Our rival's squads next year - Man City

Gundogan - injured
Pogba - stating at Juve
Koke - not leaving Atleti
Pjanic - going to Bayern?

Who's available?
Kroos (?), Thiago (another injury prone player), Xhaka? Not many options left for them tbh. Which is great news, because their MF is atrocious.

For some fairly boring reasons I have been following the City youth players quite closely this season. Iheanacho has now risen into the first team of course, but what role do you think Denayer will play next season then? He is a player I rated quite highly and was confident he would be in the first team this year (and apparently so was the player himself).

The other one who I have seen a fair bit of is Man Utd Garcia, who I notice is missing from your list - don't think he will make it? He strikes me as a player Pep would like a lot.
Denayer has plenty of pace and may be, given a chance to hold down RB or in a 3 as Pep sometimes uses. Man Utd obviously has talent but has not so far imposed himself on games to be seriously considered for first team squad.
Jack Byrne (on loan at Cambuur) is a scrappy midfielder who may sneak in under the radar.

And what is happening with that Roberts bloke they signed from Fulham? Did he get any minutes?
A few sub appearances early in season and now a regular starter for Celtic.
Coming along nicely but needs to get more football intelligence which will come with experience.

Van Gaal can now claim again that he laid the foundations for Guardiola. With City going into the Champions League + the Pep factor it'll be torture to see them buy and form a ridiculous squad.
