On top of this, Chelsea and Tottenham couldn't get a striker in. We've done better business than all our close rivals this window. Why are people crying about a loan to address our injury issues?

Insane. Signing a striker from goddamned Chinese league. That's where players retire. Has anybody ever signed a 30-year-old from China into EPL? We let Lukaku go for THIS? I just can't wrap my head around how crazy this feels. It will take him a whole season to get in form for EPL level, coming from China (that assuming he can still play at this level). What is the fecking point for this loan?
If he scores 30 in half a season he shouldn't be bought? Jesus wept! What reality do these posters live in?
Just what we wanted. A striker who cant finish his shotsWe definitely needed a striker after Rashford got injured but I'm really sceptical whether Ighalo is the answer. I've not seen any of his games after he left Watford but looking at his clips in China he looks really poor. Looks like he lost some pace and technically he looks lacking.
do you want a bag to breathe into?
Wrong.Absolute joke of a signing. Of all the strikers around the world, we've gone for Ighalo. How the money grabbing mercenaries have landed on their feet in this world eh? Feck off to China and still get a big break . Feck me
Because they have to. How else would they cope? Why are people crying about a loan to address our injury issues?

ThisJust inventing reasons to be angry
There’s always a bellend who a) can’t see an obvious joke, and b) overreacts with in insult.Theres always a bellend who tries to be smart. Hes an athletic striker which should fit the amount of running our front three do, as opposed to the like of cavani who we were also linked to
Same as my UEFA Pro Licence, but I fancy myself as a top tier manager alsowhats your premier league scoring record?

We really have. We got in a goal scoring mid and an epl ready striker to help with injury crisis. I would have but off your hand for that 2 weeks agoOn top of this, Chelsea and Tottenham couldn't get a striker in. We've done better business than all our close rivals this window.
Best comment I've read in this thread so far.Wrong.
There are almost no strikers in the world willing to come here for half a season, to sit on on the bench when everyone is fit.
The good ones will never leave mid-season to come to a struggling club in January. The ambitious ones will never accept their lowly place in the squad pecking order. The ones without PL experience will never be able to acclimatise to the league quickly enough to make a difference between now and May.
Ighalo is the next best thing.
Why are people crying about a loan to address our injury issues?
Indeed. It's infinitely preferable to signing a guy like King who, with the best will in the world, isn't good enough for where we are when everyone is fit, much less where we want to go. It allows us, hopefully, the breathing room to pick the right player long term.I can't see what the issue is with him coming on loan. Provides a different option for the club. An unfortunate injury to Martial or Greenwood completely messes up what's left of the season. If people are looking for a top-class forward on loan for the remainder of the season is just not a possibility. They're not available and won't want to be on the bench.
Haaland's non-deal messed up the clubs planning.

Calm the feck down. He's here for 6 months. Why does everyone think he's our number 1 target. He's here to help until we get Rashford back. That can't be true. We've just signed Odion fecking Ighalo, a Watford reject. Truly desperate times.
Subtle digs but genuinely think getting someone rather than no one is better. Hopefully we get top 4 cause of it.

Would rather just bring Dong back for peanuts if that was the plan!Genius by United. No defender will want to get near him . He'll cut through defenses like butter as they avoid getting the corona virus.

In reality were your type of thinking led us to were we are right now.
Jamie redknapp says it smacks of desperation.
Jamie redknapp is a gobshite.
Please don't start making this a thing....Now Ole has to ask himself if he honestly thinks Ighalo is a better bet than Lukaku.
