The classics....Grim Fandango, Indiana Jones, Doom II, Prince Of Persia, Monkey Island series, Duke Nukem, Day of The Tentacle, Wolfenstein etc....

Lots of classics in there..
Loved Prince of Persia as a kid (the old 2D Dos version :D), Wolfenstein, Skyroads (Anyone remember that?), California Games, Grand Prix Racing.....

All of those were Dos games...and i think i have most of them still...

Loads that aren't coming to my mind now..

Police Quest 1-4 (particularily number 3 ((have previously finished 1 and 2, almost finished 4 but not being a sonny bonds story i didnt like it as much)), xp compatible desperately wanted )

Oh yeah Hugo I II and III

Gazza do you mean star wars episode 1 where you play the movie? came out about the same time as the pod racing game. That wasnt THAT long ago, but i enjoyed it as well, particularily since i finished the game before the movie was released in Australia.

how about stunts (create a track especially) or the original test drive.

I used to love Sierra games. Especially LSL and Space Quest. And Lucas Arts games. All the "Adventure games" basically.

This thread has inspired me to dust it off once more.
 
What game am I thinking of? Someone must know and I've been trying to find it for years but I have no idea what it's called and I vaguely remember what it's about.

Basically - There would be a few tall buildings I think and a car would stop outside it, then a guy would get out, he looked like an inspector I think, and then he would go into the building/hotel. Other then that, I can't remember a single thing about it.

Any ideas?

Is that an intro, or the actual game? Mission impossible and spy vs spy had similar moments IIRC.

I don't think it's either of them. I think, but I'm not sure, it had SIM in the name.
