Ole knows more than most of us knows the standards United need to achieve. He is failing to achieve those standards. However, it's not correct seeing the personal abuse that has been directed at him. I honestly expected better from grown adults. If you carry on with the abuse expect to get warned or worse not to be posting on the forum.

I go to games if that’s got anything to do with anything. I don’t live in Manchester not that that matters.
He’s had 3 years to sort midfield out, 3 fffing years!!!
He bought Van de Beek who ,from what little I’ve seen, looks at least as good as Fred or McTom but he’s hardly given him a chance!
He bought the biggest dud I’ve ever seen in a United shirt, paid 80 mill for him and made him captain!
He pursued Sancho for 2 years, paid huge money for him and won’t play him either !
He lost to Liverpool 0-5 at Old Trafford and he’s still hanging around!

We have the worst, most idiotic people imaginable running our club. You would be forgiven for thinking they are secretly Liverpool fans purposely sabotaging the club with how bad they are.

Any player who is good enough to be playing for titles - and even those who are simply being neglected - has every right to voice their concerns as it's their precious career years that are being wasted.

Ronaldo came here with every intention of challenging for titles and trophies; Varane and Sancho, too. We have a host of other players who are being played into the ground as well as those who are in crucial formative developmental years who all can have genuine concern with how they are being handled.

We've a number of players who have done well to keep quiet to this point in time and it's actually testament to them that they haven't been disruptive elements feeding the press for months.

Man-management is supposed to be one of Ole's genuine strengths, but he has absolutely nosedived in this regard since the squad became something that was expected to legitimately challenge on all fronts, from there, he's alienated so many players and made a real hash of harmonising the squad; the longer the season goes on for him, the worse every element of his management looks. You'd think the players have had enough now and I don't know who can blame them for that.

The man is a dead man walking. Keeping him in this position is degrading and it taints his legacy. I am starting to dislike him more for every post match interview and I doubt I’m the only one.

All this was wildly apparent eons ago so why are the Solskjaer mentalists suddenly so shocked for it to be the case? They spoke of his ‘world-class’ man-management skills whilst the rest of us saw favouritism to a fault. Solskjaer never learned and now he’s finding out the hard way, by paying with his job.
 
I was just thinking about the claims how he's leaving us in a better spot than when he joined, but looking at the squad now it's an absolute abomination what he created apart from a large wage bill and stacking up an unbalanced mess.

500 billion worth of attackers, Pogba about to walk on a free, an 80 million pound worth captain that is as slow as an oil-tanker, a right-back that can't cross nor defend. 2 first choice central midfielders that wouldn't play regulary for any teams with CL aspirations.

The four goalkeepers of which one is the best paid in the world, one gets 120,000 pounds per week to sit on the bench and two mascots; 5 attacking midfielders of which one is out of contract in a year, one basically plays a centre-forward (Bruno), two never play (Mata & Van de Beek) and one that had his contract extended just to play in Brazil now (Andreas). Phil Jones and Eric Bailly are still at the club, so is Axel Tuanzebe. Nemanja Matić had his contract extended for 3 years because he performed well for 2 months after lockdown, while Anthony Martial gets paid 250,000 per week just to be the 7th attacker in the rotation.

Jadon Sancho signed to play on the right, he's our 5th left winger now. Ronaldo prioritised over the CM position, even if we convinced Cavani to stay as he was desperately needed. Diallo and Pellistri signed to maybe play in 5 years time over much more needed reinforcements at the time.

Playing injured players over their replacements. Rashford, Shaw and Maguire unfit. Lindelöf still carrying a back injury. Varane coming in and out within a week.

Woeful squad planning, woeful team selections and woeful managing, how has he survived this long?

I honestly feel bad for our players. I think they're a really good group and not toxic at all. I think they've hung in there and stayed behind Ole longer than any reasonable group would have, Gabe their all and tried to follow his instructions. Any bad performance led to them getting shit on completely, mentality, desire all constantly questioned. It's all nonsense and all just shifting the blame from the real issue which is Ole. Ole fails to give them any real system, the players see themselves being left behind by other clubs as a direct result of their coaching and the blame constantly goes on the players. Took them long enough to start turning on Ole. The guy is a fecking amateur.
 
