I feel sorry for him he's clearly out of his depth bit this stupid club will not realise it till it's too late. Cue another shit season
Yeah but do you base that on? I can't have blind faith anymore, it's too much for me. Not only that, we don't know what Ole wants and how he wants to play. I have huge concerns, I think we're fecked
I think Ole is not the right man for the job, our stupid board made the stupid (surprise surprise) decision by offering him a permanent job in March. Keeping him will do more harm than good so I think he should be sacked at the end of the season. We are just delaying the inevitable otherwise. What's your solution ? Sack yet another manager and start afresh, until the next manager loses a few games and we come full circle ?
Exactly. And if the point is we're nine points further away, then what about:Top of the league was never the goal though was it.
So try with another world class manager. One world class manager came in, won trophies, left because he became negative on the club. So get another world manager, don’t deliberately go unproven and inexperienced just because José got sacked.
City, Liverpool, Spurs, proven world class manager, world class recruitment
United - no long term plan, no world class manager, terrible recruitment for players
Seriously? Ten Hag? Based on Ajax's Champions League campaign... You do realise Overmars and Van Der Sar put that team together.
We signed Pogba last time we were in the EL so we'll be fine regardless. Ten Hag isn't exactly going to have the worlds best players lining up to join United.
LVG was one of the best in the world when we signed him? Jose was on his way down too, but did well for 2 season until he got bored and it went to shit.

This. People must stop talking as there is no managers out there. We made a mistake. Hire another. Mistake again? Hire another, ffs.Maybe gamble on a manager that offers more?
Not wanting to replace Ole is like not wanting to replace Alexis. “Sell Alexis? So what do we do? Buy another player until he becomes crap and start the cycle again?”
YES, we should keep sacking failing managers and players until we find the right one, giving time to a failing manager is just wasting time. Summer is the perfect chance to find a new one.
Proven to be an excellent PL manager. He was excellent at Southampton. Spurs were right to appoint him
Yet another manager? We've had less fecking managers than Madrid post Fergie.
The number of managers you hire and fire is not a barometer of success in this sport.
I just dont see how anyone could favor Ole over poch at this point. One has pushed spurs to a top 4 consistent level while not being overly backed financially and turns players into better talents ,and the other one had a good new manager bump and has had some success in Norway.
Poch wasn't "proven world class" when they recruited him unless you have a different definition of world class. For me it means signing one of the best managers in the world. Poch wasn't at the time despite doing well with Southampton. So try with another world class manager. One world class manager came in, won trophies, left because he became negative on the club. Does he come with Harry Kane?Proven to be an excellent PL manager. He was excellent at Southampton. Spurs were right to appoint him
Nah, this is the through process Woodward was talking about.
Every fan of every clubs thinks the youngsters will play in Europa league and it never happens. It's a good cup to win and you can bet your life Ole will try to win it.
With all due respect, people are not thinking deeply. Under Jose, these boys were playing crap at the start of the season. Jose gets fired and during those first ten games, they played the kind of football that I last saw under Sir Alex. People know I have always backed Jose here. But at that time, even I had to call Jose a real prick. Like everyone, the fingers pointed at one man, the fired manager. And then suddenly, they crumble again. Crashed is a better description! After they had made their point, after requests for new contracts were not heeded for some stars, after Madrid came calling for some, after the new manager said they were fine and that they only needed encouragement, after they fortunately beat PSG in Paris and the world hailed them.
Think folks. Look at the patterns.
For me, the only way out for us is for the board to quickly restructure the club. They should get a good director of football and budget massive spending in the Summer. They should fully back the manager and clip the wings of the players. If he wants ANY player out or that player should be sold, whether or not he is a super star. If he wants any player in, they should get him that player even if he is 36 years old!
These will not guarantee we will be back at the top but it will surely start pushing us in that direction.
Absolute nonsense.I think Ole is not the right man for the job, our stupid board made the stupid (surprise surprise) decision by offering him a permanent job in March. We have hit rock bottom and everyone (except some kids on here) can see that we have a very bad setup with Woodward and a player culture who is toxic.
Ole has a great standing with most United fans. He can be hard as nails, make no mistake on that. He will act as a gentleman public, but no one will escape him behind closed doors.
So imo I think big things will happen. It will take time, but it will be in the right direction.
Ok.Absolute nonsense.
I want to give him a chance, but I do start to think that to fire him would be the best. There is so much negativity around and I do think we need a fresh start.

It's the players responsibility to be fit. Guardiola even said "I'm not their dad" when talking about some of his players. No one needs to tell a pro getting 100k pw to be in shape. The standards have fallen so far we even excuse the players for being unfit.
another gem.He should be ashamed of himself excepting such great responsibility while knowing full well he doesn't possess anything like the qualities required to take them on.
Madrid had Ronaldo. We have the likes of Lukaku. They could afford to swap managers because they had the best player in the world, we can't afford to do it because each new manager changes the squad and players, only to get sacked and leave the next manager with a mess. At some point you have to break the cycle and get behind a manager who you feel an install the ethos you want here.

All clubs doing that. Small, medium and big. So what is the problem? Because it is not United way?
Maybe not deemed world class at the time, but it was well documented how much of an excellent up and coming manager he was in world football, and he was fantastic with Southampton.Poch wasn't "proven world class" when they recruited him unless you have a different definition of world class. For me it means signing one of the best managers in the world. Poch wasn't at the time despite doing well with Southampton.
Turns out Martial, Lukaku and Lingard are not the problem.
This is the worst run of form I've seen in all my time watching United.
Knew Ole was a terrible appointment and this would be the result. Fecking depressing.
