We can rightfully moan about the owners and their bizarre frugality, but one of the basic fundamentals of being a football manager is improving the players what you’ve got. Who’s improved under OGS in the past 10 months?

Look at Lampard and how already Abraham and Mount are putting goals up. He couldn’t buy anyone and the standout player had left.

Harsh on McTominay. There's decent player in there.
Yes but We shouldn't rely on him, poor lad needs help.

Not like he or us have got a choice. They are all we have at the moment sadly. Need to wait it out till January and summer windows to even look good again.
Always had this feeling Ole is trying to make Lingard and Rashford the core of his team... that's worrying.

Chelsea could pull a manager's name out of a hat 100 times and 100 times what they'd pick would beat anything we do. Even their ex-players are better managers than our legends

Martial was looking better when he actually puts a shift in.

But it comes back to the owners and management. What due diligence was done, to even remotely suggest that Ole could do the job? It was just a tactic from them to get some good feel back in the club.

What angers me is that it must have been Oles choice to sell Rom and Alexis and also not replace Herrera. Believing in Greenwood, Andreas, Chong and Gomes to step up is naive and stupid. None of them have shown that they can do what Hererra, Rom or Sanchez had done at the level that they did it at.

If it was the summer transfer budget standing in the way of getting proper replacements/upgrades then Woody has absolutely fecked it up for us. Ole might have picked the defence as the best position needing sorting. But this still doesn't explain selling 3 of our senior players and promoting a group of very inexperienced players.

When Looking at Chelsea and how they were forced into promoting their youth players and how Lampard showed 'faith' in that particular group of players, they have all had experience at championship clubs and good clubs at that. Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount are showing that their loan moves were pivotal In their development. And Timori and Callum Hudson-Odoi are top players. In short, Chelsea's Immediate future looks very good and we need another few years to get our young players hitting their potential.

In my opinion Ole and woody have been negligent when assessing the squad and setting targets for the season. We will need another 2 summers to adequately recruit the quality needed to fill in the gaping holes in the starting 11. This just means other clubs will push further ahead while we do it. Worrying times ahead I think.

Go and read his quote today. Further up here. He has admitted it was his decision and he was happy about it. Stop trying to take the blame away from our impotent Norwegian wood
He is not going to come out and say that he is not happy about the situation, he is not the type to rock the boat.

Please don't tell me try to stop giving my opinion. Everyone is entitled to their opinion even if you don't agree with it. Just like I don't agree with your opinion in the bit in bold where you are insulting Ole, I think it is a bit uncalled for but it is your opinion and I respect your right to say it, as that is what you believe :)

Lose to Newcastle today and surely something has got to give? by all means I hope we thump them 0-5, but I really really can't see that happening.

Not going to happen the board will wait until top 4 is mathematically impossible, thats the way its been.

With Mourinho was different because the air was poisonous, but with Ole everything’s fine, appart from the results and performances of course, the team is at good spirit apparently
, he is positive so id say he’ll be around until february/march when we are out of all competition for top 4.

Keen to see how he attempts to nullify Longstaff today. You know - the only midfielder in Europe that Ole rates.

I couldnt care less. He is fecking terrible as a manger. Let's be honest. When a team has a bad result you expect to see a reaction. We go the other way, even worse the next game. His coaching, his tactics, his motivation is crap. Get him out quickly before we sell Pogba and sign Longstaff

I think Pogba will be going anyway whether Ole stays or gets sacked.

Any manager worth his salt would devise a plan B when we don't have Pogba that allows us to bypass the midfield completely.

And who can blame him. Our team draws away 0-0 to a bunch of postmen and bin men on a plastic pitch whilst not having a single shot on goal, and he thinks it is a good performance. Pogba must be looking around thinking the same as us fans. "is this guy for real"

I don’t get why we’ve completely abandoned the diamond again. It worked well Away to teams last year.

fred/Matic/pereira/mctominay with James and rashford up top.

Awful. But Oles at the wheel and he needs 5 years so we can play well against the worst teams in the league.

Awful, awful stuff honestly makes me wanna cry. I know we don't have alot of good players but isn't that the whole point of coaching? With good coaching even average players will look good. Ole is not doing a good job at all.

Useless manager struggling against worst teams in the prem. Needs to feck off, the sooner the better.

The players are shite. Ole and only ole is the only manager in the world that can improve us from here in and needs 5 more windows to get us To top 4 of league 1

5 league goals in the last 6.5 games . Not scored more than 1 in any competition since the opening game and we have played against some awful teams

Personnel he has no control over injuries but what's our style and pattern of play?

It makes it even worse seeing what Lampard - a man who's not only had a fraction of the time Ole has had, but has lost their best player and spent zilch compared to Ole spending over a hundred million - is doing at Chelsea.

Stop fecking playing Rashford for christs sake. It’s proper doing my head in now.

Heard him on a prematch interview saying that because the team has too many injuries, they can't work on stuff much.

No wonder there's not any pattern of play we've seen lately except play it long for Rashy.

I have to say, I have no fecking idea what he's trying to do.

He had a good thing going in attack for about 8 games last season and he's decided to go back to the LvG/Mourinho guidebook of attacking impotence.

WHY?
