What does it say?
Paddy Power:What does it say?
Oh dear! Paddy Power are known for this kind of thing.Paddy Power:
"San Marino's manager hanging on to his job for the last 3 years despite a 0% win record and 34242 goals conceded.
The OGS of international football."
Doing the lord's work for us?Oh dear! Paddy Power are known for this kind of thing.
A key component of which is signing a nearly 37 year old Ronaldo, obviously.Feels like the people in charge of the club are masking their lack of ambition for trophies with talks about long term planning and "culture."
100%, if they were serious about that he would've already been sacked after being humiliated at home by our 2 biggest rivals.Beating Watford will be enough to satisfy them and we all know it. They're clinging onto anything to keep him at the helm otherwise he'd be gone.
I'm struggling to see why the upper hierarchy at United want to keep him in the job.
I mean yeah, a new manager will request quite a hefty transfer budget and firing this fraud will make them pay him 10-15 milion, but that will happen next summer anyway.
Yeah, someone might break a neck or something while picking up a phone and doing some work, dangerous stuff for United employees.Well for a start, firing him and hiring someone else will involve some form of effort/work .... and I reckon they try to avoid such trivial things where possible.

Ah now we are at the next month again. We are pure comedy
Because he's a "comfortable" manager for them, won't ask for too much, won't put too much pressure on the board, SAF knows and likes him..I'm struggling to see why the upper hierarchy at United want to keep him in the job.

BEcause the Glazers dont care if Utd ever win a trophy again, its irrelevant to their plans or concerns. Which is why bar is set so low for Ole. Plus Woodward doesnt want to go out with a track record of 3 complete failures in terms of his managerial choices, while Arnold doesnt want to be dealing with a new manager. Though these concerns are only allowed given the first point, the indifference of the owners to onfield success beyond top 4.Basically, if he can't make top four - which would be more impressively shit than I think is possible given the squad at his disposal - he'll be sacked. Talk about setting the bar low.
He's a yes man who won't rock the boat, go to loggerheads with the Glazers about fees for transfers and won't show the shortcomings and severe lack of footballing knowledge from Woodward.I'm struggling to see why the upper hierarchy at United want to keep him in the job.

Looking objectively (and optimistically) the sounds coming out seem to indicate that he’s gone at the end of the season, regardless. That MAY indicate that our next boss has been identified and could indicate that it might be Ten Hag, or another in work manager who wouldn’t want to leave mid season.
For what it’s worth, I’m still convinced it’s Rodgers

Let me get this right - he gets to go on holiday, with the team in the midst of a crisis and everybody and his dog saying he’s doing a crap job - whilst we get to go into work for the next 2 weeks to be subject to the banter of all and sundry because of our team’s awful attitude in the last month of football - sounds fair that, ole! Enjoy your break - have a drink on us, mate whilst you put your feet up….I was ‘ole out ‘ before but I suspect this is taking the urine just a little….
We got spanked by Leicester, Liverpool and Man City in the space of a few weeks. That was not enough to get him fired and in fact, the board rewarded him with a holiday.
For him to be fired, we'll need to get beat by almost every team in the coming weeks and because our squad is so stacked with talent, the likes of Ronaldo, Bruno and DDG alone will win some games for us....without any tactics.

His position is already untenable but the club will continue to stick their heads in the sand and grasp at anything to delay the inevitable at the detriment of our ambitions for this season
Everyone is entitled to a holiday.
Do you know how many hours per day and days per week Ole has worked? Do you know how many holidays he has had?
If not then your comment and opinion are pretty worthless just like if I slagged you off in public if you decided to have a holiday next week.
I would imagine Ole and the boys will be on their way to Newcastle and preparing for boxing day match on 25th while most people are stuffing their faces with turkeys, how dare they take a holiday.

I think anyone, in any business, would warrant criticism if he goes on holiday right when the department he's in charge of is in crisis.
Will be able to have plenty of holidays when that trigger finally gets pulled
Sure I did, on my own time. My company did not gift me a vacation after I set the office on fire.Do you ever have a few days off with your wife and kids?
