Never heard of Ball for some reason but I just read that Chuck gave him a free house in his medieval fiefdom (the Duchy of Cornwall) after he was exposed!

We are stuck with them for the foreseeable unfortunately as William and Kate know how to play the game.

Watched the three part series about Maxwell, Ghislane etc. Her dad a double agent? Cameras installed in bedrooms? Seems to me there’s lots going on at all kinds of levels here. No sympathy for that sweaty toad whatsoever though.

I would have thought a jury trial would be the last thing they would want, but then I guess his reputation is utterly ruined at this stage anyway.

possibly, but isn't this just a civil case anyway? It would just be the publicity and details getting dragged further through the press that that I would have thought they would want to avoid.

But if he settles then that's him admitting he is guilty?

But yeah, I guess everybody knows or thinks he is guilty anyway, so a settlement make sense in that it's a quick getaway from the front pages and secrets would be buried.

A trial by jury would pay off if he is determined innocent.

Settles or doesn't settle, there seems no good outcome for him.

Looks like he’s finished anyway, and if he settled it could be spun along the lines of not wanting to drag witnesses through the courts, and spare them further exposure of their sex lives. Disingenuous, but might well do the job.
 
Am looking forward to him being questioned on his visit(s) to Thailand with Epstein and Maxwell,am sure he didn't sweat there!

The not sweating was a temporary thing because of the trauma of the Falkland War, which seems to only happen when he's in a nightclub with an underage girl, so any pictures showing him sweating at any other time need to be taken in context.

Or something.
