How long before Gary has meltdown on twitter because of these alleged stories?

This time i absolutely back players. This management team inexperience is the major reason.

He’s arrogant as feck, to be fair.

He had belittled Jose’s second finish before when he was at Molde. But now, was so full of himself for doing that with 7 points less.

He had explicitly said at the beginning that if the situation would become that bad, he would resign. The situation is worse than it ever was under Mourinho.

We have come too far and are close? To what Ole, to relegation?

Even funnier that it suggests we're still likely to finish top four under Ole, or at least they club think so.

Points per game wise we're on course to finish 9th.

Make no mistake, I’m with you on this one and I’m personally appalled to see a childhood hero and apparent club legend acting only in his own interest, treating our lads like shit and throwing unfit players on the pitch only to save his job. All I’m saying is that the man management myth has lived in times he was less obvious with his narcissism and arrogance, or perhaps we just refused to see it.
 
If the players feel this was and I’m 99% sure they do, then we will see an identical performance against Watford if Ole is still in charge.

I believe he has lost the dressing room and there is absolutely no way back from that regardless of what Wooddick and his cronies think.

I've changed my tune after watching West Ham and Arsenal today, they'll easily finish above us if things continue as they are. :nervous:
 
Once Ronaldo is coming out with misgivings he has to go imo. His views will carry a lot of weight and they will want to keep him happy.

Your opinion. There’s no opinion when it comes to true greats. I compared him to Origi because they have both had big impacts coming off the bench in a European Final. Liverpool won it within a smaller period of time which is why he may not be a legend to them.

I’m different. I associate legendary status to frat football players. But each to their own.
 
Rashford was sick with flu symptoms and didn't train for two days and yet Ole picked him to start, players surprised.

Again, Ole making strange selections and upsetting players in the squad, like he did with picking McGuire over Bailey despite being injured for 3 weeks.
 
It’s funny how simply downing tools hasn’t been enough to get the manager fired like it usually is, so the players have literally had to come out and tell the media they aren’t happy :lol:

Silly. It's not the club or the managers job to investigate or judge an individual, it's the courts job. As long as Sarr pleeds his innocence it ain't much the club can do until he's been on trial
 
The fact the Ole in camp still has some weary stragglers is a comforting reminder that the world isn't determined by logic and reason but is completely random and chaotic.
 
It's quite funny to see the same media hype happening again and again. Every time a team beats us, even if they look great while doing it, it's never caveated with "it's Ole's United". So now City are amazing again - though they're not in the best of form. Same with Liverpool who've dropped points since destroying United. Villa have sacked their manager. I guess it's only West Ham who've continued to do well since beating us.

We make them all look good.
 
It's sad to see Ole dragged through the mud, but if the players know it's not working and the board are too stubborn or sentimental to remove him, then they have no choice but to kick up a stink and pile on the pressure.

I’m sure they are true, the worst thing you can do when in freefall is to continue to pick the same players who are putting in weekly horror shows. It becomes a shit show at that point and toxicity starts to creep in. The players that are in any kind of form will be raging and the likes of Sancho, DvB, hell even Lingard, will be boiling, just as Bailly was at Leicester. He’s reached a point where only the non performers can back him, the rest are shaking their fecking heads and realising he hasn’t the fogiest. The constant formation changes will have done little to convince them.

He’s done.

We’ll never know the exact thinking with LvG but the fact remains he was sacked after missing out on top 4 on GD. Jose was 11 points off top 4 in December - top 4 was gone. Moyes it was mathematically impossible. So don’t think it’s a myth at all.
 
I hope player pressure finally tells. We have to bombard all the official united social media with "Ole out" so the sponsors get spooked.

The club should have shown leadership and done it. Looks like senior players and fans will have to do their dirty work for them.

What a way to treat a great servant of the club. He should have been allowed to escape with his dignity intact.

Look at City with Mendy. They've suspended him, pending the trial. That's literally the only thing to do. That's the right thing to do. Ole handled the situation horribly instead of doing the obvious, right thing to do.

The football side of things comes first. So you address that first. Keep Ole and this season will probably go south. Hire somebody that we want, which I absolutely believe Manchester United can do with our resources and pull, and things could quickly change for the better. Worst case scenario, we get an even better option available in the next 12-18 months and change again. So be it.

After this, the wheels are in motion for Woodward to go. If the club play their cards right, that is on its way to being solved. We've got the option of people like VdS possibly, Ragnick as DoF, Luis Campos. There's people available that can come in and help influence the football side of things from higher up.
 
Mata would be an interesting option as caretaker through the end of the season while we secure Ten Hag for next season.
