Never. We need to go forward not back, we need to get away from this United DNA crap and actually hire a manager that we feel has a way of playing

I agree but it will be difficult to get someone mid season. jesus juts put anyone in there except Ole - i'd take Gordon Strachan or martin oneil as interim until next summer

He'll bring his coaching staff with him, it won't be our mugs doing it still.

I hope so but you know with how badly this club is run, they'll probably force him to keep some of the united old boys around.

A competent manager would have dropped Maguire ages ago. A competent board would have sacked the manager ages ago. But yet here we are...

A lot of people assuming Zidane will agree to this. I don't see why he would other than an insane amount of money.

Lots of noise that it's already been done, Ole has been sacked.
Not sure I fully believe it mind.

Man, if het gets sacked it'll be such a relief. I won't have to be worried that CL qualification can save his behind.

We just need to get a draw against Villarreal and focus on salvaging top 4 and the FA Cup domestically

Having to watch Liverpool as bf supports them, Michael Owen is on at half time. They're discussing Ole.

I've just agreed with every word he said, also Sol Campbell.

Liverpool. Cruise fest against Arsenal. Owen. Campbell.

Glad I didn't put that one on!

What sources? What noise? Nothing has been posted on this site as of yet to suggest that its done yet.

You didn't read the Times link that's been posted by about 17 different posters saying an emergency meet has been arranged at 7pm and that Ole's severance is a key agenda point?

I mean there's never a good time to say this but feck me, the excuses some of you lot made for him in the last few years were downright hilarious. I mean there was a prat on here up until recently who was trying to argue that he was still doing a good job and that a true fan would get behind him. As long as we have delusional fans like that and under the current regime, our club will go nowhere.

Fingers crossed, bubbly on ice. I have been able to seperate the legend and manager, so I will be over the moon if he goes and I'm not at all ashamed to say it. People saying about it will be same with next manager etc I couldn't give a monkeys. Ole has proven to me he is a very poor manager and he doesn't deserve another minute in the job.

Ole won a Norwegian title 10 years ago and got Cardiff relegated. If he wasn’t an ex player, everyone would have been fuming well before now, because he’s utter shite: muppets who thibk they’re top reds supporting him at this point

You can't drop him though, that's the issue. If Varane was fit you'd say fine, drop him out for a few weeks but you can't play Lindelof/Bailey as a pairing, that's even worse than Maguire's form.

Nothing substantial as yet, I don't think any media will properly report it until they get news themselves,
But near enough every aggregate site and respected Twitter feeds have reiterated that it's done.

I've always said people were comfortable supporting him because it never reflected on the league table.

I would have Matic in central defense before Maguire. It reached a point where he is a poor at everything.

Score 49 league goals with Depay, Falcao, Di Maria, Rooney and Van Persie in your squad and finish fifth, better than Ole.
Take the reigning champions of England and have them miss out on Champions League football for the first time since 1995-96, better than Ole.

By all means want him gone, but feck me tone the hyperbolic bollocks down.
No hyperbolic. LVG still got us an FA cup and wasn't midtable. He was not worse than Ole, its that simple.

Predictions on when we'll get a statement? 7:30? 8PM?

the statment:

We brought Ole in to discuss his recent performance.
He says he's sorry and that next week we'll have a good week and promises that we are close, to, errr, something.
We believe him.
