Carry on like this and he has to get the job full time.

Haha, told you, don't underestimate a manager that loves and knows Manchester United from he's heart, it's crucial! Ole was the reason I started following United in the 90s, this seems lika a dream come true ♥️

The test for Ole will be how we approach a top 6 game. Cardiff is one thing, Liverpool at home will be another. Brilliant today though and great to just be smiling at a United performance.

From now on, this should be a minimum requirement to be Man Utd manager - modern attacking manager (I know it's only one game). No more defensive minded coward dinosaur manager in the mold of Moyes, LVG and Jose.

I think we'll go for Poch when the season is over but if Ole does well would you give him the job and pass on Poch?

Why not if he keep playing this way? Judging from Cardiff game, it was more entertaining and attacking than Poch's game for Spurs. And he is one of our own. He gets Man Utd.

I think Ole played better football than Poch. Spurs scored less 3 goals than us with a game in hand.

If he gets us into top four and/or the CL semis while entertaining the masses with the stuff we saw tonight it'd be foolish not to give him another season at the very least. Top four at this point would require close to title-winning form until the end of the season and probably a fair share of luck on top of that, but at that point why pay £50 million to buy out Poch's contract when you've already got a manager that's clearly working out well and has the absolute support of both the players and the fans?

Absolutely agree that Ole style is more entertaining and attacking than Poch's. I personally find Spurs' game a bit dull. However, we need to see more games and hope Ole can even do better and get the permanent job.

We're only 8 points behind Chelsea, and they have tricky away games to in-form Watford and Palace coming up next.

Chelsea will visit us at home which we're favourite. If we have 3 points or 4 points behind by the time they visit us, it could become an interesting battle for the top 4.

Without drawing too many conclusions, I'm pleasantly surprised that we didn't shut up shop at 3-1 and kept playing till the last minute. Refreshing change and long may it continue. There will be off days and dodgy results in the future but it's still great to see.

I personally hope Ole does well and gets the job too. Poch is a decent manager and is doing well at Spurs, but Ole for me plays the way I like seeing United play.

His post match comments and press conference were so refreshing to hear. Kept praising the players and telling how good they are which makes his job easy. This is the direct opposite of the other dude who kept chastising the players and told everyone who'll listen that they are shit. Gave credit to Carrick & McKenna for the work they been doing with the players; praised Mickey Shorts. Another thing that I really liked was when he said that he knew that we weren't going to beat Cardiff if game became a fight, they were bigger and better than us if the ball is in the air, so we needed to keep the ball down and pass & move it quickly. Which again complete opposite to the last guys approach where he wanted to go us into the battles that were not playing to our strengths.

Everything to like about Ole so far. This run of relatively easier games will provide a perfect opportunity for him to freely implement his ideas without worrying too much about the opposition. Some times a little bit of luck & finding yourself at the right place at right time is as important as all the talent and hard work.

Why are you so keen on poch?

He is good against smaller teams but he is a big failure against the big teams. Let's see how Ole does againt the top 6 sides before we judge him

He gets the club and how the club should play.

It's something that's been missing since Fergie. Yes we will lose games along the way, but this is something i can get behind

It‘s been one game! Everyone is excited right now, and rightly so. But behind doors, the club really has to act professionally. Many caretaker managers failed in their first proper season as well. So if we have in mind to find the perfect manager in the summer and it‘s not Ole, so be it. We will be thankful that he stepped in but let‘s see how the next games go before we get too romantic about it

I don't know if this has been commented, but I was reviewing his twitter account and some time ago he offered himself to sign a subbuteo player that some man made of him.

He asked the man to send it to Molde FK, signed it and sent it back. Such a class act.

My mate who is a die-hard United fan always bet with his heart, well I'm also guilty of that but even I am not that foolish to think of doing it with our current predicament. He actually placed a £5,000 bet on us to win the Champions League at 60/1. Odds dropped massively when Jose was sacked, make that of what you will. I wonder what would happen if Ole does a Di Matteo and win us the Champions League? Surely he deserves to be our permanent manager?

Your friend has too much money or a serious gambling problem.

This place is too knee jerk..

I loved our first game but I fear people are building ridiculous expectations for this tenure and when it doesn't happen, some will turn against him.

I've seen it happen before.

On another note, I just watched back his goal reel. Didn't realise he scored as many as 126 for us!

Its not only Chelsea its Arsenal as well. Saying that there's 20 games left to make up 8 points. Im feeling 100% more confident now, than under Mr toxic.
