I've no idea what is happening at board level or if Fergie is helping him buy more time mate. All I've ever heard via media reports is that nothing can happen at the club without the say so of Joel Glazer.
I'm just hoping he's sacked soon because prolonging this isn't helping anyone and will cause further unrest amongst the fan base.
I think he bet that he would lose more pounds (or kilograms?) than LVG would win points, after LVG allegedly addressed him as “fat man”. He lost the bet.
That’s my only impression of him anyway!
I'd say he's worth taking notice of regarding United news.
That already happened with David Moyes and when he got rid of our title winning backroom staff he stepped on the frog for good measure.

The defensive equivalent of Nuno’s attacking stats at Spurs. Nuno has been replaced by Conte a few months into the job. Solskjaer continues to be blindly backed after nearly 3 years into his tenure.
I just desperately want him out without having United crash and burn, a 3-2 defeat is the best case scenario if it's true that Ronaldo's late goal against Atalanta saved his job.

I think realistically what’s happening is two folds.
1) Club have their long term target, Rodgers, Poch, or Tan Hag and are seeing if said target is guaranteed to come at the end of the season and maybe cheekily seeing if they can get him now.
2) Trying to lineup a suitable interim, who even if he does something amazing they won’t be compelled to give it to him permanently. Maybe someone recently retired, Gus Hiddink comes to mind.

This is what I thought was happening last week. But it seems the reports about there being a difference of opinion on who the interim should be is delaying things.
If he was going to go, it would’ve been yesterday or today. There is no reason we would drag it out if we were getting rid. He’ll be in charge for Watford. Win that and he has until at least the Arsenal game I suspect

I thought McKenna was really highly rated when we poached him? A lot of people on here were constantly calling for him to be promoted under Jose, and some even called for him to be interim boss when Jose was on the ropes.
McKenna is supposed to be a highly rated coach who at one point caught the attention of Liverpool. It's safe to say that we've seen zero evidence of that here. Maybe Ole doesn't like him and forces him to put cones out while Carrick and Phelan do the actual coaching.

He coached teenagers in Spurs' academy for a few years. Liverpool tried to hire him to their academy but he changed his mind after spending 1 day up there. Then he coached Spurs u18s for 1 year and did well. Then he coached our u18s for 2 years. Then Mourinho promoted him.
So he has achieved absolutely nothing of note above u18 level.

I'm the same, I even stupidly got excited when I got app notifications earlier. Then felt that disappointment on seeing the first batch was an article about our players on international duty, the next an article about our injuries
