That's if we consider yesterday(and our general level) unacceptable. Given our boards track record they'll prefer to ride out the storm unless we aren't getting top 4. Lots of ups and downs to go for Ole sadly imo.

Keeping Ole on for any longer than two more games seems the likely outcome. It’s inevitable that he’ll be gone fairly soon, but I imagine the board will wait for us to be eliminated from the Champions League before making a decision.
Ole can still turn it around. We need to:
1) Stop pressing in the opposition's half
2) Drop Bruno for Pogba and play three in central midfield (Pogba-Matic-Fred) or ask Bruno to play like a central midfielder
3) Drop Greenwood for Sancho
4) Ask the widemen to increase their workrate by x2

Some were bought into the "I need 3 years to rebuild" thingy but every other manager in major club was not given this time. Either u perform or go. I believe if you were good enough your style of play will be evident in short period of time.
Next time we should never buy into this bullshit of need "X number of years to rebuild". Many good managers implement the changes immediately.

This. You know what ails this club is not just poor management. It's the state of the fans, this small group who go about preaching soul, identity, unwavering support, righteous ways to win, and all such bellendery. The sooner we get rid of these knobs, the better.

No way Maguire, McTominay, Lingard, or Wan-Bissaka would be playing at clubs like Lpool or City. Or trying to bench Alisson or Ederson to put Henderson on, just because he's an academy graduated. They don't give a f..., they only care about winning. Keep trying to win it in a "Man.United way" and they'll have like 25 titles by the time we win 1.

Cowardly and inept enough to think he was the right man, to keep him in a job this long, to give him a new contract after multiple failures but losing 5-0 at home to Liverpool is different. He will wear that for the rest of his life as will every united fan. He needs to go now. Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
I might be remembering it wrong, but I’m fairly sure the Mourinho sacking came out of ‘nowhere’ on a Monday after the Liverpool game on the Sunday? I know there were huge rumours weeks before prior to Newcastle, but no rumours of an imminent departure that night or the next morning I mean

You all keep saying this. Scapegoat for what exactly? Yes man for what? The Glazers have given Ole all the tools to be successful, he just isn't cut out for the job. The only thing the Glazers are at fault for here is keeping him in the job this long and I have a feeling that will be corrected shortly. Moyes and Mourinho were announced sacked at 10-12 so I'm expecting that announcement around the same time.
Yeah you’re right, we were further away and about 6 weeks deeper into the season. But I think if ole stays another 6 weeks, we’ll be in a worse position. It’s be nice for the club to act proactively for once.

I am 100% Ole out but I don’t think he’ll get sacked just on the basis of yesterday’s performance. The fact that yesterday comes on the back of some recent abject displays won’t have helped him but I think he’ll be given the next couple of premier league games to see if he’s capable of getting a positive reaction. Tottenham, Atalanta and City will decide his fate and that is a fair view.
The next 3 games are crucial for Ole. Two or, god forbid, 3 more listless and incompetent performances and I think he’ll be gone and rightly so. There can be no more doubt about his lack of tactical nous and the ability of his coaching set up. He was literally embarrassed by Klopps Liverpool yesterday just as Scholes predicted after Atalanta. Poor and disjointed performances have been the norm now for way too long and despite the quality we now have in our squad we are no closer to having any kind of positive identity on the pitch.
Still, as always I just want the team to do well and that desire is very strong now when I look at the squad we have. But there’s some real bullsh*t going on with it with no clear solutions.
The Pogba situation, VDB and now Sancho. Three players, all expensive and currently Ole seemingly has no clue on how to use them so why buy them (I know Pogba wasn’t bought by Ole but in 3 years, he’s not figured out what to do with his talent). Our basic play is so aimless, we seem unable to do the simplest of things on the pitch. We can’t keep laying the blame at the players door because all of these players were bought because they were excelling at their former clubs, they’re top players.
The manager and the coaches are paid to get the best out of the players we have, can anyone really think our current manager and coaches are doing that? No way. It would have been a dream gig to win something under Ole and Carrick and for all their faults, the glazers have backed him handsomely by funding a rebuild that’s bought some real quality in. I’m my view, we have a fantastic squad (obviously we still need a proper DM), on paper we look amazing, on the pitch we look worse than we did last season.
So, the next 3 games will decide his fate I think. If we don’t come through them in good shape, I don’t think any remaining Ole ‘in’ folk can have many complaints. There has to come a time where no more time can be given.

Yes I think. You get less money than being sacked but of course you'd look better. Conte left Inter on mutual consent for example.

I’ve been Ole in for a long time and have defended him a lot on here but it’s clear from the game yesterday that he’s lost the dressing room.
