I hope we see a much improved DVB going forward but if you think he's been anywhere near Fernandes level for us then you should probably lay off the spice.

After 50 odd games of being completely crap, I can't believe people would hold that opinion.

I'm tired of people putting an asterisk of oh but Ajax played well in the champions League on all these players, people forget that that's down to 11 players, not one. You're not getting Tadic, De Light etc too from those performances.

Dybala won 5 league titles, 3 Italian super cup and 4 coppa italia with Juventus. He played in 1 CL finals and was part of the squad who reached the CL final in Berlin. We only have 2 players with a better pedigree at our club ie Ronaldo and DDG.

His time with Juventus is very complex as he had to face ideologies that didn't suit him (ex Allegri whose very defensive) and was shoehorned into roles that weren't suited to him to make way for Ronaldo. I am not saying that he's my no 1 target. However as a free agent he's a no brainer especially in an ETH's time.

Performances in the champions league against teams like Real Madrid Juventus and the likes. Bruno might have some flashy attributes but given he can’t pass 3 yards and won’t show for a ball or move and tends to just hit hail Mary Passes, Cleverley or Anderson would be better options for a team that hopes to keep possession.
I’m sure Bruno will play and most likely if he joins Erikson will be more of a bench option but ETH is going to have a lot of work to do getting Bruno to the level he needs to be at.

As for Martial and Diallo what other options do we have? Rashford and Elanga aren’t great movers, can’t pass, won’t pass where Martial and Diallo do. If we had better options then no probs they wouldn’t be my preferred options but just trying to make the best out of a bad situation.

Heck there is even a chance Bruno will be deployed off of a wing.

I'm not bruno's biggest fan - he surrenders possession too cheaply too often - but dvb has only shown the ability so far to pop off the ball to the nearest player to him. I've seen him do basically nothing else. It reminds me of Tom cleverley.

As for martial and diallo, I would think either we'll buy a cf or start Rashford there. He's been bad but martial is an absolutely pathetic player these days. Diallo remains too weak and hasn't shown much to suggest he's ready for pl football yet. I would imagine Elanga will continue to start ahead of him, assuming Antony doesn't come in.

Our front three is the worst in the top 6 maybe even top 10, if we don't improve it by bring in quality footballers I'm afraid ETH has to be a miracle worker to get us anywhere near top 4.

Yeah 1 got sacked because he continually played players when they were playing absolute crap. One of those being Bruno. I’ve also never said Donny produced better football for us than Bruno. What I’ve said is Donny is a better footballer in my opinion and better suited to the style we are probably going to move forward with. There are differences.
