Apparently, every time someone says "I don't believe in Hargreaves'" a Hargreaves loses his knees

He was training away from the rest of the side with Park at the start of the week, its not a surprise hes not involved today. Can't afford to rush him back again.

if he comes back ever and helps us win big ears, then he will have been worth it.

other than that he makes saha look like a lampard/vidic type player (hardly ever injured)

New agony for injury-jinxed Hargreaves as midfielder damages shoulder in training

Owen Hargreaves' hopes of playing for Manchester United again have been dealt a crushing blow after he damaged his shoulder in training.

The injury plagued England midfielder had put himself in contention for a return, only for his shoulder to pop out as he challenged for a header.

The 30-year-old had X-rays and initial fears are that he has ligament damage and could be out for at least four weeks.

He has had just six minutes of first-team football since September 2008 because of two lots of knee surgery and a torn hamstring suffered in his latest Barclays Premier League comeback against Wolves on November 6.

Hargreaves has played 39 games since his £17million arrival from Bayern Munich in May 2007.

He can't catch a break with his injuries :(

Look on the bright side. His hammies and knees must have held up in order for him to challenge that header!!

He's seriously unlucky though.

That's just plain cruel - he must have have fecked the God of Karma's daughter in a previous life.

He must be made of tracing paper. I'm a big fan of Hargreaves and never given up on him returning, and I'll continue to do so as this is a totally random injury, but this is just agony waiting

Regardless, I'm going to look for confirmation as it just seems too bizarre to be true

Perhaps he has been overly enthusiastic in training to try and prove a point.

Regardless, I am officially surrendering all hope.

Am almost there with you. But, bright side especially for all the ones that do want us to spend money in CM is SAF will do it now - think he's always just felt Hargo would play some part over the last 2+ years and so hasn't spent. Hargo moving on will definitely make him spend on another high energy all action CM.

I would imagine so, and good for him.

To those who posted laughing smilies, just feck off and die, the man clearly wanted to be a United success, he hasn't asked for this has he? You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I think feck off and die is a bit much..

But yeah, I feel for him, really do. Unfortunately alot of people are sick of the whole sage though and who can blame them.

I would love him to get back playing again. I don't think it was a coincidence that we had one of our most successful seasons when he was involved in the squad.

I hope its a wind-up from the guardian if not he should just retire.
