The early booking didn’t help him, he looked reserved which is understandable. That’s probably a good game to get under his belt for fitness.
I don't think that was Paul's best game but, to be fair to him, he's only just started playing again after months out. I doubt flying out to Western Asia during the international break has helped his form. I'm sure he'll improve with more minutes.
Considering how viciously you shat on Fred after he actually played well at the weekend, I’m going to have to assume this post is sarcastic.
Vicious?
Anyway.
Fred did not play well against Brighton. That simply reflects his quality as a player.
Pogba did not play well tonight. That simply reflects his lack of football recently.
1 good game in 4 seems about right, but in those 3 remaining there is at least one pretty bad. Some of his problems are related to fitness rather than actual quality, but it doesn't change the fact he's a bit meh. I've been saying this for over a year, we should cash in on Pogba. It won't be that big of a deal to "replace*" him and we can get decent money. What does everyone reckon his ratio of good to poor/average games has been in his time here? One in five? Maybe one in three, at most?
Considering he’s one of only a handful of players at a peak age, is our most expensive signing and presumably on one of the highest salaries that simply isn’t good enough, right?

Rhetorical all the way, there mate!? Yes, it’s not good enough, and overall he makes the team play worse as he demands the ball and takes forever on it. Brilliant at his best, but ultimately he is far too inconsistent. What does everyone reckon his ratio of good to poor/average games has been in his time here? One in five? Maybe one in three, at most?

YepHe wasn't even that bad today?
Yeah, he’s the poster to worry about. Pogba was poor today and is generally wildly inconsistent.feckin hell. He’s at it again. State of this poster. Ignores December, January,February and jumps straight in when Pogba comes back from injury. To be fair he’s only been decent against Brighton and Granada and not brilliant but hey let’s stay silent for the Milan game and for three months previous when he carried us. Pathetic

*I don't think he is a key element to this team that needs replacement. We just need another midfielder if Pogba's gone.

Talk me through his career at United and tell me he’s not inconsistent? He can be absolutely brilliant, and you think he’s found his form only to be terrible for the next three, then probably injured. His streaks of good form are not worth it.Talk me through game by game from December to his injury....then talk me through any other player you care to mention over a similar timeframe
so much wrong with that post...
So you refuse to acknowledge his last three months of performance and jump on games where he’s just back from injury and is fine,if not great. That’s fine. I’ve no interest in continuing the conversation as you are clearly in a boat with the other poster.Talk me through his career at United and tell me he’s not inconsistent? His time here is of the best of any player in that period. Bruno’s stats outweigh Pogba’s. His performances are worse.
Bruno’s up and down.If Pogba had Bruno’s desire and application he’d probably be the best player in the league but he’s up and down. I think that’s what makes Bruno is a better player and I would always pick him over Pogba if we had to pick one to keep. Bruno is captain material. Pogba is a wildcard.
Exactly.
Just need to add in something about the interminable fecking quest to find a tweak to his position which will unleash the inner superstar (spoiler: there isn’t one) and you’ve summed up his career at United perfectly.
I think he’s had some good games, a couple of great ones but not all good in those three months. In his time at United he has been far from our best or most important player. DDG is overall the best, even considering his average form these last couple of seasons. Bruno has a much higher impact, offers more and is more consistent over a season. So you refuse to acknowledge his last three months of performance and jump on games where he’s just back from injury and is fine,if not great. Not in terms of work rate nor much in terms of output.Bruno’s up and down.
We just need four new defenders, two new midfielders and a couple of attackers to let Pogba shine! It’s always someone elses fault. Either it’s the manager playing him out of position, his midfield partners not letting him shine or something something. He’s a highlights player!Exactly.

Yeah let’s single out a player who’s just back from injury. Mental isn’t it.He looked just as bad as our other players. He was that bad.
