You're completely missing the point of these sort of threads. It's discussion. I don't want you to like everything I like. You said DM is "Easily one of the top 2 or 3" and I picked you up on it. If you don't want your opinions commented on it's a bit stupid to stick them on an internet forum.
Ah no worries, it's not worth getting hung up about music. I adored Oasis when I was in my early teens. If you'd asked me then I probably would have said Morning Glory was the best album.
Everyone seems to have loved Oasis as a teenager and then gone off them as they have matured. Maybe it is a path we are all destined for...

I don't know about gone off them, it's just musical tastes change and there's only so long you can stay fixed on one band or kind of music. People who like Oasis will probably end up liking bands like the Beatles, the Kinks, and the Who even more, given time.
Also, I think younger people like Oasis because of the attitude and aggression they had, and the loud guitar and drums. And it's accessible and not snobbish, so people can get into it.
