We are paying 70m for Morata. Dembele still had a good season for a kid. He scored 10 goals and assisted a further 21 goals.
It's not the position i'm questioning. It's his raw-ness. We don't have 3 years to develop 3 first team players. This is what i am getting at. We are trying to win the league next season, you cannot do that with 3 inconstant players (Not this league).

Still impressive, Dembele would be number one signing for United. He's exactly what we need, failing that I'd take Mahrez.
21 is the amount of assists across competitions, for the league alone his tally stands at 13. 5 of the remaining 8 came from the two matches vs Legia, though that's not to say he doesn't deserve those stats.
I also don't get the surprise. Both he and Mkhi are/were two high quality play makers being utilized to their fullest potential by giving them sort of a free role in a very attacking team . Mkhitaryan being in the form of his life probably also helped a bit with the numbers.
For United Mkhitaryan plays a different role in a different tactical setup, so naturally he looks worse.
Dembele would probably cope better because with his dribbling skills he's better suited to a setup where players get less support and are expected to make things happen on their own.

In terms of potential yes but both of them have been relatively underwhelming in the last 12 months (and even longer for Pogba tbh). I think you're just making assumptions without really watching them cause there is no way you'd hold this view otherwise.
This is a player Fergie would have went for in terms of his style of play but he'd never have sanctioned the fee it'll take, conversely I don't think Jose cares about fees but he'd not have the patience with his wilder tendencies.

My opinion on players named Dembele is that they should be signed at all costs. Most of the time they turn out world class.
I think fergie and Jose have similar traits in player linking too. About the fee fergie was old school and Jose is more modern , but even fergie would have changed his stance if he managed in this era.
I guess we'll never know whether Fergie would have adapted regarding fees in the modern game, but Fergie had patience with a young Ronaldo and Nani, 2 players I think would have driven Jose spare.
Fergie had a mix of youth and experience. While RVN giggs and company were doing there job and taking all the pressure on their shoulders.
We don't have any now as ibra is injured who took all the pressure and Rooney dot exactly play like his former level anymore with a couple of youngsters having to take all the burden. Not joses fault for being impatient. Experience to take more pressure.

However my main point is that throughout his career Fergie had patience with the young flair players which Dembele is, where as Jose has never been one for that.
Saw some reports that he might be switching to Raiola as his agent? Well, that will certainly boost our chances of getting him if we are interested - Mino will return to Dortmund to throw more chairs.

Yeah, not sure that is even up for debate. SAF had lot of patience with young players, he loved flair players and allowed them to take time to adapt. None of the modern managers of top clubs have that anymore. Closest is Poch but then again you can debate whether spurs are top club or not.
If he comes and takes the no.7 jersey, it would be amazing. Think he would fancy linking up with Pogba too.

I have a season ticket buddy I watched a lot of Pogba my view was Pogba had a good season last year. But because his price tag people knocked him not sure they watched him at Juve as he had the exact same level but in a better team. He hasn't played really in the EPL so had to settle and has done really well. For me there is not a better midfielder in the world than Pogba. Griezmann is up there with the elite as well obviously not Messi or Ronaldo but the Suarez and Bale's (his season was worse performance wise) and perhaps Neymar is a step up to be fair. One season of a slight dip in Bale say or Griezmann is not going to change my opinion. A total drop off in what Martial or Sanchez at Bayern had would make me think I'd give them atleast another season to come good again but their age has to be taken into consideration also much like Rashford they will experience highs and lows still to come before they actually find themselves. Just my opinion happy to have a different one from you no big deal they are all tremendous players.
We do have different opinions indeed but are we completely talking about the same thing ? Pogba hasn't been as great as his potential can make him reach but he's at least been more consistent for France than Griezmann who logically finds it tough to replicate his Euro form (even if he had a truly horrible final) during the qualifiers and friendlies.
When I look at them for France, their club form is irrelevant to me (not completely tbh but still) so what both did for Atletico and United isn't related to their performances for France. When I said you need to watch them, I was never talking about club football. Griezmann is still a big and important player for Deschamps so he will afforded much more patience (he is massively loved by the public too).
