He’s spot on re Everton though.I just didnt expect Danny Blind to criticize him at all. It's out of nowhere.

We have the 2nd best possession % in the league behind City. 3rd most shots in the league.
We are very prone to counter attacks which is one of the things the manager needs to address, no need to exagerrate it into being 'dominated'.
Well Ole's been in this situation before and he's still hereThe beginning of the end has started and now it’s just a matter of time before the sacking is on the table if our results doesn’t dramatically improve. The tactically clueless narrative is already set among large parts of our supporters and the media is just waiting for the right moment to let the shit storm starts. A few more losses and there is no way back.
No manager survives long term in such negative circumstances, United legend or not. His reputation as a second tier manager is the talking point and without Wins or trophies there isn’t much to defend and that will in the end be his downfall.
Wouldn't have said so. It took me my surprise to be honest.Does Danny Blind often speak about a club manager the way he has just spoken about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer?
Dutch people are always so frank and honest, and things aren't meant in a bad way. I'm just he wasn't criticising, rather he was just stating something he observed.Does Danny Blind often speak about a club manager the way he has just spoken about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer?
He is friends with LvG who still isn't happy about the manner of his sacking, he will know Donny well. He did bring up about why Ole is in the job.Dutch people are always so frank and honest, and things aren't meant in a bad way. One of those 'Oh I shouldn't have said that' moments, then tries to backtrack a bit when the damage is already done. This was a bit of a strange interview. I agree with pretty much everything Blind has said here, but then the last line he says that no matter what you think of Ole now isn't the time to change, which is weird if you read the rest of the interview he's basically saying Ole isn't up to it without using those words.
Maybe the point is that he has gone back to being a coach as he realises he is not a very good manager.Maybe Ole can get some advice from Danny Blind based on Blind‘s own successful and inspirational managerial career?
Where did I say we were 'better in possession' than them? Why don't you check an entire season's possesion stats instead of 7 games, where we played relatively easy opponents, while Chelsea, Liverpool and City have played each other?
Oh yeah, cause that would break your delusion that we're better in possession than them.
Well Ole's been in this situation before and he's still here

Easy. The problem with hysterical overreactions is that that people can't back up their claims.People keep swinging at you and missing
Blind leading the Blind !Maybe Ole can get some advice from Danny Blind based on Blind‘s own successful and inspirational managerial career?
Anyone can have an angle on saying something, do you actually think anything he said is wrong?Does anyone care what Danny Blind thinks about Management? He a failure. And he had a vested interest to bash Ole and defend Donny. He also likely has a grudge with United because he son failed here too.

Daley Blind won 3 major trophies at Utd in 4 seasons.
Ole has won 0 in 3 seasons.
If Blind was a ‘failure’ here, what does that make Ole?

Same number of trophies as Ruud got. I’m guessing Blind was a smash hit in the same way?
Dreadful accounting, dude.
Major trophies?
So what would you call PL and CL trophies then?
The others are trophies, yes. Major? Wishful thinking.

It certainly is hilarious the way some fans will throw everyone under the bus including our players past and present to defend Ole.Daley Blind won 3 major trophies at Utd in 4 seasons.
Ole has won 0 in 3 seasons.

You can‘t just count trophies. RvP or Ruud for example with only 1 PL trophy (both heavily contributed to it) will always be a much more important player in United’s history than someone like Blind. The point isn’t that Daley Blind is a Utd legend, the point is that if Blind is viewed as a failure with 3 trophies in 4 seasons, what is Ole?
Or have the standards been pathetically lowered so greatly for Ole that such a comparison is avoided?
Oh good to know they are all equally important to some people … doesn’t change that in truth PL and CL have their own place and anybody with even the slightest knowledge of football knows this. It’s an official term, as most football fans with even a moderate amount of intellect know…
The Europa League, FA Cup and League Cup are major trophies - as are the PL and CL.
It means ‘proper trophy’ - google ‘major football trophies’ and a suitably simple explanation should arrive pretty swiftly.

And Ole has nothing to do with Blind‘s time at United.
I chose 99 because it had some of my favourite players ever in the team and because it was a unique season and achievement and definitely not because of the FA Cup.‘Counting trophies’ is how success is judged at clubs like Utd.
That’s why you chose ‘united 99’ as your username
You didn’t choose it because Alex Ferguson had a nice smile, did you - you chose it because Utd won 3 major trophies that season.
And that’s why Ole’s reign as Utd manager is viewed as a failure by everyone in the footballing World who isn’t a simpering, nostalgic moron.
If he’d won a couple of trophies by now - which he should have - then he wouldn’t be under such pressure right now. Because ultimately, at clubs like Utd - trophies are what matters.
That was and is Fergie’s view also btw. It isn’t anything new at Utd.
Indeed, the irony is that if Ole had the managerial ability to win a League Cup, a Europa League or an FA Cup, it’d be the likes of you and Eriku etc who’d be the first to claim it was a great achievement and a signal that he was succeeding.
And of course, you’d be right… for the same reason that as of now, you’re wrong.
Because counting trophies is what matters.
We completely disagree.‘Counting trophies’ is how success is judged at clubs like Utd.

Why are some of you so salty about what Danny Blind said? Do all of you disagree with what he said in the interview then?
