Our 4th win this season in 90 minutes.
Yep, I' m done watching this. People who still believe that a manager who has relegated Cardiff is capable of managing this club are deluded.

He clearly has, we are a laughing stock for keeping him on due to some strange obsession that this isn't his fault.
I think the only reason he is being kept around is because Woodward is heavily invested in him. In my view, the Glazers will demand far reaching changes the moment the club is forced into another expensive managerial pay off and that's on Woodward for jumping the gun. It seems this will drag on for another few months and we now have a kind fixture list until the international break so maybe a few wins could buy him time but we clearly aren't progressing with him.

There was a thread a few months ago before the season started on what we as fans expect from Ole. There were four options and one of them was something like 'not finishing in the top four but showing good performances'.

Think that was the one I chose because I accepted that Ole would need time to build his philosophy - a bit like what Lampard is doing at Chelsea.

Unfortunately, unlike Lampard's Chelsea, we haven't seen any sort of game plan or where we want to go with our football. We struggle to know how to break teams down unless its on a counter, and as the manager, Ole needs to come up with strategies in order to do this.

People will argue our team isnt good enough, and while we definitely need quite a few creative players, we should still be showing more, in my opinion.

I watch teams like Villa, Norwich, Brighton and Sheff Utd playing some really good football and creating loads of chances, and cant help but think we should be producing better.

Our play still seems rigid and the tempo is embarrasing. Soemthing needs to change!

Most of the mess we are in isn't Ole's fault but my word he's clueless. You'd think as a former striker he'd have an idea about scoring goals and making chances but we seem clueless. He's got to go for me.

Glazers, Woodward and Ole all out in one swoop hopefully before June.

I agree with this but the problem is that our manager has already been given a ready made excuse by the fan base and the media that the squad isn't good enough and he is now doing a Moyes, in the latter part of his doomed rein, batting time until he reaches the summer window. Zero accountability because it's not his fault and he has signed a couple of good players so with time he is Fergie 2.0!

Lingard as lone striker really was absolutely inspired.

Christ, how can a win feel so empty? He hasn’t got a clue, he’s got no idea how to turn this around. The worst thing was that they actually looked the better team, Lingard effort aside did we actually create a chance from open play? Absolute shite. Woodward needs sacking for letting it come to this too, fecking idiot.
This result is meaningless to me. Partizan absolutely dominated us and we come away with a smash and grab win having parked the bus for dear life. There's no positives to be taken from this match at all really.

All i can say is, i cannot wait for him to go.

OGS are you Mourinho in disguise?
Because I can't see any part of our play that has changed. We sit back, counterattack, hope for a lucky goal and not to concede. While it is understandable that one cannot work miracles with some of the players, one should at least be able to coach the team into passing out of defence against teams like Rochdale, Astana and this version of Partizan. Instead, we pump the ball long, hope they make a mistake and we might score. This is the most simplistic, cowardly, planless football I have ever seen against teams that are so bad (no offence) that I can't come up with a suitable comparison.

If the people involved with football at the club thinks that Parking the bus is a viable solution for long term success, then we are f*cked. And if our manager is unable or not interesting in trying to play possession against considerably weaker opposition then how and when should we try to play out of defence? This is just shocking.

I just want to take a minute and say that this abysmal football is coming from a guy who claims he knows "The United Way" What a god damn joke this is. He's a fraud collecting massive wages when the reality is he doesn't even have what it takes to manage Wolves.

I really couldn't care less that some people want him to stay for 2 more years thats all on you but the truth is managerial wise he's an absolute clown. I'll always love him as the player but the manager holy feck he needs to retire. No football fan deserves to watch this shambolic style of football ever being played.

Ole laying the foundations but looks like the concrete has been poured on the players in the trench he's hiding in.

AZ showing us how to wallop Astana while we struggle with a late 1-0 at OT

Our football under him makes me want to scratch out my eyes. Every second is killing something inside of me.

Some people here wrote “away curse broken”, it’s not a curse, we are an awful team managed by awful manager. It’s not like we are playing good football and losing due to a curse.

I don’t know how Manchester United FC become that bad in six years, it’s unbelievable really.

I genuinely think if he stays 2 more years I might of even stopped watching football by then, as this tumescent rubbish gives me nothing to look forward to at all.

Of course he knows the 'United Way'. The United way has nothing to do with being successful on the pitch or having high standards. He knows he can afford to be monumentally absymal in the manager's seat and feel no heat. All you need to do is simply be a subservient manager who doesn't rock the boat, smile a lot, talk about culture, youth, how it will be painful before the glory, how the boys are playing great in training and bla bla bla. Is that not what the United way is all about? Give me a break!

People call him defensive manager. I don't think he is a defensive manager, he is just not a good manager. Each game is confirming that. We still look unstable at the back and our players don't know what to do with the ball. That's just bad management not defensive.

Tend to agree with this. We're shaky at the back, cant string two passes together, dont shoot. Eye bleeding stuff. I'm not sure what his style is supposed to be defensive or attacking. Whatever it is it's awful

We looked like a Jose Mourinho team tonight; parking the bus and hoping to hit on the counter.

Ole has caved.
We do that every game, regardless of whether it's Liverpool, Partizan, Rochdale or West Ham on the other side. And people are saying that he showed his tactical nous by nullifying Liverpool. fecking mental.

I just noticed Alkmaar defeated Astana 6-0. The same Astana we barely defeated by an individual skill from Greenwood in 73 minute. Let that sink in.

Wow 6-0, that’s embarrassing on us.

Yeah, it’s not like we’ve never narrowly beaten someone we should have hammered before...

It’s like Twitter this place now. Brainless goons everywhere.

People will tell you that he can't implement a style until he has signed 11 players and shifted 20 out. He has been given a ready made excuse and doesn't need to deliver. Also helps that his wagon is stitched to Woodward's so the latter will protect him and the club will drift for the foreseeable future.

Not when the entire season have been like that. Why don't some of you get today wasn't an anomaly, but rather the rule under Ole ?

That same AZ also has a 25 million budget and was more deserving of a win when they played Manchester United....

Not sure I am too worried about the performances in the EL, at the moment the results matter. It is the PL and the next game I am worried about. The fact they have a striker who can actually do damage and again it is what some would class as a lower side, so will they actually motivate themselves to perform. Norwich is our important game.

Man, I wish I can underperform so much at my job and if I talk about the positive future and my capabilities getting better, I will not get sacked. I m not seeing how Ole can turn this around after consistently producing bad football. Even Spurs who have ended their cycle still produces better football to watch than us despite being as bad result wise.
