I've no idea what is happening at board level or if Fergie is helping him buy more time mate. All I've ever heard via media reports is that nothing can happen at the club without the say so of Joel Glazer. It seems, based on the media talk, that Joel Glazer is being badly advised by the board, the majority of whom apparently still back Solskjaer. There’s Woodward who won’t want to admit to yet another managerial failure before he leaves (then again why doesn’t he see he would look so much better if he rectifies the situation quickly?). Arnold is an unknown quantity but people think he’s a Woodward clone. Then there’s SAF, who undoubtedly retains much influence and who reportedly still wants Solskjaer to stay. (And all the Pochettino talk leads me to suspect that SAF still has a large say in managerial selection too.) If we were to give the likes of Murtough, Bout etc the benefit of the doubt, the evidence so far would suggest that they are not being listened to.
Given the above, I don’t see Joel Glazer reacting until the board changes its stance. It’s all looking extremely bleak at the moment mate.
Is Curtis reliable nowadays?
I'd say he's worth taking notice of regarding United news.Is Curtis reliable nowadays?
That already happened with David Moyes and when he got rid of our title winning backroom staff he stepped on the frog for good measure. You ever read about that experiment, where if you drop a frog in boiling water it will immediately jump out. But if you take that same frog and put it in cold water and slowly boil that water, it will just sit there and allow itself to be boiled alive?
That's what I feel is happening to United - we're just sat there while it's being boiled alive.
And you don’t think they’d give him that game to turn it around? I think he’s here until the end of the season and probably beyond if we secure top 4 and qualify from the group. Both unlikely in my opinion though.Ronaldo to score another brace whilst we lose to Villarreal 3-2 may be the best result for us.
Finally we drop into 3rd place in the CL group to get Ole out, needing a win against YB to progress to the KO stage.
That’s absolutely damning and disgraceful. What the f*ck is going on at this club.
They are saying on Talk Sport that Ole and most of the squad are on holiday/off during the international break!
We are run by cowards
I just desperately want him out without having United crash and burn, a 3-2 defeat is the best case scenario if it's true that Ronaldo's late goal against Atalanta saved his job.And you don’t think they’d give him that game to turn it around? No coaching been done this week so that makes a change from every other week
That’s embarrassing

I'm the same, hoping to see the title changed to sacked.I keep returning to this thread expecting something to have happened.
I cannot explain why I keep doing this. It's my whole life now. Urgh.

I'm just hoping he's sacked soon because prolonging this isn't helping anyone and will cause further unrest amongst the fan base.

This is what I thought was happening last week. But it seems the reports about there being a difference of opinion on who the interim should be is delaying things.I think realistically what’s happening is two folds.
1) Club have their long term target, Rodgers, Poch, or Tan Hag and are seeing if said target is guaranteed to come at the end of the season and maybe cheekily seeing if they can get him now.
2) Trying to lineup a suitable interim, who even if he does something amazing they won’t be compelled to give it to him permanently. Maybe someone recently retired, Gus Hiddink comes to mind.
If he was going to go, it would’ve been yesterday or today. There is no reason we would drag it out if we were getting rid. He’ll be in charge for Watford. Win that and he has until at least the Arsenal game I suspect
I'm more scared than angry reading that. We have a team of relegated failures top to bottom coaching us. If we know this, the players know this.

No team is too big to go down. Leeds went from Champions League semi-finalists to the Championship in 2-3 years.
Shhh. Don’t let facts get in the way of some good old fashioned mob propaganda.I stopped reading at McKenna failed at Spurs.
I thought McKenna was really highly rated when we poached him? A lot of people on here were constantly calling for him to be promoted under Jose, and some even called for him to be interim boss when Jose was on the ropes.
McKenna is supposed to be a highly rated coach who at one point caught the attention of Liverpool. It's safe to say that we've seen zero evidence of that here. Maybe Ole doesn't like him and forces him to put cones out while Carrick and Phelan do the actual coaching.
Another couple of games where I can laugh at just how bad we are under this clown
Who's the best player who came through the ranks from his time there? Josh Onomah, Reece Oxford or Kyle Walker-Peters? Smashing success thatIt's all on his wiki.
He coached teenagers in Spurs' academy for a few years. Liverpool tried to hire him to their academy but he changed his mind after spending 1 day up there. Then he coached Spurs u18s for 1 year and did well. Then he coached our u18s for 2 years. Then Mourinho promoted him.
So he has achieved absolutely nothing of note above u18 level.
