It's been a season of disappointing performances, slightly hyped by 2 big wins against a woeful Newcastle, and a super naive Leeds.
The other wins have either been late steals, or due to the opposition missing a last min pen.
1 point from Villa and Everton at home, then smashed v Leicester and Liverpool surely has to culminate in the end.
The whole team is playing under par with the possible exception of De Gea, which is strange irony after his last 2 years with a catalogue of costly errors.

They’re not football guys, that’s the problem. Nothing wrong with having these kinds of people on the board, but you also need people at the top who actually understand football. They’re financiers and not football men.

I think I've watched like two of their videos since they rebranded.

It was only our hearts that wanted to see Ole given a contract beyond the caretaker period. Our minds always told us he didn't have the credentials. He served the required purpose during that caretaker spell and has done lots of good things. Unfortunately he looks totally defeated and out his depth. He could have had a useful role at United, but not as manager. He tried his best, but the longer he stays now the worse it's going to get for him. This should be a "mutual agreement" kind of departure.
If there’s any truth to the players spouting their mouth off to the press to speed up his departure then they will simply down tools in the next games.
Would hate to see that though. Would rather the club take the bull by the horns.
It may be a PR exercise in order to not make it look like it was a sacking purely off the back of that one horrendous result.
Perhaps if they are looking to move Ole into another role within the club they would rather do it during a more stable period, allowing to save face somewhat.
Doesn’t mean they aren’t then looking at alternatives, they absolutely should be because there is a high chance players start to down tools now anyway which would take it out of the boards hands including SAF.

Every manager post-SAF has been backed with funds though...we spend roughly the same each Summer, regardless of who the manager is

Its what I said should happen and it makes sense we're distancing ourselves from Conte. Let's hope the board don't lose their nerve now and allow the likes of Murtough, Fletcher, Bout, Lawlor and Court, make the decision. The board should not interfere in the decision making process.
I can see a repeat of the Liverpool protest again in the not so distant future. Wonder will the club be docked points this time.
