The sooner Ole is gone the greater chance we have of salvaging our season.
The same goes for Carrick/Mckenna/Phelan etc.
As a side note, why are we all of a sudden just getting in anyone with an association with the club as a coach instead of genuine world class coaches - they're clearly not up to it.

Ole doesn't have a clue. The guy is literally being carried along by star players like Ronaldo who are stealing victories that we don't really deserve and even worse is that we are losing games against average sides who are missing their best players. He genuinely thinks he is playing "The united way" when he couldn't be further from it.

The worst thing for me though is that he seems to be a reactive manager ...instead of imposing ourselves on other teams which could really cause problems with the players we have, we literally play to nullify their game plans and attack on the break. We play with a back 6 and a front 4 with nothing in between, teams are exploiting all that space on a regular basis and nothing has been done to address this issue and link up our play.

People say Ole is such a great man manager, but I don't believe this at all, he just simply has his favourites. Just ask Pogba, Donny, Telles, Bailly, Henderson if Ole is a good man manager and I'm sure they would tell you otherwise. Brings in Sancho for £70m+ and barely even plays him while Rashford is injured. Absolutely horrendous treatment of VDB and to an extent Telles. Every team, fan and pundit in the country is laughing at his insistence on playing McFred at every opportunity and even more so starting them ahead of Pogba for a champions league game must have really inspired Pogba to sign a new contract.

With Ole at the helm I feel no confidence on a matchday, even when we are playing teams like Newcastle.
At this point I would take a 10-0 loss to Liverpool if it meant we get rid of Ole.

The Atlanta match reminds me of the Newcastle match under Jose.
2-0 down in both, both under huge pressure and we turn it around and win 3-2.
As with the Newcastle match I’m delighted we turned it around but it is just a false dawn and doesn’t help us long term

Why would we suddenly be out of top4 when we came 3rd and 2nd previous years?
The top 4 are stronger and this season the pressure is on and we seem to be crumbling. I still expect a top 4 finish but I don’t see us anywhere near the top 3

Lads. Tuchel won't be at Chelsea by the end of next season and they'll start the whole merrygo round off again? Is that really what you want? A new manager every 2/3 years? No identity? They are a fake club. As are City and PSG.

True clubs and true fans understand tradition. There's a right and honourable way to win. If you don't understand that you don't understand United.
What a load of pompous virtue signalling. Last I checked Chelsea has won the league and champions league more recently than us and look to atleast compete with Liverpool and City. Whereas United has been plodding along just 'existing' in the peripheries doing nothing of note. If that's what you're happy with, then so be it. But don't berate people who have standards.

They love to build up pressure. It is a scary list of fixtures but we have always won those games and we had a better start than those last 2 seasons so I expect us to be a bit more competitive at the end.
Actually the games that are coming up we don’t win as much as people think. Last season our record against the top 6 was poor it was the season before we were great.
This was because we didn’t have a strong squad but had the players for countering and it was successful. Now we have a better side when we have the ball we look lost on what to do with it.

Well I'm glad you're not around the team if thats the attitude you're spreading.

He is on course for Top 4 and knock out stage of the CL, I honestly think that is enough to keep him in the job.

Fully expect an above average return from this difficult set of fixtures, it's honestly a pattern we have seen repeat a bit.

I understand when fans on here slag City etc for the Arabic money as it’s true when they say it’s why they are at the top. The saddest part is city seem to have a plan and even prepared for Pep and since he’s been there we nearly have spent the same yet look lost.

Our last 9 games consist of
3 wins
2 draws
4 loses.
Our 3 wins are a 96th min winner against Villarreal, a 95th min penalty save against West Ham and having to come from 0-2 down against a team missing loads of players.

We have only faced one team this season that are classed as good(Leicester) and we got easily beaten. I don’t care if you say my attitude is negative the reality is we are in a bad way at the moment with probably the hardest fixture list of any side in the world over our next 10 games

Yes but why are you being so pessimistic? Taking defeat beforehand is weak. Don't be like that.

I don't even understand what he's trying to say. The United way he talks about? Atkinson was sacked to give room for SAF, usually that's how it goes, you change managers until you find one that delivers on the clubs ambition.

Today they are changed faster that's all. All clubs do it.

I never stated we would lose this weekend or after ? I stated we have a hard fixture list and based on the last number of games it’s not looking promising.
Im not this mad Ole out poster. I love this club and imagine us being led back to glory under a legend ? It be a dream. Unfortunately for me it’s becoming clearer and clearer Ole isn’t able to do this so I have my doubts which are understandable

Tuchel will outlast Ole and will leave with at very least a CL trophy and a serious prem challenge. What will Ole leave Utd with apart from a ‘wheel’?

I’ll take the manager merry go round any time over what we have now.

Yeah Roman likes winning, so after a CL trophy and being top of the league now, I can't see Tuchel going anywhere for a while.

How hard is it for the cult to understand that we are not against giving managers time, we just don’t see the point in giving time to bad managers. I would love to see how the cult would support a 28 years old striker signed from the Norwegian or Lithuanian league.

