great international players due to having the most money, but they still fail miserably in Europe each year. La Liga is clearly the strongest league currently, followed by Serie A and BL, only then comes EPL and Ligue 1. those are facts and as soon as they accept it, they will live happier lives

If Real Madrid where in for Mkhitaryan, Bailly or Zlatan the chances are that they would like to play for Real. DDG wants to play for them. If you asked most players in the world they would want to play for them. So you are saying we shouldn't sign and players that want to play for them so just buy average one that will never have the ability to?

Serie A is soooo shit, man. It makes Mohammed Salah look like a quality player, when he was dross at Chelsea. And Cuadrado? He couldn't do shit.

Look how shit Pogba looks outside that shit League at the Euros. Bang average. Even the Welsh Xavi outperformed him. Not to mention Lionel Alli.

Not all kids ”choose” their league; favourite players in WC/Euros, family background, players from your own nation, random moments in football history etc. can make a difference in becoming a fan of a club and/or league.
 
dont know why they are being so pissy. They could buy another ten league titles with what we are offering.
 
Juventus is a great team tbf. In world football, they are a team that many people know. They remind me a lot of Rosenborg in Norway.

Wouldn't Pogba be a lot easier to get than Kroos? The former has history and ties to the club and area whilst the latter has history and ties with the head of our nearest enemy.

It's not Pogba, it's France. When Griezmann can't play a simple 5 yard pass how is Pogba supposed to dominate a game? You'll notice the aforementioned Griezmnann, Payet etc all are playing absolute shit at the moment too.

Griezmann can't influence Pogba's display. I watch him today and he's not taking enough influence or responsibility. This has always been my main issue with him

You miss my point, how do you 'dominate' a game when no one else in the team can do anything right? What's he supposed to do so with the ball exactly? What he is supposed to when no one seems capable of passing it to him?
 
Only a real game changer and ridiculously good goal scorer should be worth anything like that amount, Pogba is fantastic at times but he's neither of those really, still want him though but shame it can't be for a bit less.
 
Pogba looks good because of Serie A. He's average at best.

My feelings exactly. I want him here but he's worth nowhere close to that amount and it's not just because of money, it's because he isn't as good as he's made out to be. I'd also add CMs that absolutely run games to that list btw. The Modrics of this world.

Because he's a player who can actually change a game by himself, thats why someone like that or a Suarez etc are worth the top dollar amounts we're trying to give Juventus, Pogba hasn't shown he's capeable of it.
