There is definitely a weird disconnect between the performances we're seeing and how we're doing in the PL. Hopefully that continues because I'd have thought the results are more likely to change than the performance level.

Don't like the fans reacting in a negative way but I can certainly empathise with it.
 
Uber fan alert.

Our team served up a terrible and almost non existant second half against a direct competitor to our ticket to qualify for the CL knockout stage, which potentially leaves us with having to play Europa League football.

I'd say we have a bit of a right to be pissed.
 
If we fail to qualify to the KO stages, do you think that's acceptable?
 
football is entertainment. manchester united are not entertaining unless you count meltdowns on the caf.

We don't expect to win every game like Real or whoever, getting white hankey's out, bashing up players cars or whatever.
Performances like this where we come out FLAT from start to finish, show no energy, no urgency,no risk, no desire.
It's been a year and a half and people (in my opinion, rightly) are getting sick of seeing the same issues not being addressed.

Don't worry, your a better supporter than all of us who moan or leave early as we're sick of the current state of affairs... My problem isn't with the results, its in the style of play and direction the club is seemingly heading, investing in yet another manager who isn't right.

Kudos to you for being a super duper 'I don't complain' fan.
 
The fans in the ground who paid their money can react however they want.
 
That's too pricey to fit on a plane banner. I reckon if we limit it to the first three though we could all chip in and get it done in time for the Leicester game.

These are the games you want to be in control of -- having to go to fecking Germany and win is not an easy task. Aside from that, worst performance I can remember in a long time. Absolutely dire stuff. Who the feck wants to watch that?
 
Thank you.. fecking embarrassing, thankfully we'll play both Leicester and Wolfsburg away so we can get the real fans behind the team.

Every post in the football forum is pissing me off. I assumed this was another moan at our performance, but pathetically it's a nice surprise seeing a moan about our fans instead.
 
I really respect the stadium going fans but I wish some people were not leaving in the 80th minute.
 
Not when you are paying 40 pound to watch that it isn't.
 
We're second in the league but I think most people recognize we have big problems and we're only second because once we conceded against Watford, we started to play. We nearly gave it away, like we gave top spot away because the players seem to have little ambition. There is a really bad attitude in this team and it's completely negative. I know what LVG is trying to do but why is the team playing contradictory to what he's asking? The players are negative. They were an embarrassment tonight because they played with no heart. At times it felt like watching a dead rubber game. The players have let themselves down and we won't finish second unless we make a real improvement because other teams will improve. They're not as negative as we are. Possession is bullshit with no ambition. We'll crash out of Europe because some of these players are stupid. They are quite happy to kill our tempo.
 
I agree with OP. Frustrating night but those that booed can get fecked. We can go top in the league on Saturday.
