Winning against Palace at home is his fault. We are not asking for a league title. The way he set the team up was already an alarm ringing

Its on OGS; hes not his own manm trying to be a SAF replica, with this fantasical notion of buying english talent, who lets face it arent the greatest, and we dont even go for the best any more ie the wayne rooneys and sterlings for example.

He let Herrera, Lukkaku and fellaini go without bringing replacemnts in their position, thinking our current youth players would suddenly become world beaters, prepare for a long season like this. He didnt get the job on merit only through association.
This post show how clueless some of you fans are about football! Absolutely shit show. Personal errors lead to this defeat. And lack of a number 10 and impact subs. Referee and a bit of bad luck. You are absolutely clueless!

Not gonna put this one on him really. When VAR ignores a blatant red for them and a blatant pen, and then the one you do get gets missed by the player, when players slip on one v one's with the keeper, when your team is undone by a goalkick and your CB not winning a routine header, and then your goalkeeper drops a clanger in the 93rd minute right after you equalized finally... How can anyone put that on the manager? "One of those days" where nothing at all goes right, even though the performance itself wasn't awful. Just big feck ups at the wrong moments.

Very level headed posted. Completely agree with you.

Why are we playing this formation when we don't have the personnel? We have no able number 10 and McTominay and Pogba are not enough.

Nah, defense is all right, no depth in midfield or attack, not consistent enough forwards, zero creativity from midfield except for Pogba, our no.10 hasn’t scored in months.
Until Rashford and Martial kick a level or two, we’ll get nowhere.

Team is poor.
Team is poor but not 3 wins in 15 poor, can't believe people still defend Ole like their own child after the shitshows we see every single week.

If you keep missing penalties every week, then you will lose .. what else could have Ole done ..Stay away from him..

Losing our second best MF, and selling our main striker on the last day of the window without any replacements and here we are wondering why it is going wrong?

We don't though.
I must have imagined it.
Well that’s football for you. And I mean we could do something about it by working on set plays. It’s all bit scatter gun at the minute. I mean I’m not saying Ole needs to go after watching that but he’s to blame today. We shouldn’t be reliant on luck or our own goalkeeper to win us points.
Agree to disagree. A lot more happened today that hurt us that had nothing to do with the manager.

Said months ago, good or bad after transfer window is on him, there is no hiding behind some bullshit.

All three newcomers have done well so far. That's not the problem at all.

Also pretty sure Solskjaer was not the person holding back on bringing more players in. According to the Athletic he nagged Woodward all summer to complete Maguire, and there were numerous reports of us trying to get at least another player in.

I was convinced by his good run of form to eventually say stick with him and give him a proper transfer window and see what he can do with the team.

I dont like the way he's taken the team since then.

Then who is and who do we replace him with?

Will replacing the manager stop De Gea from being Joe Hart and will it make Rashford and Pogba start scoring penalties?

Init... no manager ever has managed to get a team to function like a... team.

We're fecking clueless and quite a few people aren't surprised. Jokers like you spent all of last spring crying about how he needed his own signings and a preseason and we're just as woeful as we were under Jose and for most of Oles time last season. 3 wins in 15 isn't just resolved by time, for feck sakes. Incredible that we made one signing for a forward line and then we throw on a 17 year old who looks nowhere near ready for this level.

Our three impact subs:
Young
Greenwood
Mata

Hilarious.

And why the lack of fecking trust in someone like Gomes ? For a manager supposed to be giving youth more chances, and after selling attacking players like Lukaku and soon Sanchez he should be giving the youth more chances at least as a something to defend him for.

Eh. I can’t be arsed to say our manager isn’t good enough anymore. Our players are just really poor and this is 100% on the board. That tosser of a CEO has to go, along with our inept board.

Lingard is one of the worst starters we’ve had in a long time and I can’t see how anyone can defend him anymore. Rashford is all about pace and makes the wrong decisions most of the time. Mctominay is a mid-table midfielder, Lindelof seldom has major brainfarts, and our bench consists of players who have either overstayed their welcome, have no place being at the club in the first place, or just kids.

