Been on Instagram and it’s quite telling how well he’s liked by the other players. Pretty much all of them who’ve posted tonight have him up.

Im still in the I think he should leave and it’s for the best if he does camp but I dunno. If he’s this well liked .......
You don't need IG to see this  Just look at the celebrations from the players on the pitch and the subs. Of course he is well liked by players and staff. Only some "fans" hate him.

Him and Martial to a much lesser extent are our only 2 players who can really step on the ball and hold it up with their control under pressure, back to goal. Others like Bruno and Rashford are brilliant, but don't have that on ball composure/ability/patience/strength where they can really hold it. It's absolutely vital to have in big games, and why often times when we lack both of them in big games, our counter attacking style is a bit tough to execute. You still need to hold it up.

Yeah course, just meant as it’s quite unusual to see, so it speaks further volumes on how he’s seen. Normally if we win, a player will post a pic of themselves and some upbeat remark but today they were all talking and posting about Pogba. Never seen that...

Feck me, some of the hate this guy gets is despicable. Hope Paul is the matchwinner tomorrow and can shut these clowns up. Not criticizing everyone that thinks he's been underperforming or that he should be sold, just the ones that think there's some ulterior motive behind him playing well.
Your wish is granted.

What a player, he makes everything looks so easy and it's so hard to get the ball off him when starts with the runs. His passing is so good, crisp and clean. We missed him and we need him fit and firing to have any chance at winning trophies.

Pogba can be an excellent player. But he’s not, and never will be world class. He doesn’t have anywhere near the consistency required.

he can clearly be brilliant at times, and I’m glad he’s back.

it’s not meant as an insult to say he’s not world class. It doesn’t mean I think he’s crap.
He was worldclass in Juventus and for France though.

Because Pogba is a great personality and is just this kind of glue guy that everybody gets along with. A stark difference to how he's portrayed in the media, or even by some manager out there who keeps sinking deeper holding on to past glories.

Exactly. There are few articles by the people who are reliable, who said how popular Pogba is with every staff, including non footballing staff.

Many players also spoke about him and how jovial he is. I think in one of the interview, Shaw was asked about personalities and asked about Bruno, Shaw said he is big personality and then brought Pogba's name too saying how Pogba is so good.

He is very popular with players and staff, how media portrays him and what you read from people who knows in and out of the club is so different.

Yeah, he wanted to leave, so what. It's his career and he should make decisions that will also suit him. We shouldn't expect every player to retire at ManUtd.

Its' not a coincidence that our title ambitions vanished just as he got injured.

I think 70% of that is due to City's unreal form.. but ya we have clearly missed him. Especially with the recent goal draught he could help with a few goals himself and create a further few.

We dropped all those points due to city’s form?

problem is he will still have Riola coming out with snide comments and rather then putting the comments to bed he keeps them going by either staying quiet or when he goes away with France, Personally would prefer him to go for the above reasons, but dont see where he actually goes in the current climate and expect him to sign a big contract with us just before the season ends. hardly a surprise his agent comes out and says he will leave in the summer and his performances are the best he has ever produced for us, seems its more about getting a move

No, that's the other 30%.. but I bet you if City continued their earlier form, we might be very close to the top position regardless of our dropped points. Ergo, City's improved form is a big factor too

If we won the games we should have won the gap would be around 5 points

He’s our best player. Had he stayed fit we might have been able to push city all the way. He’s clearly leaving in the summer, we’ve told raiola to keep quiet until the end of the season on the proviso that we grant his wish.

It’s a real shame as we’ve seen in the last few weeks how inferior we are without him. He’s coming into his prime (makes sense at 28).

Still hope we throw whatever money we can at him to keep him here, we can’t replace his quality.

I agree with you, you are not getting my point.. I was replying to a post saying that Pogba's injury was a big factor in us losing the top spot. So I bet if we were to look at points per game pre-pogba injury for us and City and after that, the most important reason for the gap would be City's dramatic improvement rather than our own fall. I haven't checked the numbers though.. I didn't mean that we weren't responsible for the title race being pretty much over.

It was night and day on the pitch after he came on. If he does leave in the summer we need to spend big on a replacement because Bruno cant do it all on his own. Two equally brilliant threats is so much harder to defend against.

Yeah, that's how teams should be. When Pogba is injured, all teams have to do is put man on Bruno and then we are done. We barely create chances.

Compare that to the time when we had players like Carrick, Scholes, Giggs, Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez, Nani everyone was good on the ball and created chances. Its so much harder to contain when you have good players, players who are good on the ball and can create chances.

We should add quality players to the 11, so that we don't have to rely on couple of players all the time.

Ive been harsh on him, and gladly admit i was wrong.

When in form hes pure class. Completely changed the game when he came on and Milan could not handle him at all.

Considering hes spent quite a bit of time on the sidelines he should also be reasonably fresh as well for the run in

We can't lose him this summer. Replacing will be too difficult. Will ensure we regress imo.

Keep and bolster the squad with two new players for the starting 11.

If we are ambitious the would stay as has always been the case

I've publicly said on the caf I would be happy to get rid mostly due to his entourage and the media show that surrounds Paul Pogba,

However we will be a much worse off team without him and his replacing would take some doing, I hope the club can strike a new deal with him but I honestly and this is painful to say would not blame him for leaving, 28 years old, entering his peak, 3-4 years left at a high level , that's not very much and he will be desperate to win trophies especially Champions League and not sure we can offer him that right now tbh

It would be good if we can strike up a new deal with him and have a gentlemen's agreement that if we do not win any trophies by the end of next season we will not stand in his way for a move away. Didn't we do something similar with Ronnie in 09 with Madrid ?

Yeah they love him. People hold it against him for not being a Roy Keane like figure in the dressing room, without recognising you need a mix of the jokers like Rio and the miserable gits like Keane to make the team chemistry work. Pogba's exactly the kind of personality you want in a team that's feeling good because he can extend those feelings, he brings joy to the football and has fun with the squad, particularly the younger ones. He creates a welcoming atmosphere, builds belief, encourages personality and then puts that out there on the pitch with a bit of style. He is clearly a good role model.

It's amazing people still stick to the line that what he says in the media unsettles the team. It just unsettles insecure fans. The players don't care about what agents say.

Aye we will need to show serious intent in the transfer window to convince him of staying at this point. I’m talking Sancho/Haaland level signings which unfortunately with the Glazers in charge is quite hard to imagine.

Then he will probably leave and who in their right mind can blame him

Pogba looks happy right now, I really do hope we can convince him the next 2/3 years could be big.

He's proved yet again that when he's fit and motivated he can be a deadly player. Completely turned the game for us.

The enforced injury rest of Pogba might actually be the fresh legs we need to press on and win a trophy this season.

If we want to win trophies then Pogba is an integral component for that. Not many players like him. It will be an interesting situation coming up because from January he can negotiate with other clubs and in this difficult economy that will be what the likes of Real, PSG, Juve are waiting for.

Utd will either ask him to sign a new deal or will sell him this summer. I cannot see the club allowing him to leave for free.

I think our best chance of keeping him is offering way more money then any potential suitor. I think we’ll struggle to sell him the project after 5 years of lies.

It's worth the risk in getting him to stay

I'm not entirely sure, he's clearly really happy right now. We're in for trophies, we're in second in the league and we're playing good football, especially with him in the team. We've restructured to make transfers and long term planning more coherent and if we can get in some real quality this summer, I can definitely see him signing on again.
