Lindelof shouldn’t be out a Left Back. Shaw should close the crosser. Maguire should drop further to try to be in line with the cross. Fred as usual has attempted & failed a tackle meaning he’s out of position to actually help & McT when covering for Lindelof needs to be far more aware of Passaic.

There are a number of issues with the first goal, you’re correct McT drops but after checking over his shoulder approaching the box he does nothing else, Palasic ghosts in behind him with no real effort.

His role is to provide legs & be defensively alert, I just don’t see it with him.
 
Unless we play a Matic, Pogba, and VDB midfield we won't be controlling games any time soon. It's going to be a long ride folks, no easy solutions here. McFred has never been and will never be the solution.

Kinda agree with this.

Pogba alongside anyone doesn't work. Pogba is an atrocious DM in a 2.

McFred is not good enough, they're basically 2 players that do the role of 1.

Donny doesnt play

Matic cant run.

Unless we change formation or actually try and play Donny, our central midfield will rumble on being disjointed and full of flaws.

Fred is the only central midfield player for me with any credit, and he's more suited to an 8 than a 6. He has much more to give than a holding player. He wasn't a holder for Shakhtar, he is not a holder for Brazil. We are using him as a DM as we have no other options, but it's not his best role.

Pogba for me, cannot play DM for us. We always fair worse.

Fred and Donny have to be given a chance. Pogba can be used as a sub/impact from the left. Issue is there he'd be third choice LW behind Rashford and Sancho - who are actually attacking players.

It doesnt matter which pair we play, we're leaving them on a island and hoping they can cover more people in that area. We have to play a 3 at some point.
 
And no point starting him if it makes the team not balanced as well. Especially, if he is not going to extend with us.

I hope that’s the last time he appears for the club. Wont use the words I used when he got the red but I think the best thing to do is sell him in January and bring this to an end.

Utter dross. At least he’s banned for a few games so his price tag doesn’t dictate his place in the squad.

If Ole is staying, please don't renew his contract. If Ten Hag, Zidane, Enrique is coming, renew it, any other case, I'm indifferent.
 
I’m one of the biggest Pogba ‘defendants’ on this board but even I can’t justify that tackle.

This said, the game was gone by that point & that first half was actually somehow worse than Wednesday.
 
The game was over. It was a stupid tackle and one that was mainly down to frustration. Week in week out he is abuse by a old dinosaur on Sky ,the media and United fans online for the mess we are in so it's not surprising he gets frustrated.
 
This guy is done with Ole. He doesn't want to play for him again and it's obvious.
 
He's a coward.

Today isn't on him, Ole is a terrible manager that has lost the players and needs to be sacked, but he's still a cnut that left his team mates to play on a man down at 0-5 against a vastly superior team.

He's gone in the summer.
 
Say what you will about Pogba's consistency, he's been absolute mint at consistently being the scapegoat for many of United's woes. How shocked some are going to be when he's gone and the problems won't go with him.
 
He’s been tackling like that all season. There were warnings so I can only assume he’s been after a red card for whatever reason.