We’re a shambles all around.

We finished 2nd with an absolutely woeful backline under Mourinho. But I’ve always prioritised being solid defensively so I gave Mourinho more time than most
We need to get managers who only has loyalty to winning and not to players.

If OGS gong to suck LingShits di*k then have him on the right wing. Put a player that can be creative or a goal scorer in the 10 position.

Good attack makes a good defence. We are not athletico Madrid who plays to soak up the attack and counter on the break ffs

Well said.

We simply can't feck this season up. We absolutely have to get top 4. What worries me most is that he looks terrified every time we go behind, compare that to Fergie who used to look like he was going to blow a fuse.

Another game managed like a ten-year-old. More and more attacking players as the game progresses. We essentially had Mason Greenwood as a third midfielder second half and ended up with Maguire up front with Martial, Rashford, Greenwood and James looking for scraps. Just fecking ludicrous. We need a midfield and we don’t even use the players we’ve got.

No other PL would look twice at Ole. He’d struggle to get interest from any aspirational Championship club even. He’s garbage tactically.

Just don’t think he has the authority or clout to be a success. Not sure the players will respect him or his ideas. He’s a legend and always will be but this is only going to end one way unless he drastically changes the way things are going.

No midfield, a keeper who is past it, a left back who is two stone overweight but gets a free pass because he is English and a manager who is so happy to be there he won’t make tough decisions. Good times.

Does it matter? Who gives a feck, same bullshit last 5 years or so, hell even more.

He's quite clearly part of the problem though, anyone says otherwise is deluded. He was never of the quality we needed to turn this ship around. Lovely bloke, but the jobs too big for him.

Who does have the quality then? We have tried LVG and Jose. Both i would say have the experiance and quality in different regards yet they failed.

It doesnt matter who the captain of the ship is if the ships fecked

I have become a doubter. I think he was the easy cheap option. The nonsense over penalty takers wasnt a big deal in itself but to me it raised questions over his leadership. You have to be clear in what you are doing, not leave it to the two to sort it out

I do wonder if he is too much of a yes man with our hierarchy. We have lost key players and not replaced and he seems to accept that

Maybe just maybe we have gone from an OTT forthright boss in Mourinho to someone who is perhaps less tough and maybe doesnt command as much respect.

It's going to take some turnaround now, considering the context of the summer and end of last season.

If Solskjaer fails, can we finally point the finger where it should go? Ed Woodward and the Glazers.

Sack him. Not a clue. He just says what the fans want to hear and delivers on nothing. We started with Lingard and finished the game with Ashley Young and Juan Mata. If we lost but played youngsters like Gomes and Greenwood from the start I could take it a bit better. We are still playing the deadwood from last year. There is not a hope in hell we will finish in the top 4.

Agreed. Although ultimately I still don't see him lasting beyond December. While today was not on him I think you will find these kind of games recurring in the coming weeks. Because fundamentally we are not good. These things happen to bad (relatively) teams.

He needs a top class coach on his staff who understands how to break down teams that defend deep.

This is the 6th season in a row where you can predict where Man utd will be deficient in and nothing has been done about it. You know our midfield was weak and you fcuk all about it.

There is literally no interchange in play when opposition sit deep. There is zero creativity. Every team will just sit back from now on and we would just lose. I don't care about missing penalities, we have zero set piece presence and any open play dynamics apart from counterattacks.

This is the first season in a long time where I actually don't look forward to a manutd game, I just don't know why.

Good post. Yeah, we have a shit squad and are shit in the transfer market but we're also coached woefully since years. No semblance of tactical effectiveness. If we cant counter, we have nothing to offer

We’ve done it all. May as well back him. Who else are we going to get?

At the time we should have pushed the boat out and got Poch but sentiment won out. That isn’t even with hindsight. Poch was the best candidate by far. Sigh.

I hope ole will be a success here but he has to learn. When we play against teams that sit deep we don’t need to deep lying midfielders