Is anyone else worried about Ole’s mental state? His comments seem genuinely delusional. Maybe the stress has got to him and he just can’t see how bad we’ve gotten.

I think pogba just called the headline of him snubbing ole when he was sent off as fake news, not that he was unhappy with him as manager. I could be wrong though
 
Why does it have to get so toxic at this club with every manager before this stupid, useless board take action? Managers have to tank the season, play awful football and have players and fans turn against them before doing anything about it.

So yeah, 4th wasn’t “gone” any more than it is now. The board acted though because we were in free fall and 4th with Mourinho and the side in free fall appeared highly unlikely, as it does now with Ole, we’ve started this season worse in fact.

He was always liked and part of our most legendary squad and played the key role in the most legendary moment in our club’s history.

The problem with calling him a legend is that we also call George Best, Bobby Charlton, Denis Law, Brian Robson, Roy Keane, Giggs, Neville, Bruce, Rio, Vidic, Rooney, Cole, Cantona, Ronaldo, plus Sir Busby and SAF legends…. Let’s be honest Ole is not in the same bracket, status or level of importance to Man Utd and it’s history as those people.

Yes he scored a dramatic winner in the CL final so that’s given him a super cult status.. take that away and he’d have cult status as the super sub but no one would talk about him much.

Whilst I agree the word legend has broad coverage, I have to disagree with your last statement. Anyone making that many appearances and helping to win trophies makes them stand out irrespective of the CL final goal.

He’s not the same standard, but he achieved legendary status for scoring the goal that capped of our most historic season. He, just like Macheda after him are two legends of the club.
 
Just before the Derby, Fernandes was saying that the players need to work harder and it's not all on ole and now we are seeing dailymail links where he is questioning the manager. Not sure how true all this might be. We invited fans are all rattled up and any word of United sacking ole will get website hits. No quotes on the daily mail article. Might not be true at all.

I don’t know. Van Nistelrooy doesn’t seem to get the same status despite all his goals because we didn’t win as much during his time.

We don’t tend to call Darren Fletcher or Michael Carrick legends or Ji-Sung Park. That goal definitely elevated Ole for fans. He also always had the whole Shearer comparison at a bargain which fans enjoyed.

One was at the club for more than 10 years and scored over 100 goals. He also scored other important goals for example the winner against Liverpool at home in the FA cup that a lot of the United players point to as the turning point in the season that kickstarted our treble run. The other scored one important goal for the club. He was a youngster Fergie chucked on with a few minutes to go because we were desperate for a goal.
 
At this point is clear he's here for a while more. Won't be game until pretty much the whole season has been lost.

What should have happened is that board sack Ole after the humiliation against Villarreal. But since that didn’t happen, he should have been sacked after Liverpool and Conte brought in on 18 month contract, which he would have taken.

But that didn’t happen either.

Here we are now. Ole should be sacked, but because there is zero chance of getting the right manager such as Ten Hag or Zidane we have no choice but to go with a caretaker until summer.

But who is available to take over is caretaker? You could say Koeman but I seriously doubt he would take the job of caretaker. I’m open to suggestions, but the right answer is we have to cut Ole loose now. He’s a shattered manager.
 
I am loosing more respect for Ole for each game he is our manager. He clearly doesent know anything at this level, and he got very bad self-insight if not. He will stay until he gets a big fat check in his hand and is kicked out the door.

The potential this team got is just jawdropping, and Ole is wasting it away.

At the very least his coaches should be replaced and someone else should handle tactics. Ole can sit silently on the bench and watch the game on his ipad.

I mean, most of us are ole out. But comparing him to Macheda is just pure nonsense. He is a legend of this club right fully. How many teams in England have done the treble or have won the cl the way we did that season? Ole won it for us and we should be grateful. It's seeped deeply in United history.
