Fair fecks to Ole. I was Ole Out and my biggest gripe with him was that we had no pattern of play other than Counter Attack and had no consistency. Both of those SEEM to be addressed. I wont fully say Ole in because consistency by virtue requires time and we havent really had a long extended period of consistency yet. My definition for that would be atleast 1/2 or 3/4 of a season. But he is definitely on his way to addressing my two biggest concerns with him

How about a calendar year?

So much of this post is absolutely turd, but let's start with the basics. You keep saying we'd be 6th had we not scored, which is factually incorrect. We'd be 4th on 28 points. We'd then be 5th if City win their game in hand, which there's absolutely no guarantee they will do.

Honestly. Post like this are just sucking the life out of this place. We got a dramatic last minute winner to put us 2nd in the league at the turn of the year yet there's still the relentless need to criticise the manager.

I honestly think there's a subset of posters
on here that would take more joy out of us getting beat, because they see it as vindication of their agenda and opinions.

This is so true. If we end up on a great run and win the league these same ‘fans’ will be gutted except a few who will deny ever slating Ole.

I don't really rate ole and do talk negatives every now and then but never do I want to lose a game or after a win. I love and enjoys those the most. If we win the league or go on another great run ole gets credit.

Long term I am still not sure if he's the right manager for us though but last four results have once again been great.

He's done everything the fan base was screaming for someone to do:

- culled a lot of shit players from the squad

- made us far more entertaining to watch

- made us competitive and expecting to win every game.

We're light years from the depressing misery we endured from 2013-2018. People seem to be forgetting the state we were in, nobody was turning that pile of shit around overnight.

At this point if individuals can't accept what Ole has done they never will

None of us know who "the right manager" is "for the long run", but what we do know is that Ole gotten a lot right so far. Some wrong, no doubt, but the tally of his work is in his favor. We'll see where we are in May and at the point the board and Ole, as well as all of us here, will discuss who the right man is for United for the long run.

I've been Ole out twice during his tenure, but if the PR teacher beats Klopp to the title, I'll build the statue myself

Our comeback since the CL has been fantastic. Since we criticized him back then, he has to get full credit for managing to get the team past this disappointment pretty quickly back on the train in the league. We have looked immense since Sheffield game. Fair play Ole !

Just give us the title challenge we have long waited for please !

How can anyone call Ole a defensive manager or us a defensive side. We are anything but defensive or boring.

“ole“. You hate him, man.

Thank you Ole. I love you regardless, but nothing would make me happier than for you to succeed as a United manager. You have already brought more joy and enthusiasm than any coach post Sir Alex.

The team seems to be improving. Slowly, but steadily. Im optimistic!

Credit where it's due, even though we weren't great tonight, he did set us up nicely and lack of football IQ from some players (looking at you Rashford) took away from our attacking game.

Spot on.

Played an absolute blinder regarding Pogba. Could have followed most of the caf advices and freeze him out of the squad but instead let him earn us points.

He’s transformed the club from Mourinho’s tenure.
And the good thing is we’re a work in progress.
Let’s enjoy the ride!

If you're still pretending this team doesn't have an identity, belief, style, whatever you want to call it, you're just lying to yourself. And it gets more pathetic each week

What a turnaround after that CL exit. He definitely has something about him because he keeps doing it, and keeps the players onside.

It’s great to see him doing so well. New year and fresh start where we can all get behind him now. Let’s see what he can do.

442 brings absolutely the best what this team have. Pogba in attacking role, forwards on their positions, two dmc have two creative midfielders with them, Shaw's attacking game (yes, that is right) and then we can balance from dominating from counters.

Anyway, for me, the best game under Ole.

Again spot on with his tactics. He gets more games right than wrong when tinkering. Personally I feel he can manage the substitutions much better with fatigue playing such an important role this season.

I’m enjoying his high standards, incredible run of form, most points in the league and he’s already thinking how we can improve next time out.

Seems a bit disappointed in his post match interview.
Good. This is like the third game in a row he’s come out and given an interview, pointed out the strengths and weaknesses of the performance and I’ve thought he’s been bang on. Like he pointed out our need to repeatedly go for the killer ball and not seeing out the game more smartly. So hopefully this is something we can learn from and he can get the players to do better with next time.

Rushford had 2 clean clean opportunities that he shot straight at the keeper. We should have been cruising.
