For a French guy - his English is actually quite good. If you compare him to someone like Evra, Henry etc

You can smell the fear from the rest of the league. You can hear their knees knocking together as they mumble through clenched teeth, "He's not worth the money. It's a sad day for football. United have returned."

We say, "Ney!" And we dance and sing. "Prince Pogba is back, soon to be our King."

Red sky in morning, neighbours take warning. Red sky at night, neighbours take flight.

I'd sort of expect that since he spent 3-4 years here during his formative years

They announce it MINUTES after I give up and go to bed. Bastards.

But I'm sitting here tingling now. We signed Paul Fecking Pogba! Get in!!

His accent is actually relatively English but if you factor in that he was living in Manchester from a young impressionable age for 3 years i think that has a big effect. Others such as the ones you mentioned were slightly older when they came to England and so kept their strong french accent.

He's one of our own
He's one of our own
That man Paul Pogba
He's just been on loan

I'm in full muppet mode!!
I've been leashing my inner muppet for weeks and now it's finally time to release it.

OMG what a window, what a signing, what an amazing time to come!

What news to wake up to. Cannot believe it was announced so late.

The picture with Pogba wearing our new kit may need to be reported. Its definitely pornographic material.

So basically we paid Juve 90 odd mil to train him up into the worlds best and most marketable young player, and avoid him being ruined by Moyes and LVG?

Best bargain of recent history I'd say

Seems like such a nice guy in that interview. Welcome back Paul! This squad has needed an injection of star power for years, im excited.

I know it's already been posted but THIS has to be the post of this saga (despite the official announcement of course).:lol:

I have never been more proud to be a caftard. The Muppets prevailed.

The true heroes of this saga though are Pogba's Mum and the Laundry Ladies.

Two usernames just waiting for someone!

I can't believe they announced it in the night when I'd given up and gone to bed. WTF United.

Incredible signing though. Young, one of the best in the World, in just the position we neglected for so many years. Quite a statement aswell for the club and League to break the transfer record and beat Real to their target. Just think last season Pogba could easily have been at Barca and De Gea gone to Madrid.

Great news to wake up to. He sounds so excited to be back. Love it!!

Great news to wake up to. We've basically signed the best player in 3 of the top 5 leagues in one summer.

And feck that prick Tancredi with his #145 nonsense.

With his language skills, Pogba might be able to make Bailly feel even more comfortable as well as help Darmian to become further integrated. He might even teach Rooney some English. The "French section" getting as big as the Spanish one.

Ohhhh what a story to wake up to, absolutely buzzing I'm going to work a happy man today

Any normal kit picture yet? When is part 2 of the interview?

Damn these trailers, we've turned into Hollywood!

He looked genuinely so pleased to be back. Smiling in the photos and he couldn't stop smiling during the interview!

This is where he wants to be.

I can't find the words to properly explain how I feel about this transfer, so I'll let the expert users of the BBC site do it for me;

"Finally got their 7 goal a season man. A steal at £89m."
"Not good enough to play for Barcelona or Real, so he signs for Man Utd. Overrated player."
"£89million for someone who looked just above average in the shambles of Italian football. BAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Joke of a club."
"You can get 356 million Fredo bars for that. That's a million a day for a year. As the population of Iceland is less than Leicester (as the BBC would not stop telling us during the Euros), you could keep Iceland alive on Fredos for a year for the price of Paul Pogba.

But I guess for Man Utd signing Pogba was probably a priority over force-feeding Fredos to the population of Iceland for a year."
