The vaccinations seem to be going well, atleast in my area.

My partner is a nurse and got a vaccine through work. I got mine about a month ago, still not sure why, (something about having a heart murmur as a child and being a bit fat). My mum and dad have both got their first jab a couple of weeks ago and my grandparents got their ages ago.

Maybe my small sample size is above average, but its encouraging.

Yeah NI is doing great, rattling through them

south.. different story so far :(

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not quite there. I’m kinda lost politically

I can relate to this. Brexit and how it's been handled has nudged me towards being more open to a UI than I ever have before, assuming it could somehow be executed in an economically viable way.

Okay, thanks. It’s a constant worry for anyone serving in the PSNI, they’re constantly taking precautions with their cars.
And Prison too. Fella was shot on the motorway about a mile from where I live, few years back.

UDA apparently out on the street organising this.
Really says a lot if this is all they have. These kids will be picked off as the weeks go by because the PSNI wont give a feck about them. Stop the rest of the dickheads down the line

A lad I used to work with had his da shot dead because he delivered bread to an army barracks. They waited all night in his house, holding his family hostage, including this lad who was just a kid at the time. When the dead came home they shot him

If you ever watch ‘pop goes Northern Ireland’ it will open your eyes to the horrific nature of the troubles, growing up in Greysteel I saw that first had with scars it leaves behind..

One of the guys that shot up the bar there went to my school, 1 year ahead. Bad then too.

worked with a lad in the civil service from there, eamon something, slightly disabled and a little camp but a good lad

Torrens Knight or Stephen Irwin.

Not sure about Eamon, maybe Eamon Devine but wouldn’t think so if he’s camp or disabled.

The pub massacre had always given me the shudders. Completely senseless abhorrent crime.

Also strapping a bomb to man and then making him drive to a checkpoint is honestly sickening. Something you’ll see from IS or the like.

Both sides did some horrible, horrible shit. I can only imagine what it was like during the troubles.

Held his family at gun point whilst they made him do it if I remember right, that was a particularly heinous thing to do.

My mate went to school with Torrens Knight. I remember that so well, absolutely horrific. Some truly awful things happened here. Shankhill butchers, etc also. Torture, killings, bombings. Thank God it's in the past.

Totally get it. I think in the last election I voted for a Tory candidate who hadn't a hope in hell purely because I couldn't stomach voting for Jim Shannon and the Tory sent out a leaflet talking about nothing but local issues. I think its important to vote for someone, its just a shame there is nobody worth voting for.
Vote for the Greens if you feel that way. That's what I do.

Jamie Bryson blaming the well known Republican Leo Varadkar on tonight's unrest.

The fact that he is the 'voice' of loyalism just sums everything up. How much of a loss David Ervine was is hard to understate.

A few burnt out cars just shows the shell of a campaign it is. The whole thing seems toothless and a higher petcentage of these being picked up after the fact will slow it all down anyway.
All theyre doing is putting themselves in the crosshairs when they were being left alone. It makes no sense.

Aye its just kids probably bored out of there minds being easily persuaded to do this.

I hear its drug debts being called in and the like, a lot of these kids are being told to do this.
Its so mind numbingly stupid in this day and age. I bet they all had their phones on them then theyll wonder how they were caught

I'm from a loyalist town and these scenes really are sickening. Little thugs is the right terminology for them. Going to be a few generations yet I think before we find absolute peace.

A lot of this is indirectly caused by Stephen Nolan fanning the flames every morning. He needs to be removed.
