Mazaroui is consistently good. I feel we should give him some rest during the rest of the dead league games, we need him fresh for the Europa games.

He's fantastic. Always gets touch tight and great on the ball. A real good signing

Feeling more and more confident with Maz, Yoro, De Ligt, Maguire, Heaven, Martinez at CB. If Shaw is still alive that's a nice boost as well.

One signing at midfield (please, I beg) and all in on attack. Let's go.

He’s consistent. I’m not too worried about our defense. We have a decent mix of options.

We also shouldn’t underestimate how much a good offense can elevate a teams defense. It can the pressure off our backline

Top signing. He oozes class at that RCB, both defensively and with the ball. Hopefully his days of playing RWB are over.

We need a RWB too.

I'm in camp Amad / Dalot at RWB for a season. I don't think Bruno + Amad have enough pace / physicality in between them for those two #10 spots. Amad is also really good when he starts wide on the touchline and carries the ball into the box.

What I really want is:

An Adam Wharton at CM
A Cunha at #10
Proper goalscorer (Gyokeres / Osimhen) at CF

Of course, not those exact players because that's a 250m window.

Is it? Osimhen and Cunha are around 62m each, that's 124m. Wharton can't cost more than 70m surely.
Quality over quality should be the approach like you said.

Yeah esp if we manage to get rid of Rashford / Sancho / Casemiro.

I was more thinking of relative bargains like a Rovella as our DLP. I think there are bargains to be had despite everyone and their mom chasing Zubimendi. I'd take a Ruben Neves or a Thomas Partey type for example, it doesn't have to be a Rodri level player. Similar player at #10 -- Find a Gakpo or Diaz if Cunha is too expensive.

CF you have to splurge I think, strikers don't just fly under the radar unnoticed.

Rovella! I haven't heard that name for a while.
I wonder how he compares to someone like Ederson.

Olympique Lyonnais 2:2 Man Utd New
He was fantastic, some really important blocks and one vs one defending. But think all the praise will go to the Yoro thread.

Don't think he was as good as usual, he had problems with Mikautadze's trickery a few times.

Did well again. I think he does have one or two moments where he over-commits but generally he's excellent.

Yeah heard that too and he was not there celebrating at the end. I hope whatever it is not too bad

Im sure he said he had to take him off but wanted to bring Lindelof on but he also had to leave the ground at half time due to personal issues.

It's easy for me to say this now, but I reckon we'd have seen out the 2-0 if he hadnt got injured. He was playing quite well.

Yeah things went to shit once he came off. Shaw who doesn't have any match rhythm had to come on thus moving Yoro to the right as well.

Hopefully nothing serious and he’s back after the weekend.

Had a very strong first half today. Hopefully his personal issues are resolved very quickly, we need him in good shape for Bilbao

Fingers crossed everything is okay with him.

He’s been a superb signing for the fee - I feel he’s a calming figure in the back 3 (we miss that when De Ligt is absent)

He's a really brilliant player. I think you sometimes almost get away with playing a full back in a back 3 due to the extra cover but I think he would do great in a back 2 as well.

It's funny cause when we signed him, I thought we would be sacrificing some defending for attack from Wan Bissaka but he's a better defender.

Has been reported "Noussair Mazraoui and Victor Lindelof had to leave Old Trafford at half-time to address urgent family issues. Man United say both matters are entirely independent of each other and the players are both fine.

That's a bit odd isn't it, how often do you hear of a player leaving mid game, but two players?

What kind of weird shit is this?? Two players leaving at half time in a crucial match? To address family matters? That have zero connection to each other?? It's like Escape to Victory. Harry persuaded the rest not to escape through the communal bath, that they could BEAT the Nazis/ French. I personally am glad he did.
