We dropped points but did just well enough that there won't be any more pressure on him. He's not going anywhere unfortunately.

I’m waiting the Yotube compilation titled, “How to mismanage 1-0 leads by OgS”; was crying out for a change in personnel/ tactics; he brings on Martial for Rash changing nothing & we concede seconds later.

Get rid.

I am not talking about the result. I am talking about his tactic and game plan. Even if we ended first half 0-0 we can still see that his plan worked very well again Liverpool, who is flying before this match.

People keep talking about how Ole is "clueless tactically", which is just not true.

Of course its not - he is tactically very good - but there is only so much he can do with these players.

Does Ole not deserve credit for outdoing Klopp this afternoon?

His tactical decision to deploy us in a 352 completely nullified Liverpool this afternoon, something which no club has been able to achieve against them all season.

Credit where it deserves?

He’s a counter attack manager. Can he play on the front foot vs Norwich next season. Easy to motivate players in a game where we basically had nothing to lose. Next week against Norwich we need to play on the front foot and we only two points clear of the relegation zone. So it’s still nowhere good enough.

Counter attack manager but sadly we not Everton for him.
Yeah. We could have dominated Liverpool were it not for a couter attacking manager...

Briliant game plan, especially the first half. One thing i'l say, we are still not comparable fitness wise to Liverpool but better then last season.

Outdoing? Are you serious?

No idea what he is smoking. Parking the bus and hoofing the ball forward to our fast players was what everyone predicted us to do anyway. And we had that before. Also it's not where we are struggling anyway. This should be the what we are actually good at. Still can't get a win.

Tactics were OK but you can’t expect us to defend with Rojo, Lindeljof and Young for an hour. Really poor judgment and that’s what cost us the game. We should have kept going in the same way.

Negative minded manager. Rubbish tactician, fans deluded defensive mistake arguments, how about Solskjaer implements the movement to score more than one goal. Liverpool have played average most of the season.

boring second half, outstanding first half. We are desperate for attacking threats. Should've brought Martial on for Pereira 15 min's earlier. Other than that, half reasonable and expected a draw today. i did bet on a home win however as I did fancy a 1-0 home, with rashford the scorer.

He set the team up well against a far superior side and was unlucky not to win.

Only criticism is why take Rashford off when he was playing well yet he doesnt when he previously hasn't

Good job.

Weak squad and injuries on top on top of that.. the players played well. Had a plan. Nearly worked a treat..

Will take the result..

More games with effort like this will be good enough till Jan.. then all eyes on Woody..

Will the weak squad excuse be used against Norwich or how we lost to Newcastle?

Set us up well to counter their attacking set up but again we played awful after scoring, and I thought we sat off too much towards the end. Not a bad result but nothing that should grant him a stay of execution. Results like that paper over the cracks and delay the inevitable.

Yet another match where we paper over the cracks and delay the inevitable. It was yet another game where Ole's in-game management was terrible. How many games we had under him where we go 1-0 up and then go ultra defensive just to concede? He never learns and will never do.

Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. If it is so easy why have no other team managed to get points from them during their long run in the league?

Our supporters are devoid of any realism let alone credit where it's due.

It won't, we played the same as we always do hoping for a mistake to get a goal. We don't have an attacking game plan at all. And if we can't get an attacking game against Liverpool we won't suddenly roll up to Norwich and blow them away.

Rendered Liverpool completely toothless with the setup but then made weird changes to mess it all up. Still played like utter cowards though, sitting so deep to protect a 1-0 lead. If it was Jose, there would be riots on here.

I agree on one thing, he's very negative. All this false bravado about being an attacking team and here we are camping near our box with 40 mins on the clock still.

Anyone still believe the squad is shite or it’s more how we are set up and trained?

When very rarely Ole gets the tactics right we look like a good team.

Of course the change in the second half has outdone the good work in the first.

What you going on about? I’m referring to what he is a counter attack manager. He’s not going to change. Watch us crumble next week to Norwich, when we have to come out and play.

He has to go, small club mentality dropping down at home, freaking humilliating.

He wont get as much a stick since all thought we would get beated by Liverpool but feck me his tactic was embarrassing.

This was a classic Mourinho performance, one which almost all on this board hated but now it's a tactical masterclass?

What do you mean damned? I’m questioning can he motivate the lads vs Norwich and actually play on the front foot. Or shall we sit on the counter vs them too and hoof it up.

No need to bash him today. Got the tactics right and with a bit more luck would have got the 3 points that very few people were giving us any chance of before the game.

Of course it’s disappointing to surrender another lead and it’s a habit we need to cut out but personally given all the negativity this season I will choose to take some positives today.

Exactly, Jose would be public enemy number one with how we set up today.

The major issue is still a lack of an attacking game. If we had gone a goal down against pool we just don't have the know how to change it up.

Once again after our lead he decided to park the bus. And once again we conceded a goal. When you stop playing after 45 minutes you will concede a goal. It is simple as that. It happened now against Saints, Liverpool, Arsenal and Wolves. Even against Rochdale we stopped playing after we scored.
I can't wait that he goes away from this club. People shit on Jose and don't want Allegri because of that while we have coach who knows only to play defensive football.

OGS invited the pressure and resulted to us conceding.

Ridiculous to play narrow when we have three defenders at the back.

Poor tactical decision.

People will moan as usual but he got it right today. Good tactics and the players were very motivated.

Undone by poor personnel as usual. Young and Rojo fecked it for the goal.

This was a classic Mourinho performance, one which almost all on this board hated nut now it's a tactical masterclass?
You have to consider circumstances. An off form team decimated by injuries playing against an on form European champions which have not lost a game for some time.

He deserves credit. But he's not outdone anybody. Creating is more difficult than nullifying. Also, Livepool were absolutely awful.

He's done well to get us organised and playing with energy but at the end of the day playing like limited underdogs is easier than fixing our actual problems which is where Ole is failing.

Brilliant tactics, again hugely unlucky in the end. First game this season where Liverpool actually looked lost and we have half squad out/just after injuries.

Anyone still believe the squad is shite or it’s more how we are set up and trained?

When very rarely Ole gets the tactics right we look like a good team.

I've always said this it's the perception of the players which is bad. Half of them aren't as bad as their performances portray. There's no calibre of player that Ole is going to improve, he's just not a top tier manager.

I liked what I saw today from ole but its a rare exception rather then the norm

Why is he that? Rubish. We have problems breaking low blocks due to the players available not that Ole is a counter attacking manager  there is no such thing