Yes he seems to be one of the most success driven managers I’ve ever seen.

If he doesn't win the PL or CL this season he will be out of a job. The Chelsea lot are ruthless which is why they have been so succesful.

Nah. They were prepared to keep Sarri, so as long as Tuchel keeps them competitive he won’t be sacked. Even with both Mourinho 2nd stint and Conte, even Lampard, they gave all 3 plenty of ropes to hang themselves with.

They are generally decisive and clear eyed about their objectives, but not the sack happy pantomime they are often portrayed as.

Got rid of Lukaku because he doesn't press from the front, only to sign Ronaldo who doesn't press from the front.
Don’t think it’s true at all. His replacement for Lukaku for no.9 role was mainly Martial, who was even worst at pressing.

What a joke suggestion.

Right? Why would you want someone who won 3 CLs, 2 La Liga titles, and 2 Spanish cups in 4 years of management?

I personally prefer a manager who wins nothing in 3 years and has less points per game than Mourinho yet somehow dupes most of the fanbase to think that things are so much better now  If that is not skill, I don't know what is.

Not a hope. He is not that ruthless especially after Tuchel last season. Sure he kept Lampard last season and only sacked when they were 9th.
Roman will expect a title challenge but if they finish 10 points off top in 2nd or 3rd Tuchel is easily safe

What are you on about? Manchester United is all about winning, with attractive football.
Right now Ole deserves neither of those things.
Fergie emphasized the notion that no one is bigger than the club. Yet it sounds like you are putting Ole above the club, which goes against everything Manchester United stands for.

As far as I am concerned Ole is done here we are just postponing the inevitable but if he emerges from the Liverpool and City games relatively unscathed in addition to qualifying for the CL knockouts then he'd have earned more time. Failing to arrest the currente malaise is what's unacceptable and warrants an immediate sacking.

As much as I am convinced that he is not the right man for the job he still deserves a chance to fight for what must be his dream job and a once in a lifetime opportunity to do it at the highest level. In that vein I won't begrudge him his right to fight, the board on the other hand is to blame if we end up falling too far behind because they can't be decisive.
Yeah if he steadies the boat, and sees us through to the CL knockouts he is safe for now. Heck, I'd even argue that they'll be happy if we get top4 by the end of the season. We lack ambition, I wouldn't be surprised at all.

Those recent Andy Mitten tweets said the club are happy because they think he'll achieve Champions League qualification

They give him a team with Ronaldo, Bruno, Cavani, Pogba, Sancho, Rashford, Varane etc and just ask for top 4! Best owners in the world! I'm just gutted they didn't pluck a random fan out of the Stratford End to come and do that, give us a real feel good story to get behind. We're a fecking joke.

I was hoping after the Liverpool game but I'm not so sure now. He has this incredible knack of getting a big result right when his head is on the chopping block. I could see him getting another flukey win against Liverpool and/or City and then we'll be stuck with him until the end of the season.
It makes you wonder if we keep him under constant pressure, he might not be too bad. It seems the mood at United is too relaxed where everyone feels safe in their jobs regardless of performance. During the international break fat contracts were being offered to all the coaching staff like they have been tearing it up. It surely sends the wrong message.

Never felt this bad during the Jose or LVG days. We have such a good squad this season and we are fine with top 4. Surely even the Glazers realise that this is not value for money.

No evidence to suggest Solkjsaer will be sacked soon according to Mitten. It's worth watching the whole thing or else that would make guilty of the thing he mentions at 12:15.

I don't need to watch the whole thing to understand Mitten's POV. He's the one who tweeted the embarrassing PR last week about them "sacrificing their personal lives to coach".

Do you think that’s PR or just a genuine recounting of what he’s been told? Even if you believe that they’re all utterly rubbish at their jobs, is it that hard to believe that those jobs are incredibly demanding and that they, as human beings, could struggle with that, even if you consider them to be in an extraordinarily privileged position?

He didn't tweet anything, he said that on an Athletic podcast, which was subsequently aggregated by the fan accounts.

Two things can be true at the same time.
  1. It is an incredibly difficult and stressful job and Ole is doing his best.
  2. Ole’s best is not good enough for a club the size of Manchester United.
Not sure why you think it’s either or.

I think we have ambition but not too much however we don't have people who know how to satisfy that ambition. You don't spend £400m in three years on top of the £300m squandered under Mourinho if you are not ambitious.

Given what's happening top four isn't even enough this time around because it's simply not enough but the board has got to have the decisiveness and vision required. The money spent for just a couple of top four finishes is eyewatering but we still have teething issues in our squad.

But that's the thing, if we were ambitious, we would have sacked these managers much earlier, failure would not have been tolerated. Look at how much time managers get at a club like Real Madrid.

I get that the Glazers are not big on football, but even they would realise we are not where we should be in the PL table. Yet, it looks like they'll only sack managers when they don't have a chance of top4 or CL football.

Man Utd next five PL matches....not a good time to be in poor form. If he gets this team through that schedule anywhere near the top of the table, good on him.
