Optimism

Man Utd 2:1 Leicester (new season)
I am firmly in the optimist camp.

I am delighted we finally have a worthy world-class successor to SAF.
Our team is literally better than 90 other English league teams, out of 91 teams.

For all the fanfare of Liverpool, Spurs and the like, we are still AHEAD of them.

There are so many positives from this season, our club is moving in the right direction.
I can't be the only one here that thinks this way, surely?
So far, so good!

I'm optimistic as well. We are solid throughout. We have decent depth and we showed that we can pressure, attack and play aggressive counterattacking football today. At least we did for about 55 minutes. I wish we hadn't taken the foot off the pedal in the 1st half after we scored.

I like our team a lot and think we can get it together and clean up those lost points against some of the bottom teams, and give City a real run.

I wish negativity could be moderated somehow. Seems like some people want to be negative just for the sake of it. Nothing especially bad to say about this performance, especially considering the state of the squad and a good opposition playing well, but still negatives were brought out like usual.

Personally I'm going to refrain being negative which mostly means me tempering myself regarding Fellaini and rather focus on his positives. You just don't do yourself any good by being negative for negativity sake and it sucks to have to read so many negative comments after such a positive result.

We just need the games to keep coming. For those first energetic 10 minutes i forgot all about any worries about united and just enjoyed it. Keep winning while improving and getting settled squad and we can all start enjoying it again
