So are the Glazers.Isn't Carrick part of the current problem?
Sacking Ole with no replacement logically means someone internal temporarily, no?

But is that going to be enough for you? Once the Ole out frustration has gone aren't you just going to want Hassenhuttl out too because he isn't good enough either? Because he simply isn't. He's not going to win us anything either.
I think they will put someone in charge to steady the ship and try and get a top coach in summer now. I genuinely don't see a world class coach joining us now in this position anyway. They'd want a clean slate.
Or Carrick if not.
I thought that I'm Ole though?
If you're talking about fiduciary responsibility, don't you think that lies with ownership? Again, how many managers do you hear about resigning because they're not up to scratch? The club gave him a contract. Utterly mental to put responsibility for him going on him.I would if I am revered and a legend at the company.. not only moral responsibility but fiduciary too.
Didn't know that and good on him. Sounds like he has a good heart,, pleasantly surprised at that as well.
Club legend or not, I'd still not hand my notice in if it meant losing out on £10+m and instead securing my family's financial future for a generation or two
I’m believing nothing until I see an official club statement saying he’s sacked, and even then I don’t think I’ll be 100% convinced he’s really gone until I see someone else in the dugout for the next game.
As if this wasn’t the only ever outcome. It’s been apparent for weeks he’d lost the dressing room so why the feck have they needlessly flushed more points down the toilet by keeping him on? They’re incompetency never ceases to amaze me. Unbelievable.
They fecked up real good with not getting ConteSo are the Glazers.

How would you know he isn't good enough. He keeps a team in the PL that wouldn't look out of place in league 3. Year after year. Playing actually pretty good football too. Same with the other options. All good managers that might turn us into a winning side again. That's all that matters. What we really really shouldn't do now is get someone from within the club. That would be the nail in the coffin. We need to get rid off Ole and his whole caching team.
We finished SEVENTH with a team that just won the title the previous year. If you're genuinely putting a negative goal difference in November below that on your scale, feck me.

I really think the poor coaching is going to take months to break...Other clubs seem to change managers and improve relatively straightforwardly. However standards are different. We’re looking for a guy capable of doing better than relegating Cardiff - that could take months.
He has been backed to the hilt. He is just as complicit, if not more so. He should have walked. He always maintained it was his love for the club, but here he is, taking it through its darkest days in the PL with a smile on his face and a holiday.
He is doing massive damage to the club, losing players with value on free transfers, insisting with those that don’t perform and the likes of Ronaldo and Cavani, leaders we could have used to build for the future, will walk away.
He is tanking his legacy for me. I am not putting it all on the owners when they have backed him so heavily.

Mate, he was never escaping this latest defeat. We all knew it deep down, despite the boards incompetence.
Lots of people are going to celebrate when he eventually goes. Come back to me in 2 years time when we will be in the exact same situation and everyone is calling for whatever manager who's in charge then to get sacked.
Once you put your anger away and man up to the fact that we are nothing but a stock exchange market club under this stinking regime then life will be easier for you.
Want change? Stop going to home games. Boycott the club completely. The alternative is to let the current owners keep on severely damaging the club.
Really it's in the hands of the fans but they keep playing right into the hands of the Glazers.
You want Ole out so badly you're just clutching at straws with these suggestions.
Is Hassenhuttl going to ever finish ahead of Man City (with Pep or whoever), Klopp's Liverpool or Tuchel's Chelsea?
No he isn't.
If they can get Zidane, even though he doesn't appear to be chomping at the bit, then that's our best bet.
Oh god this is going to be excuse for the next guy isn't it?I really think the poor coaching is going to take months to break...

That's why people were going batshit crazy. I get it now. They did, despite my initial skepticism when I realized that he was the only serious option the decision wasn't that difficult.
I was questioning the decision right after Ed made him the permanent manager (and got shat on for it). It was trigger happy. Such form was never going to be sustainable, players were punching above their weight, we also got lucky on several goals. My argument was that we could have given Ole more time to see how he handles the bad games when they came. We didn't, right after becoming the permanent manager the loses started to come, Solskjaertabelen started to look worse. And the argument from people at the time was that Ole didn't trust the players that's why he didn't use subs but it's the opposite - good managers that want to win will try things out. Should we appoint a care taker manager, we should never use a small sample size as a baseline ever again.Just like when Jose left. You remember how good things looked back then?
How did it last in the long run? You know the answer. Absolute shit.
Zidane is an old school style manager who leaves training ground stuff to the coaches, i feel we need a proper head coach this time.
Surely that has to be it?
A sad day for everyone but United fans, ironical considering their team lost.
