I’d have James ahead of fecking Jesus.

Not trying to find excuses, but I think most our games this season being 3 or 4 days apart took a toll on our consistency. I don't know what changed today but after the 1-6 vs spurs we approached our big games too conservatively - regardless I'm glad we broke out of our shell, against the form team right now no less.I do not agree that we sat back and defended the whole day today. We took the game to City and we had a very quick tempo and played at pace. My question is why cannot we do this or did not do this against the bottom clubs and other top clubs? We started those games on the back foot and slow and got punished. We did not play the slow football we normally play.
I would say that Henderson made a difference too. He used his head in throwing that ball out. City thought he was going to drop it to one of the CBs and they were up on the box to press. If we had won against Everton, West Ham, Palace, WBA and Sheffield United, we would have had those extra points with today's win we should be equal on point to City I think.
Who said he was? You’re the one that said that Ole is a clown and ranieri is ten times the manger and are happy with that opinion. Why is Ole better than Ranieri? Do you think Ole can win the league with a team barley managed to survive relegation?
This season? Yes. Probably a lesser of 2 evils.Hold up a second...
Jesus better than Martial?
Pope's not going to like that. How about T. Abraham then?
OYou called him a clown. How is that related to him being a manager?
O
It is a metafor. I am pointing out he is not the level of a Manchester united manager.
Anyhow. If you/others are offended by my posts about Ole and you feel they are too harsh, I will absolutely tone it down and keep it simple and apologise for any inconvenience. Good night.
Moses on the right, Jesus on the left, Abraham up top.
Awful forward line.
Agree.Like I said, lots of people disagree with Ole as the manager and they all make valid points so you can normally enter into a discussion. Anyway it’s more about making it about the managerial abilities not personal about the managers. We all want what’s best for the club so let’s stick with that.
It’s very true. There is talent in this team for sure but there are many things to improve and imagine how good this team can be when finding consistency. Not trying to find excuses, but I think most our games this season being 3 or 4 days apart took a toll on our consistency. We've beat PSG, City, and hammered Leipzig this season which shows we are capable of taking our game to any side on our day. I hope the consistency issue is addressed next season because that's mainly what's holding us from taking us to the next level.
I’d have James ahead of fecking Jesus.
This season? Yes. Probably a lesser of 2 evils.
If we're talking overall, Aguero would still get in over both of them.
Yeah, dont know how I ended up wit that guy.
His every post is having shot after shot at Ole. One of the worst around really and that's an achievement.
OleWho was that?
You’re trying to ridicule someone for mentioning they won a CAF award for being funny. You’re calling Ole a clown. Seems bitter to me.Bitter? How? Why would a long time man united supporter be bitter for a win against the Plastico? on the other hand, this thread is about the manager, and I will give my own opinion about him which many here will not like, and I am totally ok with that, they have the right to write whatever they think Ole is, as do I.
And I think a lack of patience with managers and the instant gratification culture is probably one of the most toxic things about some United fans.I think managers at Manchester united should not be given more than 2 years to win the League/or at least challenge for the title till the last breath, the enormous amount of money means they should deliver quickly. The only manager at united did not get that luxury was DM tbf.
Absolutely. But you know what, I never go around and do these posts searches and find stupid posts on any poster here like what the multiple "funniest poster" winner did, that is just childish dont you think?
I think there is almost no real “low block” team in the league this season. They all play with pressing and intensity. Most wait to start pressing once you enter their half rather than put a low block. We therefore very rarely could find a opportunity to play a real low block team. I only remember the game against Southampton we played the low block for large portion of the game.I can't figure out what has happened to ole's tactics against low blocks from last season
Last season since Bruno arrival this was our tactic against low blocks:
4-2-3-1 where wingers with opposite preferred foots (Rashford R leg in LW , Mason L leg in RW)
so they positioned inside the box to cut inside and score goals and our FBs provided width while positioned as wingers on sidelines
and we were great in fast one touch football and playing line breaking passes down the middle
This season : ole still mostly plays Rashford and Mason on opposite sides so they are expected to score (in box) , not to provide width but seen lots of times rashford and mason stuck on sidelines far away from goal
Bruno is playing very deep and without him another midfielders can't break opposition midfield line down the middle so they pass it wide in an endless useless cycle
and the distance between attackers and midfielders is very long
If his team starts to play like last season I'd love him to stay But if they continue playing shit , clueless and disorganised against low blocks
Hopefully we will finish top 4 then he must be replaced with a young promosing tactically smart manager ( nagelsmann )
And please don't Blame squad because it was smaller and less diverse last season but we played a very nice football

He often gets recognition for things he does right and today he did a lot right. We were a bit lucky because we scored both goals at great times - very early goal which definitely gave us a big confidence boost and the second one just before City looked like they are getting closer and closer to score but all in all we played fine today and deserved to win. Also, our defensive record against big teams is very good which is worth pointing out. We "Ole outters" don't have problem admitting when he does something right. Seems like some of you think we desperately want us to lose games so we can come out here and bash Ole. It couldn't be any more farther from the truth. He does something right - he deserves a recognition for that. He does something wrong - he deserves a criticism. That's how it works and that's how it should work.
Why? As I say, win lose or draw he's not good enough and must go.Ole outers livid tonight no doubt. That win was for reasonable Utd fans who understand this squad can only achieve so much.
You forgot GodMoses on the right, Jesus on the left, Abraham up top.
Awful forward line.

Yea, I was not talking about you there but more about people like @Nou_Camp99 who literally confirmed what I said just a post below yoursI didn’t say that, when did I? I’m not saying we should not point out issues when we note some. I do that. For example, I believe Ole should think more about using the subs at an earlier stage in games rather than waiting till the last 10-15 mins to make a substitution. It’s perfectly fine to point out things we believe need to improve. It’s perfectly fine to say we didn’t play well when we don’t play well. But what is happening here is that when we lose a game, Ole turns to a PE teacher, to someone who can not lead the team, someone who will never win a trophy. All i’m saying is that a bad result should not impact our general assessment of how well (in my opinion at least) he’s done.
Who cares about his record vs Pep? Do we get a trophy for that? Do we play a Pep team every week? Doesn't he also have like one win over Pep, anyways who cares. Pep builds sides that win important trophies not head to head records.Hahahahaha. Beats Pep for the 4th time and we are 2nd in the PL and he's not good enough? The only manager with a better head to head record Vs Pep in football.
You're clueless. This squad is definitely not a title winning one. 2nd for this group of players in my opinion is it's peak. Yes we've got some good players but we've got far too many medicore ones.
You can choose any manager in world football to be boss this season, bar taking Pep from City and we'd not be winning the league.
Ole needs to be given a new deal and get players he actually wants. Not freebies on deadline day and Donny who he clearly doesn't rate one bit.
They have been this season? How do we beat shit teams? big teams have never been our problems.

What is the agenda? This is really silly? I do not know Ole personally! why would I have an agenda against someone I never met, because he is bad at his job and I WANT SUCCESS TO THE CLUB I LOVE? If Ole wins major trophies do you think there is any united supporter would hate that?
Moses on the right, Jesus on the left, Abraham up top.

We're 2nd, a country mile off first place and a point above mighty Leicester. Come off it, we not even on pace for 80 points. Even Jose achieved that.
You live in a dream world. The man has spent 170 million on Donny, AWB and Maguire. That man won't be building a title winning squad in your lifetime. Give him a deal and more money to waste, what good is that gonna do us?
At the moment nothing is good enough, not the squad and not the coach. Changes are needed no matter how deluded people like you feel. Pretty sure you were one of those Jose loyalists who kept harping on about coming second as if its some achievement.
