If I were a player I will seriously be hesitated to join a manager who is at his the best mediocre. Players want to play for Pep or Klopp because they know they will be even better players when training under world class managers/coaches.

Well then why do we even have a manager? Sack Ole, save £10m/year or whatever he is on, let the players manage themselves.
