Nh, he is just there to make the lineups and the rest is up to the players or something. Ole is the first manager in United's history who cant do more than make lineups and transfers, the rest he is blameless.

And if he makes a bad transfer move it'll be down to Woodward. He's responsible for the good transfers only.

Maybe if he puts a bad lineup it'll be Carrick's responsibility too or something.

The fans who make excuses for him are contributing to the clubs decline at this stage.

I don’t mind a debate, but yet another game of tumescent rubbish and 4 points off 14th place. He is dragging the standard and expectations to new lows.

The teams around us have far inferior players and actually look coached.

It’s funny to hear “I can see so many positives, but you have never kicked a ball”

Surely it’s more arrogant to claim you can see a style of play and a plan when results and performances are so poor?

The argument doesn’t make sense.

When United released the ‘training video’ of Bruno yesterday, and it was basically keepy-uppies between the keepers and a big game of pig in the middle with the first teamers - I knew that we did feck all in training.

The players aren’t coached, and have to rely on improvisation - which is great when you have a Rashford or a Pogba in the side who can provide individual brilliance.

Without that, we’re relying on doing the same thing over & over and expecting a different result.

Don't forget the part where they put the ball in the green bin  Loving the time spent on all these drills

But honestly I see zero evidence on the pitch that we're being coached well. Zero. It's just pick a 11 and let's hope they pull something out of the bag and then bring in subs at the last minute.

This could be a reflection of our training could it not ? This isn't an issue for today but all season long.
Could be. But slow attacking build up is not 'the SAF way' so I doubt OGS is asking for this (whereas LVG insisted on his player's taking 2 touches!).

I think we have a squad of players who are the standard that we are seeing.

Haha he just delighted at having 3 clean sheets against Wolves says yeah we have only scored one but they haven't scored any with a look of satisfaction. Someone gif that

I feel like just setting new lows for a United manager is all Ole is good for now . We have 35 points from matches , on course for 50 points this season . We are 38 points behind Liverpool . Since he became permanent manager we have won 10 league games out of 34 which is almost a full league season. Seriously I live in Liverpool and no one laughs at us anymore , it's more of pity than laughter . There is no end to the misery with Ole at the wheel
That can't be true.

No way to know for sure, I just see teams with worse players, teams ranked below, play in some sequences, some football we never do or we rarely see. Players aren't good enough but so is the coaching IMHO

Bielsa or Wilder next. Even Nuno himself would bring an effective style. All three would coach something tangible.

Dominated them 65%-35% possession. What more could Ole do? Sub himself on?
It used to be fun to mock Arsenal fans when they bragged about having more possession or winning the passing as they slipped to another limp draw/defeat...

Could it really have been worse than James?
Fair. I think thats the only criticism of his management today. But not much else he could have done. I was happy with the team selection and thought the team did OK, but were just bit hesitant in attacking build up play, which meant we could never really break down the Wolves defence.

Im hopeful it will come, but will take time, which Im willing to give.

He is absolutely fecking clueless.

£200 million spent, four of his own players in and we haven’t improved in the slightest bit.

No tactics. No discernible style. No fecking clue.
Three of his players were probably some of the best out there.. But I agree he needs to go.

You can't fault him. He probably sees them as a benchmark we should aspire to reach.

It's a worrying trend and if it's not challenged the guy could set us back years like Mourinho did. When we win he gets the praise, lose the players and Woodward are blamed and we are supposed to believe that he needs several windows to learn that you can make changes much earlier than the 87th minute?

Look at it this way, Fred was crap when he arrived, matic was being sold, Shaw was injured and controlled my mourinho, Rashford was on less goals, a lot of player were stinking up the place, fans hated Lukaku and Suarez.

Since then - Williams, Greenwood, Mctom, Fred and arguably Rashford have kicked on. We've got a new captain and CB in Maguire, locked the RB side (tackle rates on that side are more that most premier League team sides all together), got new 10 and RW, looks like he's got a new striker when teams around us have failed and in loan.

Personally I think he needs to switch up his coaching staff

Didn't say it was good, but certainly not terrible as some of you are making out. Wolves never really threatened, they had to resort to shithouse tactics to disrupt us. We looked like this under Mourinho alot so i'm just happy we were solid at the back. Bruno looked positive and that is without any training or time to gel with his teammates.

Yes it’s never as terrible as we’re making it out, your lot favorite fecking line, we’re all blind as bats sure. If this isn’t terrible football I don’t know what is. He’s played Wolves 5 times now in 10 months and won only once. But let’s praise him for parking the bus at the Etihad and City hilariously not scoring from one of their 20 chances at goal.

Im not sure Carrick and McKenna are all that. They barely have any coaching experience. SAF used to find the very best around like McClaren or Quirez. Perhaps you're right in that we need to hire proven and experienced coaches.

To add to more amazing Ole stuff we are behind Sheffield United in the table . The same Sheffield United who just signed a 25 million pound guy yesterday as their record transfer . Before this season no one could have named anyone in their squad and we are behind them . How can anyone make excuses about the squad is beyond me

Ole is the worst of the lot of managers post fergie. Horrendous.

And I can't argue with any of that. All those points are in my opinion reasons to praise him. But I don't see Ole knowing anyone who coaches at a better technical level, and even if someone was available I simply just don't see him changing it. It strikes of Moyes doing things one way/his way and being too stubborn to change it up. With that being my belief, all the good off pitch management will be nullified by an endlessly drab "style" of football that takes us nowhere; one that in truth is just holding us back.

Luckhurst is right, but it's funny how the journalists have begun distancing themselves from Ole and have instead started defending Woodward more. The Neil Ashton signing may have made all the difference.

Always someone else's fault, it can't be that maybe he is out of his depth?

Our defense looks disorganized, midfield has holes like swiss cheese, the attack can't score a goal, and we struggle to play some decent attacking football. Nothing new really, Ole is not the guy to lead this club. Only a blind man wouldn't see that.

That is the only reason he looked positive. Time with coaches will take all that positivity out. See how James started.

Dire football. I know it's Wolves and both teams would rather counter with space available but it's tediously similar to most games.

Haha he just delighted at having 3 clean sheets against Wolves says yeah we have only scored one but they haven't scored any with a look of satisfaction. Someone gif that

 he's so unbelievably small-time. Moyes 2.0

Fans need the break too. 2 free weeks without the mood getting ruined thanks to the team. I'll make sure to make the most of it.

2 weeks without football and we'll see people voting to keep him on again. Cause united fans init.

And we created what? We just drew against Wolves at OT and you think it is good? You think it is about players?
Ole is total disaster as manager. Give him Liverpool or City and he would be 5th at best.
Biggest curse in football should be " I hope that Ole becomes your new manager".

He's probably being sarcastic. I hope so anyway.
EDIT: Actually, he isn't. Just saw his response. Bloody hell.

Some people have very low standards. To some, a draw against Wolves is seen as a good result.
I've been saying this for a while now, that our club's ongoing demise is partly down to fans.
Only 2 years ago, we finished 2nd and that wasn't good enough for many. These days, 6th place behind Sheffield Utd is acceptable to some and seen as "heading in the right direction".

The LOLZ continue with an amateur in charge of one of the biggest clubs in the world. Because he played for us.
